Primary Personality Traits:

Strong-willed, determined, fearless, tactical, judgemental, stubborn, and controlling.

First Faction Choice:

This one was not a very hard decision to make because when I first came up with this idea, Oliver was naturally one of the characters I thought about first.

And the faction I believe that Oliver would fit the best in would be Dauntless for three main reasons:

1. The most important to Oliver, the thing that makes him want to wake up every morning and continue living his life looking forward to what comes next is undeniably his family, whether that be his sister or the one he eventually is lucky enough to make with Felicity.

And while none of the factions specifically encourage family connection, Dauntless does indeed require a certain level of natural protection towards the world around them and time and time again does Oliver prove just how important that is to him, both with his family and his city as a whole.

2. While this is a slightly more obvious reason, Oliver does put a lot of effort and energy into keeping his physique at peak condition (often with a certain salmon ladder) which is definitely a trait which most Dauntless prefer embracing, too.

And that's not even including the resemblance in the number of tattoos the Dauntless typically have, also.

3. Most of all, I think that the thing that truly made me feel like Oliver would fit best in Dauntless is the inner tactician that lies so easily within him, a trait that was one of the most honored and respected ones amongst the original Dauntless leaders.

And I believe that he would fight tirelessly to bring those traits of strength back into the Dauntless faction, too.

Secondary Faction: Erudite

(Mostly due to his belief that knowledge of your surroundings and others' history gives you an advantage that goes unmatched by anything else while in battle)
