Okay, so William was a little bit harder to figure out the exact faction I wanted to put him in because his personality can differ a bit between the seasons, especially depending on if we're discussing his teenage or adult selves.

Though, my final conclusion as to where I'd sort him would have to be Erudite.

Which yes, may seem like a somewhat simplistic answer because he's really intelligent and all, but I also believe he holds the poised demeanor and curious nature that Erudites usually have, too.

Though, I do believe that he'd try to use that intelligence to help people like his step-mom instead of just for exploration purposes for his outward kindness was displayed multiple times in the show revolving around how even though he's rich, that doesn't mean he forgets exactly where he comes from.

And one of my favorite examples of this is how he kept the hosen given to him by Felicity despite all of the pain he had from being abandoned by both his parents in the original timeline.

Though, that could of course cause him some difficulty with his peers due to how off-book helping others is in that community.

Secondary Faction Choice:

Which is exactly what leads me into the second faction which I'd think he'd choose; Candor.

Honestly, this one's pretty interesting because his personality could not be more different than Thea's and yet, he still values honesty almost as much as she does because he was lied to by all three of his parents for so long and thereof, tries his very best to guide his friends and family, especially Mia, down the paths that those around him or even sometimes, he didn't choose to take to avoid being honest about how they were feeling out of fear.

And, once again, he has a rather likable personality and prefers to travel in smaller friend groups like Candors, also :)
