(L/N)'s PoV

"What? Amusement park? Today?" I asked thorugh the phone.

"Yeah, it's gonna be fun, I promise! I heard this amusement park is really famous here!" Masuda persuaded.

"But I have to open my shop-"

"Just close it for today. Come on. It's not everyday you go to an amusement park!" He continued to persuade.

I sighed, "You won't stop until I say 'yes', won't you?"

"Nope." He said in a semi-cheerful tone.

"Okay. I'll be ready in 10 minutes." I said.

"Great! I'll see you outside your apartment!" He said then hung up.

Seriously, that Masuda is such a drag.

I simply ignored that thought afterwards and started getting ready.

Just as I stood up from my bed, my phone rang again. I angrily answered.

"WHAT DO YOU WANT???"

"Uhm, (F/N)-chan, this is [old classmate's name]."

"Woah, woah! Hey! It's been, uhm, eight years?" I asked.

"Yeah, pretty much. So I heard you've opened an okonomiyaki cart. Is it open today?" He asked.

"Well, unfortunately it isn't. I have plans for today, but I'll be able to open by tomorrow." I replied.

"Great. I'm gonna go bring the guys there. See ya, (F/N)-chan." He bid then hung up.

Well that was weird. My classmates from high school never call me. Only my university friends contact me nowadays. I wonder what's up.

I just shrugged the thought off and started preparing for our little 'outing'.

"Wow, the line's really long." I said.

"Mhm but it's going pretty fast so everyone waiting in line is in a good mood." Masuda replied.

After we had our tickets validated and our hands stamped, we entered the place and it sure was packed.

"I haven't seen this many people before in my life." I said, amazed by the view.

I made it sound like I was excited even though I was actually scared that I might not find my way out.

Masuda then suddenly held my hand.

"Hey-"

"There's lots of people so hold on tightly. I wouldn't want you to get lost." He said with a smile.

"O-Okay.." I said then tightened my grip onto his hand.

"So, where do you wanna go first?"

After going on a couple of rides, we decided to go have lunch. It was pretty late though since it was already two in the afternoon.

"Excuse me." A man behind me said.

"Ah, sorry.-" I said but he bumped into me as he passed through the crowd.

Masuda then suddenly pulled me closer to him. He had a serious look on his face.

Okay, I really don't understand anymore. I can't tell if he's just going with the flow, trying to prove himself, or he really actually likes me. I don't get what kind of signal he's trying to give. But one thing's for sure, I've really started to see him differently. Maybe I do like him a bit but just until like. That's it.

I actually can't tell if this is a real date or not either.

As these things jumbled in my thoughts, the server called us to take our seat inside.

Gosh, I need to forget about this. I'll just relax and not think of this 'outing' as anything special.

After eating, we rushed out since the rule of the restaurant is to leave immediately after finishing your meal because their business is pretty much booming but they have limited seats.

"Hey, uhm, wait here. I'll just go to the bathroom." Masuda said as he left me outside the comfort rooms.

I patiently waited for him to come back.

Actually, it would be better if he didn't come back since I'm already confused with him too much.

"Hey, lady. Whatcha doin' here?"

Oh crap.

"Well, I'm waiting for my boyfriend."

What the heck, (F/N)?!?

"Really? I hear that lame excuse every time." He said as he kabedon-ed me to the wall.

"Hey, dude. Don't get near my girlfriend. And don't hit on her either."

Masuda?

"Crap. So you were telling the truth. Sorry, man." The guy said in a shady tone before running off.

Damn.

"Hey, you okay?" Masuda asked as he looked at me with a serious face.

"Uh, yeah. He didn't do anything." I replied.

"-yet. He could've done something if you just stood there." He said.

"I could've defended myself." I said.

"Upto what point?" He asked.

I sighed, "whatever.. thanks." I said as I looked away.

"Yeah, sure.." he replied.

Then dead air arose between us.

"Ehem. Anyways, it's getting a little late. Is there anything else you want to do or ride?" He asked.

"Uhm, not really. You can pick." I replied.

"Hmm.. okay, let's just ride the ferris wheel." He said as he grabbed my hand and headed to the ride's direction.

The ride was pretty awkward and embarrassing since it was just the two of us inside a cable car. (A/N: idk what you call that single-closed shelter looking-thingy on a ferris wheel.)

Looks like my plan failed. I was totally unable to not think of this as a date. A warm feeling arose as I spent the entire day with him and I'm pretty sure those were my feelings for him.

I wonder what I should do now. This warmth. I feel it's not enough.

Masuda's PoV

"Gosh, I'm going to fall asleep in here." I said then sighed.

I then felt some extra weight on my shoulder. Ah, (F/N) fell asleep.

"Darn.. I really can't tell what you feel about me. I know that you clearly see that I like you, but I just can't read you... huh. And seriously? Saying I'm your boyfriend? You just confuse me even more." I said then sighed.

I let her head rest on my shoulder then kissed her forehead.

"I guess it's about time I gave up."
