You know what I hate the most about Christmas is people talk about family and you know the sentence I most dread hearing ? Take a guess ! Okay times up !

It's 'What your mom like ? '

And I don't know how to respond which is why  im in this current uncomfortable and awkward situation .......

After I arrived to school I sat down put a Santa hat on that the teacher required us to wear for this party, it was great until the teacher asked us to play a game that talks about our family ....... great .

"Okay it's Fayes turn ," Ma'am Dinah turned to me "What's your mother like ?"

I was shocked to asked a question and I couldn't say my usual answer ,' My mother ditched us to be with the ocean 'can I?

"Ummm she's not around she left when I was younger ..." I told them .

"Oh , well I'm sorry to hear that .." she replied and then changed the subject .

"Okay ,uhhhh...... Jean! Your next ! " 

Family sucks......
