i genuinely thought publishing fan- fiction was impossible.

but it's not because well... they're still books with amazing plot lines, characters and the only thing that makes it different from usual fiction books is the fact that celebrities are used.

i'm aware that many use celebrities' true personality traits or inside jokes as part of a fandom, but the main thing many writers use are the appearance looks. hair colour, facial features, height, etc.

there is quite a stigma around fan-fiction which i can understand but don't agree with. putting real people into a book, in imaginary situations or circumstances can cause controversy but it's important to remember that these celebrities are used as characters.

they're solely used for character purposes.

i personally, write fan-fiction about BTS because it's a way for me to connect two things that i love. i think many can relate. to bring together writing and their love for someone or a band together.

so it's not impossible. there's no need to change your whole story, just change the names!
