All the feelings and words unspoken.

Avoiding words our mind screams from inside.

Feelings we insecurely hide.

Unsure what the other feels or what they will say.

Hints spoken but not completely clear.

Each searching, waiting for what we long to hear.

Avoiding feelings we're afraid to commit to.

Bruised heart and tender feelings keep your mind reeling.

Yet so many unspoken words just hang in the air.

We could drown under all the words we don't say.

Hoping the other's feelings don't slip away.

Feelings we try to mask and hide.

So many words unspoken we were to afraid to say.

Silently waiting, debating in our mind what the other is feeling.

Both waiting for the words and feeling to be spoken.

We could drown under all the words we don't say.
