BACKSTORY

Princess Fia Esperanza Kalea, the youngest of the royal family of Calrye, had a very precious title placed upon her the moment she was born: "The Golden Child". Her parents weren't planning on having anymore children, and with her eldest sister on her way to becoming the perfect Crown Princess and her older brother a prestigious Knight, this meant that her parents used every second of their time to focus on making sure that she didn't get up to any trouble.

Fia's freedom was bound down in shackles, and her every step was always shadowed by servants and guards. She never had the luxury of privacy. Nowhere, and I mean nowhere, was safe from prying eyes.

Unfortunately, the princess was also born with a wild soul, and craved the exhilaration that came with the lack of control she would get when she turned sixteen. And indeed, when she turned sixteen and escaped from her parents' grasps, that was when she truly understood what freedom meant.

Fia spent the next two years travelling to different kingdoms and meeting new people. Some might find that kind of life lonely as she hardly saw her family, and their only mode of communication was through letters. Of course, Fia didn't see it that way. She saw it as an escape from the royal duties and expectations that came with her role in society.

Then, her fun all came to a stop when a messenger had knocked upon the door of the inn she had been staying at and delivered the news of her participation in the upcoming selection.

PERSONALITY

The people who knew Fia referred to her as a free soul, against being tied down somewhere for too long. She was a fiesty and outspoken girl, and it was easy for her to turn a tense atmosphere into a relaxed one. Perhaps, it was something about the way she spoke, or the way she listened attentively when it called for it.

Of course, being unable to keep her mouth shut at times could, at times be an obstacle in her life, but she wouldn't have it any other way, believing that communication was key in most aspects.

Fia is also extremely loyal, and would do anything for the people she loves. However, break her trust even once, and she won't spare you a second glance no matter what.

THE SNOW

She loves winter, especially because it means being able to drink hot cocoa every day. Fia's hobbies during winter include making snow angels, creating snowmen, and finally, having snowball fights. Unbecoming for a princess, of course, but she could hardly care less.

THE NIGHT

One of her favourite pastimes is having a picnic under the moonlight. Odd, but she loves it either way. Picture it: sandwiches and wine, maybe some hot dishes to add to the elegance of it all.

FLOWERS

She's an absolute sucker for flowers. She loves them, especially pretty white Lilies. The perfect way to win her over is to bring her flowers...pretty much whenever.

ADVENTURES

She hates being tied-down to a place, and so, she finds adventures incredibly appealing. Fia especially enjoys adventuring with a partner, so if you're up to it...she'd love for you to join her.

DISLIKES

BEING CONTROLLED

After living sixteen years of her life following her parents' rule, she'd hate for something like that to happen again. And if she does give you permission to take the reins, don't mess up.

STRICT SCHEDULES

Fia doesn't believe in schedules. You only live once, so why rely on lists or schedules when you can see where life takes you? Going with the flow is the only motto in life she'll probably live by.
