I used to be so in love with you.

I thought it was something that would never end.

We started off just as good friends.

I would tell you everything.

You would always make me laugh.

Tell me my smile was bright as the morning sun.

Hold me when i cried.

You protected me.

Walked beside me holding my hand.

Looked at me with so much love in your eyes.

You would play the guitar and sing for me.

We were two hearts that beat as one.

Then you were gone.

I grieved you so deeply.

Felt so much pain.

I slept with your picture.

Cried untell there were no more tears.

I never thought losing you was something i had to fear.

Then one day with no warning you were gone.

We talked just that morning.

You said "love ya, see you later" With a gentle kiss.

But later never came.

I'll never forget that day.

I still remember the dark clouds and the rain.

I remember the knock on my door.

I remember them saying "im so sorry."

They said "please sit down."

The words there's been a accident.

Played over and over in my head.

I refused to accept it.

My mind just screamed, no you cant be dead.

I could still smell your scent on your jacket.

Almost feel you near me when i closed my eyes.

I could hear your deep voice whisper i love you in my ear.

I remember how you loved to play with my hair.

Then just one rainy day.

Just one glance away at your phone.

It was all gone.

You left me alone.

Why did you text me?

Couldn't you have waited to tell me what you had to say?

That's the day ill forever remember when you were taken away.

You still live in my heart everyday.

Your memory will always stay.

The pain slowly became bearable little by little each day.

I will always love you.

Apart of you will always live in my heart.

Its time for me to say goodbye.

Its time for a new start.

I've held on to you for so long.

Its been a few years since you have been gone.

There's been so many tears.

Its reached the day my love when i have to say goodbye.

Its not easy for me i have cried all i can cry.

If by chance someday i find someone to love.

I hope you'll still be watching over me.

And know you were my first love.

But now its time to say goodbye.

Ill never know what your last thoughts of me were or what you wanted to say.

But ill always remember your words "i love you" everyday.
