And so, after days, weeks, and months of asking me to be his girlfriend, I finally said yes.

He seemed to look like the happiest man alive when I did. Somehow, it made me really happy as well.

After becoming his girlfriend, I started taking two jobs so I could have enough funds during dates. He's a voice actor, he's heck rich and I'm trying to survive by being a saleslady and a restaurant singer. I have to do my best so I can at least spend more. I'm really embarrassed when he treats me and tells me not to pay. I hope now that I'm taking two jobs, I could pay back the favor.

Today, I was work at the restaurant where I perform. I just performed a few songs now. It was finally break so I went to the extra room where they keep my equipment to check my phone. I saw a text from Kakihara.

Hey, how's it going, Ms. performer? Wanna have lunch? I'm just around the block :)

I smiled then replied.

Sure. I'll just pack up. Just go to the restaurant and text me the directions.

He immediately answered.

No way. I am standing right here. Outside. Waiting for you.

Fine, fine.

I texted back then grabbed my bag and bid myself out to the owner.

"Hey, did you wait long?" I asked as I smiled and greeted him with a hug.

"Nope. Let's go." He said as he held my hand while we walked to the restaurant.

"So, hey, uhm, ever since we became boyfriend and girlfriend, we haven't been meeting much. Aren't we supposed to meet more, now that we are boyfriend and girlfriend?" He asked.

"Yeah, I'm sorry. I don't have any schedules next week so I'm completely free. I'm just extremely busy this week. Sorry." I said.

"Hehe. It's fine. I'm glad you're working hard, but don't exert yourself too much." He said.

"Okay. I'm buying lunch today, okay?" I said.

"No, no. You go and use your hard-earned money and buy what you want." He declined.

"But-"

"Didn't you say that when I become your boyfriend, you'll let me spend for you? I'm just going by your word, (F/N)." He said.

"Fine, but wait- (F/N)?" I questioned.

"Why? You're my girlfriend now. You should call me Tetsuya too." He said as he held my hand.

"W-What?"

"Well, actually I haven't even heard you call me Kakki. All my friends call me that. You're the only one who calls me Kakihara and you're my girlfriend." He said.

"So what if I'm your girlfriend?" I asked.

"You should be able to casually call me by my name since you're supposed to be the person closest to me." He said.

"No thanks. Kakihara is fine with me." I said.

"Fine~" he said with a pout.

And so after that lunch we had together, I haven't been able to contact him all week except for a few calls and texts.

These days, I can't help but remember what happened at Kakihara's house when he was drunk. That scene always replays in my mind. He said that he loves me, but I haven't really heard him say it yet. And that fact bugs me a lot.

Today, I asked permission from the manager of the department store if I could go home early. She agreed. I immediately went to the bus station hoping I wouldn't get home too late. I have to catch the live streaming. I can't miss it.

Kakihara's PoV

Tonight, I was at unison. I've been pretty busy all day because of a recording so I haven't talked to (F/N) yet. I need to hurry and finish this show so I can call her and apologize.

"Okay. We're rolling in 3, 2, 1. Go." The cameraman said.

"Hello. Good evening everyone. It's Kakihara Tetsuya. How are you guys? I hope you're all safely at home. For those listening to this on the radio in their car, I hope you're all driving home safely, and for those streaming this at home, sit back, relax, and enjoy." I said.

Then one of the staffs was handing me a box.

"Oh, what's this? It's a gift? From who?" I asked as I accepted the box then shook it.

I opened the box and saw an envelope and a smaller box inside.

"Okay, so we have an envelope and a box inside the large box. Let's see what's in the envelope." I said.

I opened the envelope to see a letter. It was the most familiar handwriting to me. I smiled then read the letter.

"To: Kakihara,
Hey, it's me, (F/N). I don't really know what to write here so I just welled up my feelings and wrote this. Kakihara Tetsuya, I don't know why, but.. I love you. Do you remember the time when we ate out with Namikawa-san, Murase-kun, and Nobu-kun for dinner? You got drunk that night. You called me the next morning and asked how you got to your apartment. I told you that Murase-kun brought you there. Well, that was a lie." I said.

The staff then gestured for me to keep reading.

"The truth is, I brought you home. You were completely wasted at that time. You didn't want me to leave. When I almost had my hand on the doorknob, you hugged me tight so I wouldn't go. When I faced you, you said that you loved me and that you have fallen in love with me ever since we first met. Then, you suddenly kissed me and then you fell on my shoulder. I didn't know how to face that situation back then. You were wasted. How would I know if those words were real? But now, even if I still don't know what you really feel for me, I'm still telling you that I love you. I don't know when I started falling in love with you, but I did know that ever since I saw your smile, I couldn't help but smile back... oh my gosh, I'm going to cry. Hahaha." I said as I wiped the small tears on the edge of my eyes as the staff laughed along with me.

"Whenever you'd bring me out on dates, you always plan ahead with me on your mind. Whenever you'd pick a restaurant, you always pick the ones you think that I'd want. You've always put me first in our relationship. You've even told me to put myself first before our relationship, and so I did. You told me to go but something nice for myself when my pay comes out. I did but something. I bought a cool necklace for my awesome boyfriend. I hope you like it even though it still might be cheap for you. Thank you for always putting me before you, but please, I hope you'll soon consider things for both me and you. That's all. Good night, Tetsuya." I said as I folded the letter and placed it back into the envelope.

I wiped my eyes then laughed. I then spoke after putting everything back into the large box.

"Uhm, hahaha. (F/N), thank you for this. Haha. And uhm, I love you too. Hahaha."

30 minutes later...

(F/N)'s PoV

"Ah. That was so embarrassing." I said as I closed my laptop.

I just finished watching the entire streaming. I don't think I can face him anymore. He probably thought I was awkward or something. Did I force him out to say that he loves me? Oh, maybe I made him mad by using my pay to buy him something. Oh gosh. I really can't face him now.

A few minutes after I was thinking of that, there was a knock on my door. I calmly opened it, but widened my eyes as I saw him standing outside.

"K-Kakihara—"

"(F/N), you are a crazy woman." He said as he hugged me and spun me around.

"K-Kakihara!—"

He then suddenly kissed me. I slowly closed my eyes and kissed back.

"Ah, I love you, really, stupid (F/N)." He said as he hugged me tighter.

And so our live started there. I promise you this, Tetsuya.. I will do everything I can for me and you.
