Ok. Hey, guys.

I'd just like to express my feelings about this topic. Please, I hope you all listen carefully and understand what I'm about to say.

I'd like to discuss about a topic that has really gotten on my nerves. It's seiyuu related, promise.

P.S. I'll be using 'seiyuus' instead of 'voice actor' or 'voice actress' since I'm talking about Japanese voice actors and actresses in general.

I hate why seiyuus have to apologize for their personal relationships and keep them a secret.

I mean, okay, I will respect those who really want to keep those things as secrets. But as for those who want to be able to proclaim to the world that they really love their special someone, they can't since it's like some agency rule in voice acting. Idk.

I have seen every seiyuu (that I know who are married or are in a relationship) say sorry to the fans and assure them that their voice acting future will not be affected because of their relationship. I really hate that they have to say sorry.

I mean, could you imagine yourself saying this: "I'm sorry that I fell in love with this person. I'm sorry I'm getting/I got married. I'm sorry that I'm dating/I dated someone. I'm sorry I live/I lived with someone."

These aren't the exact things seiyuus say, but when you analyze the entire text from pages or their official blogs, it's like they're saying that they're sorry they are in or got into a relationship. And for me, this is NOT alright.

Sure, seiyuus managed to keep their relationships a secret, but then when they're getting married, they have to announce it and apologize for it.

Who in the right mind would apologize for loving someone? No one.

These seiyuus are forced to apologize for the fans. Because, believe it or not, guys, there are fans who are very critical when it comes to seiyuu relationships.

I've read an article around last week, it was an old one about Kamiya(Hiroshi)-san. It was when there was a feature in a magazine that he was found carrying a child or something(?). Then he admitted that he's married. And then at the bottom of this blog article, there was even a small feature that talked about fans who STOPPED BEING HIS FANS, JUST BECAUSE HE GOT MARRIED AND HAS A KID.

I saw some social media screenshots saying that they don't want to be Kamiya-san's fan anymore. For me, that was the lowest thing that the fans who 'hated' the fact that Kamiya-san is married and has a child, because let's face it, they will take that back, but as for the lowest of the lowest thing that they did, it was SELLING ALL THEIR KAMIYA HIROSHI MERCHANDISE ONLINE, AND DELETING ALL HIS SONGS, PICTURES, GAMES, ANIMES, AND DRAMA CDs ON THEIR GADGETS (this deleting thing is a rumor, I think, but still, I'm putting it here so you guys are informed. It will stay here unless proven otherwise.).

I was very DEVASTATED to hear/read/see this. I wanted to give some fans a punch in the eye (Sorry). This is seriously WAY OVERBOARD.

I'm sharing this because, I really do not want the fans to do this. I never want to see those traumatizing blogs, posts, tweets, shares, ugh!

Anyways, for those who need inspiration to not do the disrespectful and overrated things above, Seiyuu4Ever and HiroC18 are huge fans of Suzumura(Kenichi)-san and Kamiya(Hiroshi)-san. If you ever need motivation to still continue and support voice actors/actresses who are in a relationship, I hope you guys will think about them. I mean, just from their wattpad profile, you can tell that these two really love those ossans xD
