Thoughts unraveling like yarn.

You willingly inflected emotional harm.

My mind bruised from intentional lies.

My heart beats to the tune of deceit.

Your words whispered so cunning, but sweet.

Words that were so untrue.

Leaving such a bitter taste on my very soul.

My eyes were open but they didn't truly see.

Hastily you played such a cruel game with me.

A jagged hole lays in my heart where you used to be.

Silently i watch and contemplate your lonely fate.

Thoughts unraveling like yarn.

I feel no hate, just a empty void where you sat so comfortably.

Oh how you thought your sweet lies enchanted and enticed me.

Your heart has parished, it sits tattered and torn, you feel nothing but the poison it leaks.

I look upon you now with only pity in my eyes.

So long ago i severed any ties to you.

A heart so bound in deceit and lies entwined like poison vine.

Capturing and infecting peoples lives with pain.

I would of willingly diminished and torn down those vines.

Leaving you vulnerable,

held you as you cried.

You would of been forever in my heart.

You chose to wither away, bitter hate festering in your twisted mind.

Your heart has no regrets it only beats and quivers spewing hate and deceit.

True love it shall never meet.

Note: So this poem was inspired by someone in my past that i once cared for. I recently heard from them again and i thought it would be really difficult if i was to ever talk to them again. But i found it didnt sadden me at all. I only felt sorry for them. Anyway hope you all like it and some may relate to it.
