Ever since that overnight stay that I had at Shouta's place, we've been more open with each other.

Shouta's been acting more close with me and I like that. Work seems more fun. It's still busy, but less stressful than before.

Today, we were out for lunch with Miyano-san, Terashima-san, Shimono-san, and Sawashiro-san.

We were having lunch at a [random cuisine] restaurant.

"I see, so Aoi-kun and (L/N)-san got involved in a scandal?" Sawashiro-san asked.

"Yes, but it was resolved and the matter was not brought up again." I said.

We were just catching up from the last time that we saw each other. It's not everyday that we get the chance to talk like this so I think it's something relaxing as well.

"Shouta-kun and (F/N)-chan are a really cute couple, aren't they?" Terashima-san said.

I just blushed and laughed it off along with Shouta.

"(F/N)'s actually a really polite girl and Shouta's a really kind boy. That's a good match we have here!" Shimono-san said.

"Hey, mind if we barge in?" Suzuki-san asked as he, Morikubo-san, and Maeno-san entered the restaurant.

"The more the merrier!" Miyano-san exclaimed.

"Hey, it's almost your one-year anniversary, right?" Morikubo-san asked.

"Yeah." I replied.

"Got any special plans? I don't know like maybe staying at a hotel and you know.." Suzuki-san said as we both choked on our drink.

"Now you've put them on the spot! Hahaha!" Shimono-san said as everyone laughed.

I swear if Suzuki-san wasn't such a nice person, his head would be hanging by the wall near my fireplace.

Everyone has been asking us questions and trying to find one that we could not answer. They've been pushing us, but so far we haven't budged until now.

".. w-we decided to take things slow." Shouta suddenly said.

"We're just going to follow our own pace." He said.

Everyone had their eyes on Shouta. I was very shocked myself, but built up the courage to defend his statement.

"Y-Yes, that's right. We decided to talk about these things when we think it's the best time to talk about them." I said.

".. man,.. I thought I finally got you two speechless. Haha! My loss!" Suzuki-san said as everyone slow-clapped at our 'speech'.

After lunch, Shouta and I went back to work. As we were walking I suddenly felt light-headed and my legs immediately lost its composure.

"Uwah! (F/N)! Are you okay?" Shouta asked as he catched me and put my around his shoulder to support me.

"I feel dizzy. It feels so cold.." I said as I felt myself grow weaker.

Shouta then put his hand on my forehead.

"Woah, woah! You're burning up! Let's get you to my place. I'll explain to the agency later." He said as he carried me off the ground and started running to his apartment (which is near the agency so it's very convenient).

"Achoo!" Another sneeze was heard from his apartment.

"I'm so sorry, Shouta. Urgh!" I said then groaned from irritation.

I was in his bed, tucked tight and warm. Shouta was making me a bowl of soup in his mini-kitchen.

"It's alright, (F/N). Next time, if you're not feeling well, please tell me. I swear I almost had a heart attack, (F/N). You looked so pale. I didn't know what to do!" He said as he walked over to me and sat next to me on the bed.

"I'm sorry.." I said then opened my arms to gesture a hug.

He then hugged me and gave me a kiss on the forehead then stood up.

"I'll go get your soup." He said as he patted my head then went to the kitchen.

"No~~~ Me. Want. Cuddle.~~" I said with a pout.

"Cuddle after soup and medicine." He said.

"Mkay~" I said.

".. Shouta,.. I love you, but.. I don't have a broken hand or arm. I can feed myself." I said calmly though I was face-palming inside.

"But I want to pamper you, (F/N)! You're sick so I want to take care of you! Now open up!" He said as he tried to feed me the soup.

"No!" I said as I faced the other way.

"(F/N), please! I don't want to tire you so I want to feed you myself." He said.

I sighed then faced him and opened my mouth. I silently let him feed me the soup.

He was already too sweet and kind yet he can still be much more gentlemanly than he already is. He always goes to such extent for me. I've always been thankful for him being in my life.

After feeding me soup, he gave me cold medicine then as promised we cuddled in bed.

"Shouta?" I asked.

"Yes?" He asked.

"I know that the new year has already passed, but.. please take good care of me this year.." I said as I looked into his eyes.

"Same here. Please take good care of me this year." He said as he pressed our foreheads together.

We smiled then shared a loving kiss in the comfort of his apartment.
