Banana Oat Cookies

Ingredients: (makes 12 cookies )

✨3 Bananas 

✨1 3/4 cups of rolled oats 

✨1/2 cup date sugar(or powdered sugar)

✨1 teaspoon of vanilla 

✨2 pinches of cinnamon

Recipe:

Preheat oven to 350º F

Step one: Put your bananas in a bowl and mash them with a fork until they are no more chunks. Pour in your oats and sugar and mix well. Add the pinches of cinnamon and vanilla in and stir well. If you would like to add any add-ins such as chocolate or nuts, add them in and mix.

Step two: Scoop the batter into 12 rounds and place them on a lightly oiled baking sheet. Cook for about 10-15 minutes until the outside becomes golden and solid. Wait for them to cool for at least 10 minutes before eating. If you want can also drizzle chocolate over the top.

Disclaimer: This is not my recipe or my picture of the cookies, I found this online and liked it and decided to put this up in the book. Date sugar is healthy, and would make your treat healthier, powdered sugar works for the recipe but cannot be substituted for date sugar in general. The reason why I said powdered sugar and not normal sugar is because sometimes the sugar doesn't dissolve right, and theres little sugar chunks in your batter.
