Mother used to love me so.

Now she merely wanders the midnight hours.

How i quander what she's become.

She rattles my doorknob late at night.

Oh how her strange new ways give me such a fright

Her teeth come out and begin to grow.

Her odd looks she tries so hard not to show.

Her beautiful eyes now look at me with a menacing stare.

She has a unblinking deadly glare.

Her skin so pale and fair.

Daylight hours she stays locked away.

Mother used to love me so.

Now she only wishes to harm me like her other prey.

I fear i wont be safe much longer here in my room locked away.

Mother comes for me every night.

She pleads for me to let her in.

I fear her so.

Oh how i wish i had the loving mother i used to know.

I caught her watching me from the window outside.

She claws at my window stating "you cant forever hide."

My dear mother now a creature of the night.

Her crimson fangs give me such a fright.

Mother used to love me so.

I fear she is coming for me this night.

My heart flutters with impending doom.

I too shall be a vampire soon.
