Shimmering fields of stars that dot the evening skies.

I remember countless nights where you and i would stay out late at night.

Talking about everything and nothing.

Laughing at something the other would say.

I miss those days.

The way we could finish what the other had to say.

Sitting drinking tea together at the end of the day.

I thought those moments would stay forever.

I go out each night under the stars.

Always remember you.

Remember all the moments we shared.

Your smiling face.

Your caring ways.

You once told me you wished you could pick a star from the sky and give it to me.

Now when i look up at those stars i wonder if you can see me.

One star that's twinkling extra bright.

Maybe it's you.

Maybe if i make a wish on that star.

You will hear my message wherever you are.

You'll always be a special memory.

But since then i have realized it's time to let go.

I have moved one

Found someone special to make new memories.

Gaze at stars with me.

I know wherever you may be that your smiling and happy for me.
