Firstly, I just want to thank you all for taking the time to read this kinda random character analysis here! It truly means a lot to me :)

Okay, so I just want to make sure to start us off by giving us all a reminder (or a quick run through for those of you who don't really know Divergebt too well about the factions' primary traits so, you at least know what baseline I'm working off of for these character sortings (well, I guess a Harry Potter pun is only fair considering the factions are like Hogwarts houses, after all. Lol)

Abnegation:

Primary Value:

Putting others' needs before their own, no matter the circumstance.

Common Personality Traits:

Abnegations are usually remain very quiet due to their lack of personal opinion on subject matters as a whole, though can be found often socializing for the sake of tending to their community's needs.

Fatal Flaw:

This faction is so dead-focused on helping others that they allow their individuals no originality in any walk of life, often turning them all into copies of one another.

Beliefs:

Always put others first.

No conflicts are worth fighting for.

Those who seek power may never have it.

Candor:

Primary Value:

The honest truth in the face of conflict.

Common Personality Traits:

Due to Candors need for complete trust with those they surround themselves with, they tend to only be found in small groups, though they are known to be rather likeable people.

Fatal Flaw:

Can become so honest that there is no protection of one another's feelings and or thoughts, no matter how simple or dire the situation is.

Beliefs:

Say what's on your mind, no matter what.

Lies only lead to hatred.

Honesty is the best policy.

Erudite:

Primary Value:

The endless expansion of knowledge towards the world around them.

Common Personality Traits:

Erudite are often considered to be the most pretentious of any of the factions for their constant list for new information makes them seek out and answer any and all questions.

Fatal Flaw:

There is no length they will not go to in order to do what they believe will help progress their community, whether that be a simple new policy or war.

Beliefs:

Learn what others choose to ignore.

When in question, you are always correct.

Knowledge is worth any price, even your own life.

Amity:

Primary Value:

To find serene peace in a chaotic world.

Common Personality Traits:

Amities are typically rather relaxed people who strive to have fun in life, rather than focus on the hardships that others face around them.

Fatal Flaw

Beliefs:

Anger only leads to pain.

Go with the flow of life.

Happiness can always shine through rain.

Fatal Flaw:

Because of their naturally go-with-the-flow nature, Candors are often fail to take things seriously.

Dauntless:

Primary Value:

Protection and bravery are the only things necessary to survive.

Common Personality Traits:

Most Dauntless members are very loudly rambunctious and opinionated, especially in large groups.

Fatal Flaw:

Their fearless can often lead to them making rather reckless decisions.

Beliefs:

Never say no to a given order.

Fear is not possible.

Never show your weaknesses to others.
