八。いいスタート「蒼井翔太」

Today, (L/N) (F/N) is out on a park date with Aoi.

The two are chatting happily just like always. They're definitely much closer than before.

(F/N)'s Pov

Shouta and I were just having a stroll around the park. It's really refreshing to see him out of work. He seems less stressed.

"(F/N)! Look at me! Smile!" He said as he took a picture of me.

I smiled then blushed after he took the picture. He's been taking pictures of me ever since our date started. I'm happy that he wants to have pictures of me in his phone, but I want both of us to be in those pictures. I'm just too embarrassed to tell him that.

Shouta's PoV

(F/N)'s unusually quiet today. She's usually really pumped up to tell me some good news. She's always so eager to tell me something. I wonder what's wrong.

Was it something I said? Something I did? Is it because I've just been taking pictures of her this entire time?

Shyly, I called her name again.

"Hey, (F/N). Let's take a picture together." I said with a smile.

"T-Together? Y-You mean me and you? I-In the same photo?" She asked with a blush.

"It's okay if you don't wa—"

"N-No! I-I want to!" She admitted.

We walked over to the small fountain at the middle of the park. I switched my camera into selfie mode and prepared my phone for the right angle to take the shot.

"(F/N), smile!" I said as I made a 'peace' pose for the selfie. To my surprise, she made the same pose and had a larger grin  on the photo rather than on her solo shots that I took a while ago.

I then looked at her and giggled.

"W-W-What? Y-You never said that I couldn't do the same pose.." she said with a blush.

(F/N) is a really cute girl, but she looks extremely adorable when she's shy.

I reached my hand out to hers and said, "Let's have a little game here at the park."

She hopped onto the stones of the pond as I followed while holding her hand.

"Woah!-"

"Gotcha!" I said as I caught her from slipping on one of the rocks.

"Are you okay?" I asked.

"Mhm." She replied with a reassuring smile.

Then we did a little bit of hopscotch on the pathways of the park.

"Come on, Shouta! You can do it! Reach for it!" She cheered as I hopped the last step with one leg and reached for the rock that I threw.

"Okay! Your turn, (F/N)~!"

We then sat on the swings and chatted for a while. I checked the time on my phone and it was already past eleven.

"I think it's about time we find a place to eat." I suggested.

(F/N)'s PoV

We went inside a small restaurant and had a simple lunch. We chatted about our interests and got to know each other better.

We shared some plates of sushi and I couldn't help but laugh at all his attempts to eat each piece with as much wasabi as I did. He looked really cute whie doing so.

(A/N: I guess reader-chan loves lots of wasabi on her sushi. It's either that or Aoi-san cannot handle wasabi xD)

"(F/N)?" Shouta asked.

"Hm?" I asked as he reached for my hand that was on the table.

"This is a good start, right?" He asked as he held my hand.

"Of course. It's nice to be like this. Let's take it slow and move at our own pace." I reassured.

"Okay. I'm just worried that you might not like what we're doing." He admitted.

"Why? I really enjoy what we're doing. If anyone should be worried, I should. I think I'm not showing must of my interest in the things we do." I shyly admitted as well.

"Let's make a deal. If any of us is troubled, let's be honest and tell each other! That way, none of us have something heavy to carry when we're with each other." He said.

"Okay. Sounds like a plan." I said with a small laugh.

"Deal?" He asked as he let go of my hand and pointed his pinky at me.

"Deal." I said as I wrapped my pinky around his.

Suddenly my phone rang. I was so embarrased since it was 'Futari no Monogram'.

I quickly let go of his pinky and answered. I was still blushing, but said hello.

A few seconds later, his phone rang. I was so shocked since it was me singing 'Marriage' by QUARTET☆NIGHT.

He then looked at me and blushed then answered the call. I guess we like each other a little more than we thought.

After both our calls ended, we stayed silent for a moment.

"I guess this is a sign that this is really a good start.." he said.

"Yeah, I guess so too.." I shyly agreed.

"I have to go back to the agency." He said.

"Me too. I'm finally going to record my first official song." I said excitedly.

"Really? That's great! I'm going to but the first copy when it comes out!" He exclaimed.

"I also have a recording. Well, not really. I'm just recording the background vocal." He said.

"Background vocal? For what?" I asked.

"For [random UtaPri song that he sang backup vocals for]. I sing backup vocal for some UtaPri songs." He replied.

"Wow. That's so cool. I want to be able to do that someday." I said.

"I'm sure you can, but for now, we should head to King." He said as he grabbed my hand and we walked out.

We parted ways as we entered the building.

I immediately went to my designated studio and greeted everyone. I was really glad to be able to see professional staff and hi-tech equipment. I was finally going to record a really clear audio of my own song.

It took about five takes before I got the entire thing recorded. I apologized, but they reassured me that it was no trouble at all and praised me for my hard work. I then excused myself as everyone else was dismissed.

I quickly texted Shouta when I got out.

I just finished recording. I apologized so many times to the staff since I kept failing for a couple of times, but they said it was okay and praised me. I'm relieved ｡ﾟ(ﾟ'ω'ﾟ)ﾟ｡

He then replied after a few seconds.

That's great! ヽ(*＾ω＾*)ﾉ
Meet me at the rooftop! I'm almost done with my recording!

I quickly replied.

Okay! (^^)

I then headed to the roof. The view on top of the agency was pretty amazing. All the city lights looked like stars. It was just sunset but you could see how nice everything shines.

"Hey, did you wait long?" He asked.

"Hi. Nope. I just got here." I replied.

"Here. It's pretty windy out here. Wouldn't want you to catch a cold." He said as he draped his jacket over my shoulders.

"T-Thank you.." I replied.

"The view here is nice, isn't it?" He asked as he smiled at the beautiful city of Tokyo.

"It sure is." I seconded.

"Oi, Shouta! The producer wants to talk to you!" I heard Suzuki-san call out.

"I-I'll be right there!" He said in panic.

"Keep this for me. I'll be right back!" He said then ran off.

He handed me his phone. I accidentally pressed the on button and saw that his wallpaper was the picture that we took a while ago at the park.

I was right. This is a really good start.
