五。わがまま 「蒼井翔太」

After our week of vacation at Hokkaido, we went back for the Merge-company event.

We had a lot of fun there. The fans were really pumped up and excited as we were.

The problem is.. rain started to fall hard by nine thirty.

It was when QUARTET☆NIGHT was performing 'Evolution Eve'.

We had a short break first due to that. We had a meeting backstage.

"Hey, it's the holidays. The fans would want to be at home at a time like this. It's the only place they feel safe." Ono(Kensho)-san said.

"Yeah, but they'd be disappointed if we just suddenly cancel this." Shouta said.

"How about we go sing a few more songs before we let them go?" KENN-san asked.

"But what if the rain falls harder? They couldn't possibly go home at that rate." Hosoya-san said.

"Maybe when the event is over, the rain will stop." Kakihara-san said.

"How are we sure that it will stop? It could still be raining or the rain could fall harder." Ousaka-san said.

"Guys, the rain looks tougher than how we hear it." Shimono-san said as he rushed back in from checking how it looks outside.

"Some trains have stopped too. What do we do now?" Taniyama-san said as he continued scrolling the weather reports on the net.

"Morikubo-san and Suzuki-san are trying to explain the situation to the fans." I said.

"We just told the directors. He just said to leave this to the staff." Maeno-san said as he and Toriumi-san arrived backstage from a phone call with our directors.

"This is some holiday crisis we got here." Suzumura-san said.

I thought long and hard then made a decision.

"Guys, let's hand out the souvenirs and let them go home. We'll just continue the event on the 2nd. This is not going to work out with any other way." I said.

"Okay. She has a point. Go announce the news." Okamoto-san said as he handed me a mic and one of the souvenirs.

I went onstage again and spoke to the fans.

"Hey, guys. I know that this is really unfortunate since all of us were really looking forward to this event, but please, everyone, we'd like you to go home. We're giving out the souvenirs which are actually umbrellas with a print of all of our signatures. Please use them to get home safely. And for sure security, when you get home, please tweet me. I'll like the tweet to make sure that I've read it. Sorry guys. Thank you for understanding. Good night, be safe everyone!" I said then went backstage again.

"Now, the question is how are we going to get home?" Namikawa-san asked.

"We could go to a hotel or stay overnight with someone who's place is nearby." Kimura-san suggested.

"My place is nearby. I just live with my dog so I have room for two." Suwabe-san said.

"My house is about a few blocks away. I have room for three." Taniyama-san said.

"I have room for two as well." Miyano-san said.

"I have room for one." Ono(Yuki)-san said.

"I have room for two." Kaji-san said.

"I only have room for one." Morohoshi-san said.

"It's okay, Nazuka-san can have it. I can always rent a hotel room." I said.

Everyone then hailed their cabs and went to where they'd be staying for the night.

Suddenly, someone tapped my shoulder. I looked back to face him and I was surprised to see that it was him.

"Shouta? What are you doing here? Go home. Your apartment is just over there." I pointed to the tall building about a block or two away from us.

"I don't want to leave you here and I don't think it's okay to stay at a hotel on your own." He said as he opened his umbrella and grabbed my hand.

"It'll be okay. It's just for one night." I said.

"Just stay with me for the night, please~ I promise I won't do anything funny." He said.

"You idiot, I'm not worried that you'll pull a stunt on me. I'm worried that I'll be a drag at your place." I said.

"No need to worry, (F/N). You are never a bother. Besides, you'll be visiting often so might as well get used to it!" He said as he pulled me and we crossed the street heading to his place.

I'm at his place right now, and it's really awkward. I just took a bath, since we both got soaked from the very heavy rain, and I'm wearing his shirt and sitting on his bed.

I really feel so nervous like my heart is going to explode. Shouta's really trying to make me feel at home.

When I arrived, he offered me a pair of extra slippers. Then he handed me a towel and his shirt and told me to shower first. When I came out of the shower, his apartment heater was already open. After he came out of the shower, he offered to make me a drink. Right now, he's making tea for the two of us.

"You know, Shouta. You don't have to do all of this. It's okay, really." I said.

"But I want to. I'm just really nervous. I want to make sure that you're not cold. The rain was pretty hard and we got wet a lot." He said as he walked over to me and handed me a cup of tea.

"Thank you." I said as I accepted it.

"(F/N)," Shouta called as he sat next to me on his bed.

"Yeah?" I asked then took a sip of the tea that he gave me.

"Are you still cold?" He asked.

I shyly nodded in response.

"Wanna go cuddle under the sheets and watch anime?" He suggested.

I faced him and nodded.

We then stood up and moved to the middle of the bed.

"Shouta, scoot closer~ Please~" I said as I rested my head on his shoulder.

"Okay. Hehe." He said as he moved closer to me.

"Hey, Shouta,.. Am I being too clingy?" I asked.

"Nope. That's a good, (F/N). I'm worried that I'm too clingy. If (F/N) is selfish with me, then it's okay. Because I want to make (F/N) happy." He said.

"Thank you.." I said.

"Hey, uhm, can you close your eyes for a moment? There's just something I'd like to do." He said.

"Okay." I said as I slowly shut my eyes.

The moment I did, his warm and chapped lips connected with mine.

I was taken aback at first, but then I slowly eased into the kiss.

"I guess it's okay to be a little selfish.." I thought as I slowly felt the warmth of our kiss devour the cold sensation that I felt moments ago.
