I arrived to the school right after the convenience store. Making my way towards the gym, there stood the male that I wanted to talk to. Donghyuck had his hands inside his pockets before turning his head to look over at me. I sighed heavily before making my way over to him. The footsteps echoed along the empty walls of the gym, and the gentle rain patters against the large windows in the gym. He started the conversation first in a hurry, "I'm busy. What did you want to say?"

I got straight to the point, "Why do you deal with that crazy ass? Did you see how he treated his little brother? Why can't you fight against him?"

Donghyuck stayed quiet for a bit before scratching the back of his hair. I noticed this movement easily- he's uncomfortable with what I'm trying to ask.

"Han Ryujin. There are things that you can't always try to know of. You're so nosy, you know that?"

"Is it really because you guys are..."

"For the last time, I'm not gay. Neither is Jeno. There's a reason why that rumor is there and why it's baseless, and why I can't say anything about it. Stop trying to meddle in someone else's personal business. You're making it extremely hard on me."

Donghyuck pleaded quietly as he looked over at me again. His eyes told a different message. "What do you mean by that?"

Donghyuck checked his phone before replying hesitantly, "Not everything you see is the truth. And you need to watch what you say in front of Jeno. Just, stop trying to have interest in me."

I gasped at his comment, as I replied back immediately, "I don't. You're being unreasonable that's why."

Donghyuck shook his head and let out a satisfied, soft chuckle. I think that was one of the genuine actions that I've seen from him. He reached his head over and gently brushed his hand against my hair, making it slightly messy. "Just keep this mind focused on studying and our project. Peace."

He then turned around and headed towards the door. His footsteps were light and quick, as he made a final glance with a bare smile before leaving the gym. I blinked to get a grip on what just happened. I fixed my hair quickly, scrowling to myself since he had to mess up my hair. But I tried to comprehend on what he was saying...

Not everything you see is true.

The rain continued to gently shower against the wet world. It was somewhat washing away the pain that the world held, trying to reveal all the secrets. But the world wouldn't budge. The world wouldn't listen. And the world found it even difficult to keep things a secret, which was frightening.

"Jeno and Donghyuck had to leave school early. Your detention is moved until tomorrow."

Jess and I bowed to our homeroom teacher as we left the teacher office. "Don't you wonder why they aren't doing detention?"

Jess shrugged as I found it annoying on why she never questioned things before. But she spoke up as we arrived to our classroom, "Why do you think Jeno made this project, this group?"

My footsteps automatically halt as she stared mindlessly as the windows and the ceiling.

"What do you mean?"

Jess's focus was finally on me, as she twirled with the ends of her hair as she answered with a questioning tone, "He created this idea, this group, this project. Have you ever wondered why? It's just a presentation, and yet he wanted us to get detention. Wouldn't there be an exact reason why?"

Jess might be a psychology major. She'd fit that crazy job. But she made total sense to me. Was I going crazy too?
