Donghyuck dragged me out of the school along with Jaemin followed along without another word. I was partly confused that he was even helping us since he literally got into fights with Jeno and Donghyuck many times. Jaemin led us to the subway station so that we wouldn't get caught right at the bus station. I looked over at the other, as he stared back at me without a word, before he spoke up with a smirk, "Like what you see?"

I rolled my eyes and Donghyuck laughed because of his response. I never really realized how close and comfortable the two were when Jeno wasn't in the photo. I wasn't sure if they were the same kids who wanted to beat the hell out of each other a few months ago. He looked around carefully as we entered the subway, and he placed me on an empty seat as Jaemin and Donghyuck stood in front of me to supposedly protect me, as he claimed.

I mindlessly followed the two out of the subway as we walked out of the station. As we waited at the bus stop to travel elsewhere. The weather was so beautiful along with the gentle winds blowing against my hair. The clouds were not present, allowing the sun to shine happily without any distractions. As the bus arrived, Donghyuck flicked my forehead gently so that I would stop staring at the empty, bright blue sky. I rubbed my temple as he did, scowling to myself as I entered into the bus.

After what it seems like thirty minutes, we finally arrived towards the one place that I always wanted to visit: the beach.

I ran across the sand like a little child, throwing my backpack aside as the ocean was a contrasting beauty of the sky. Jaemin and Donghyuck soon trudged along with my backpack, as I was standing on the wet sand. I must have smiled the whole entire time, and Donghyuck soon stood next to me, ruining the moment, "That's the first time I've seen you smile so genuinely."

I realized that my smile was still painted on my face, frowning immediately when he pointed at it. Jaemin stood next to Donghyuck and interrupted his comment, "Hey she had to go through shit because of Jeno and Yeji. Shut the fuck up."

Donghyuck punched the other's shoulder, which made Jaemin stumble to the side. I wondered quietly how close these two were before Jaemin dragged us to a table where we could all sit, away from the water. Donghyuck sighed a little before looking up to make eye contact with me, and seemed to already answer my question that was lingering in my head, "Great.... I'm sure you were a little confused about it."

"You think?"

"Jaemin and I... are actually friends."

The sun seemed to shine a little harder which caused the heat to dance around my sweaty skin. I tried to wipe it away with a napkin nearby as we all awkwardly sat on the burning-hot chairs. However, I couldn't believe that these two enemies were actually friends. Jaemin shrugged his shoulders in response as he stared at the ocean quietly as Donghyuck continued and sighed, "The history between us is quite crazy...Jeno and I are step-siblings, and to make matters worse, his father is the head of the council of the KPS, Korean Private Schools."

My mind tried to comprehend all this as Jaemin then continued the conversation, "Jeno got soon jealous of how Donghyuck was a popular kid...and he started to make everyone like him and turned Donghyuck into his little minion. I, of course, couldn't stand seeing that little bitch- but he soon made it seem like I was an enemy.. got no choice but to spread rumors of their 'relationship'..."

All of this started to make sense of how the classroom reacted towards the two male. The well, popular class president was the well-known and well-liked yet people seemed to be afraid of him. The class clown was welcomed by the others yet no one wanted to fully get close with him. "And when you came into the school...and you didn't seem to like Jeno...he started to change his game tactics."

I turned to look over at Donghyuck as he placed his chin on his own hand, sighing to himself as Jaemin spoke up, "His game tactic to make you the least liked person in this school. Along with Donghyuck... And for him to make sure his father wins the candidacy. And he is going against my father....for the position of the President of the Board of Education."

It felt like that there were two hits towards the skull as everything still was coming together along with puzzles. Donghyuck looked around the beach in order to console his soul as I stared quietly at my hands. All this crazy drama was for the show in order to win the candidacy? Donghyuck got beat like a dead horse, and that was all in order for publicity.

My hands started to clench tightly without me knowing as it reminded of my own situation with my brother. I tried to hide the hands under my table and stared out towards the ocean in order to calm myself. I then felt a hand onto mine, as I jumped a little without another word.

I turned my head slowly to see Jaemin gone from his seat, and Donghycuk staring the other way. The wind gently swept towards my legs and hair as I wished that it would be nice for me to run towards the beach. But I stuck on the chair without another word, as I looked down towards our hands as I then intertwined our hands together. Donghyuck soon moved his head to face mine, as he looked over at me with a smile growing on his face.

As time flew slowly, we just stared without a word at each other as I didn't know what else to say. Our hands stayed close and locked within each other's grasp and he didn't seem like he would look away either. Jaemin soon arrived to the table, as I tried to let go but Donghyuck wouldn't budge. Jaemin laughed at us with a smirk growing on his annoyingly small face as he said aloud, "Wow- a campus couple forming?"

"Oh shut up Jaemin." We both cried out in unison, before all three of us laughed together as a chorus. It didn't feel that bad to be with Donghyuck and Jaemin. It felt even more better than being stuck at school with the ones who wanted to destroy from the outside towards the in.
