Two people who met coincidence.

She was an ordinary working woman while he was a well-known voice actor.

Their paths collided and brought them here.

(F/N)'s PoV

I was just taking my break at a nearby okonomiyaki bar when I received a text.

Yo, (L/N)! Are you free tomorrow? Let's hit the ice cream cafe at the ground floor at where you work! I heard the ice cream there is to die for!

I laughed then replied.

Hey, Kakihara. Sorry, I have the entire shift tomorrow. It's my coworker's day off. Maybe the next day :)

Oh, I can't the next day. I have a recording.

Maybe some other time then :)

This happens all the time. We haven't met up since his coincidental visit to the department store that I work at.

I lazily ate the last piece of okonomiyaki on my plate. My phone then rang. I hurriedly answered, thinking it was Kakihara.

"Hello-"

"(F/N)-chan!"

"[old college classmate]? Hey, what's up?" I asked.

"Can you attend the reunion next week?" He asked.

"Uhm, I'll have to check my schedule, but-"

"PLEASE COME PERFORM! WE ARE DESPERATE FOR ENTERTAINMENT! IF YOU'RE BUSY YOU CAN LEAVE IMMEDIATELY AFTERWARDS! JUST PLEASE-"

"Okay, okay. I'll be there. Calm down. Yeah, bye." I said then hung up.

When I was in college I was a really good performer if I do say so myself. People always invited me to perform at school programs, streets, weddings, birthdays, but I only performed for friends and relatives.

And about not having the job of a performer while growing up, that's a whole different story.

The day of the reunion..

I drove my car to my old college. It sure brought back some good memories to be here. I thought as I parked my car. I grabbed my guitar from my trunk then locked my car. It was an electric guitar to be exact.

"Hey, (L/N)!" I heard Kakihara call out.

"Hey!" I said as the two approached me then looked at each other.

"Kakihara, I didn't know you studied here." I said.

"I didn't know you studied here." He said.

"It's a pretty small world we're living in then." I said as we both laughed.

"Hey, (F/N)-chan!" [old college friend's name] called out as he ran over to where Kakihara and I were.

"Kakihara, you and (F/N)-chan are friends?" [old college friend's name] asked.

"Yeah, why?" Kakihara asked.

"It's nothing. Hey, let me help you set up." [old college friend's name] said.

"Okay." I said as I followed him.

"Hey, wait for me!" Kakihara said, but-

"Kakki, my man!"

"Kakihara! I can't believe you became a voice actor!"

"Must be easy to pick up girls now, huh?"

"Hahaha!"

"Should we wait for him?" [old college friend's name] asked.

Kakihara was as popular as ever. Surrounded by all those people who love his job and popularity. I wonder if those people really like him. I shrugged the thought off.

"Nah. Let him be." I said with a smirk.

"Alright. Good morning everyone! It's been so long since we all saw each other. Today, I'd like to perform a song that you guys can all jam to. Guys, let's pretend we're 17 or something fir the moment, yeah? Haha! I'd like to call on Kakihara to the stage." I said then handed him the mic.

"What are you making me do?" He asked, but I just laughed.

"You're going to sing." I said.

"I just recently learned this song especially for our reunion. I heard you guys love it so I did my best to learn it well. So let's blow this party away!" I said then strummed my guitar.

"You really shocked me, (L/N). I didn't know you were such great performer." Kakihara said.

"Thanks." I said as I took a sip of my drink.

"I'm more surprised by Kakihara. I didn't think that a nerd like him would be hella famous and handsome." [old college friend's name] said.

"(F/N)-chan's a natural born performer!" [another old college friend] said as she placed her arm around me.

"You love performing a lot, don't you?" Kakihara asked.

"Well, yeah.." I shyly admitted.

"Here's my card. I'll help you with that if you think you're ready to get down to business." He said as he handed me his card.

"Zynchro?"

"Yeah, it's my own agency." He said.

"It's a voice acting agency.."

"Yeah, but I can still help you. Just send a message to that email. It'll be directly sent to me." He said.

"Thanks. I'll consider your offer." I said with a half-hearted smile.

Kakihara and I left early so we could grab coffee nearby since we have work at night. We skipped our morning work to attend the reunion so now we have to go back to work until late at night.

"Yeah, I think so too."

Kakihara and I were busy chatting even until we arrived at the entrance of the cafe. The held the door open for me.

"Thanks." I said.

"Sure. Let's go find some seats." He said as we walked inside.

But something stopped us.

-"(F/N)-nee!"
-"Tetsu-nii!"

"[younger brother's name], what are you doing here?" I asked.

"[Kakihara's younger sister's name], what are you doing here?" Kakihara asked.

"Eh. Do you two know each other?" My younger brother asked as he pointed at me and Kakihara.

"Yeah, we went to college together." Kakihara answered for me.

"You two know each other?" I asked our younger siblings.

"Yeah." Kakihara's younger sister replied.

"How?" Kakihara asked.

"Through a blind date." My younger brother replied.

"Excuse me, uhm, blind date?" I asked for clarification.

"Yeah, one of my friends set me up." Kakihara's younger sister said.

"So this is the blind date?" Kakihara asked.

"No." My younger brother replied.

"Then what is this?" I asked.

"Tetsu-nii, we've been dating for months now."

"Months?" Kakihara and I both questioned.

I wasn't sure how to feel at that moment. Hearing those things from our younger siblings, but I was sure of one thing.

It definitely is a small world after all.
