Quirk 2: Eichenwald's Curse
Name: Eichenwald's Curse
Effect: Differs depending on the desired objective. The effects are listed below.
Stealth: Twisted metal spines rip through the user's skin, mostly appearing on the forearms and back. The tips of each are coated in a potent toxin that can be either fatal or induce a deep sleep, lasting anywhere from ten minutes, to several days. Spines can be violently ejected from the body and there is little that can stop them once in motion, unless they hit the desired target. Force can be adjusted for range. Spines that become lodged in the ground after being launched release a gas that has the same properties as the compound on the tips of the spines. User is immune until Quirk is deactivated.
Rescue: The user duplicates up to five times, but all six are forced to work in teams of two. One creates retrieves various tools from a pocket dimension, and the two get to work freeing trapped people, while another team feeds people after a disaster, (If there is one. If not, then they get people to safety and continue with the rescue effort) while the third team ensures that the civilians freed are well defended, setting up a multitude of defenses.
Assault/Combat: A dark metal bursts from the user's spine, and covers the whole body, effectively protecting them from any sort of hazard that might be presented, like fire, explosions, etc. Even if the Quirk is exposed to any sort of ability designed to disable another Quirk, the armor stays until the threat has been neutralized. The armor will then fall away, exposing the user. Enhanced strength, speed, and reaction time. Palms are charged with energy that is discharged through strikes. If the user is restrained in this state, or somehow disabled, the armor will attempt to escape from the threat or restraints, and if it is unsuccessful, it will fall apart, exposing the user. Able to take strikes from All Might and Nomu. Extreme Heat Resistance.
With all three stages, the user can 'Blink' and 'Stutter'. Blink is a short range teleport, while Stutter is a form of camouflage. User will sometimes Stutter when nervous or upset.
Physical Changes: User has a bone mask over their face, and it is a part of their skull. Eyes can be seen, but user cannot physically speak, and eating and drinking are nearly impossible, as both take great effort, something the user often cannot put forth. Eyes are a harsh yellow color. Mask is covered in combat armor. If the Quirk were to be erased, mask could possibly be removed. No documented attempts of users attempting to remove mask at any point.
Pros: Incredibly diverse, useful in many different scenarios.
Cons: User is unable to speak, while eating and drinking are nearly impossible, resulting in a skinny, malnourished appearance.
Backlash: Backlash effects differ for each mode.
Stealth: User does not heal after Quirk is deactivated, leaving gaping holes in many parts of the body. The users typically have many scars.
Rescue: Suffers from being overworked, as the combined efforts tax the original, who is already carrying out the work alongside the clones. Clones have unlimited stamina, and could carry on forever. User does not, and it drains their stamina to utilize the Quirk, and when deactivated, they feel the combined effort of the clones on their body. (For example: If a clone lifted 300 pounds, then the user deactivated the Quirk, the user would feel as though they themselves lifted 300 pounds.)
Combat: Can still suffer injuries, and the armor does not repair them; it only holds the user together until medical attention can be given, or the armor falls away, whichever comes first.
Additional Information: This Quirk was named due to the mask making eating, drinking, and speaking impossible, along with the severe drawbacks. User can, however, link with other people's minds and speak using that person's voice. This is a one way bridge, however, so the user will know everything about their victim, but the victim will know nothing.
Notable Users: None thus far.
