It was a calm afternoon at Japan. People walking on streets, eating street food, happily shopping.. yet it shows otherwise at the airport.

"Kakihara-san! Notice me!"

"It's Kakki! Look, it's Kakki!"

The fans were very pumped up from his arrival from Germany.

"Hello, everyone." He said calmly with a small smile as he continued rushing forward to claim his baggage.

He then accidentally bumped into a girl.

"I'm sorry!" She said in English.

"Sorry." He replied in English as well.

A week later..

"[friend's name], where are we?" (F/N) asked.

"We're at an anime event." She answered.

"What?" She asked again, but [friend's name] just put her finger on top of her lips, signaling to keep quiet.

(F/N) sighed, but stood there and watched.

"Hello everyone! And welcome to-"

"Makai Ouji's Live Event!"

When the event was over...

"Darn that, [friend's name]. Leaving me here. Running off with her boyfriend when he called. Now how am I supposed to get out?" (F/N) thought.

"Excuse me, excuse me, excuse me." She said as she walked in between a few people to get to the exit.

She then tripped on her way out.

"Ah-"

"Woah, there." A familiar voice spoke.

The two looked at each other.

"Thank you." She said as he helped her up.

"You're welcome. You were the girl I bumped into at the airport, right?" He asked.

"Yeah." She replied.

"You spoke English back then, are you half American?" He asked.

"Ah, no. I was born and raised at LA. How about you?" She asked.

"I was born and raised in Germany. My English isn't as fluent as my German." He said.

"But still, I think you spoke like an American. It was quite impressive. You looked a bit like a foreigner so I spoke to you in English." She said.

"Thanks." He said as he scratched the back of his neck and smiled.

"He has a really cute smile." She thought.

"Yo! Kakki! Come on, let's go eat!" Terashima called out.

"Oh, yeah, coming! Sorry. I gotta go. Hope to see you again." He bid then ran off to where Terashima was.

"Tch. As if I could see him again." (F/N) thought.

A month later...

"Tori-san, I think that one looks nice." Kakihara said as he pointed at a well displayed tuxedo.

Kakihara, Toriumi, and Suzumura were walking around the mall. They were helping Toriumi find a suit.

"Oh, yeah. Let's check that out." Suzumura said.

The three entered the store and checked the tuxedo. A woman then approached them.

"Hello. What may I assist you with?-"

(F/N) then gasped as she saw his face.

"Uh, hi." He said.

The two stared at each other for quite some time.

"Uhm, do you know each other?" Suzumura asked.

"Ah, well we just met a few times." Kakihara said.

"Twice to be exact." (F/N) said.

"Excuse me, can I have this style in my size?" Toriumi asked.

"Right away, sir." (F/N) said as she went to check the stocks.

As they were paying...

"(L/N)-chan, you can have your break after that." (F/N)'s coworker said.

"Alright." (F/N) replied.

"Would you like to join us for lunch?" Suzumura asked her.

"Uhm,.."

"It's alright. Any friend if Kakki's is a friend of ours." Toriumi said.

(F/N) hesitantly agreed.

And so the four walked out of the mall together.

As if on perfect timing, Toriumi and Suzumura could not have lunch with them.

Suzumura's wife called him and said that there was something he needed to fix at home.

Toriumi on the other hand had to go back to his agency for an urgent meeting.

So Kakihara and (F/N) were left to eat at a nearby restaurant. Just the two of them.

The two awkwardly sat there and waited for their food to come out.

(F/N)'s PoV

"A-Ah, I'm Kakihara Tetsuya by the way." He said as he reached his hand out for me to shake.

"I'm (L/N) (F/N). Nice to meet you." I said as I shook his hand.

"I work as a voice actor. You?" He asked as he retrieved his hand.

"I'm a saleslady." I replied and retrieved mine.

"Are you a fan of mine?" He asked.

"Why would you think that?" I asked.

"Cause you were at the live of Makai Ouji?"

"Ah, that's because my friend had no one to bring to the event so she dragged me. She said that she was going just so she could see someone named Terashii. She invited me, but then left me alone when her boyfriend came. She rushed out the door and left me in the middle of the insane crowd of fans." I said.

"Haha. If I were you, I would've freaked out and ran after her. I'd swim through the crowd of fans just to get to my friend." He said.

"I doubt it. I'm sure your fans would immediately clear the floor so you could walk freely." I said.

"Probably haha!" He said with a smile.

Darn it. It's that charming smile again.

"I actually thought that I couldn't see you again." I said.

"Me too. I didn't even think of giving you my number or something, yet I was so confident that I'd see you again." He said.

"I guess it's fate?"

"Probably." He said.

We then laughed at that fact. Our food soon came and more chatting was heard from our table. Perhaps the two of us bumping into each other a few times was sort of a fated meeting. Somehow, I felt that we were bound to see each other again and I'd look forward to having more conversations with him.. and seeing his 100 karat smile.
