Two years later...

"So, you are saying that this child is two months old."

"Yes."

"And it's yours?"

"Yes."

"And Nobu is your husband?"

"Oh my gosh, [cousin's name]. You are embarrassing me right now." I said with a face-palm.

You see, two years ago, Nobu and I secretly got married. He announced it on his blog, but he revealed no pictures of me, nor my name. He just said that he got married. He announced on his blog that our first child was born too.

Now, my cousin, she's a big fan of Nobu. She's eight years younger than me so it's really embarrassing when I hear her call Nobu by his name.

"Hey, it's okay. I don't mind." Nobu said as he placed his hands on my shoulders.

"I really can't believe that we're adults, nee-san." My younger male cousin said.

"Well, I guess we did grow up pretty fast. I was technically living the life of an adult even as a teenager so, I guess my teenage life was spent.. unusually." I said.

"That's fine. I changed a lot and you guys didn't get to see the me that I am now. We didn't really have a chance to say goodbye to each other did we?" My other younger male cousin said.

So, let me further explain the situation. When I was a kid, I was really close with my cousins. I was the first to leave our group since I had to work. Then the rest of them left to work as well. It was hard for all of us, but we just accepted that our life was starting to change.

"At least, we're together now, right?" I asked.

"Yeah. We all have families now." My younger female cousin said.

"I hope all our kids become friends when they grow up." My younger male cousin said.

"All of us do." My other younger male cousin said.

And so after meeting up with my cousins, Nobu and I went back to our house.

Yes, we just saved up a lot to buy a real house that was just for the two of us and our future family.

"Nobu, are you afraid of change?" I asked as I placed my sleeping child in [his/her] crib.

"Yeah, but it's a part of life. It happens. It's always there to interrupt the happy things in life. It can either make those things happier or worse." He said as he walked out of [child's name's room].

"I know, but it just seems unfair that we can't do the things we did before,.. that we can't enjoy how our life was before.. I might sound crazy stupid right now but.. I don't know why I can't just adapt to change." I said as I closed the door as I walked out as well.

Nobu then sighed.

"I guess I did take our relationship a little too fast. Sorry about that."

"No, it's alright. We were both afraid of what could happen. We let our relationship slip before so we were afraid to lose each other. I understand that." I said.

"But I'm glad that I've experienced most of my life with you. You made me achieve everything I wanted to be. I became a voice actor, I became famous, I have a kid. I wouldn't ask for anything more." He said.

"I'm glad that I helped you. I'm glad I'm a part of your life. Despite all the craziness I've been through, one thing that I've haven't regretted is falling in love with you." I said.

"Me too. I'm sorry that I wasn't able to make our relationship work well, and I sorry for all the changes and mishaps you had to go through bur,.. I promise you, something won't ever change." He said.

"And what's that?" I asked.

"Duh? My love for you, (F/N)." He said as he wrapped me in an embrace.

"Haha. Thanks, Nobu. I love you too." I said as I hugged him back.

"No you don't. You loved Hikaru. You replaced me with my own fictional character." He replied bluntly.

"Oh please, that was one time." I said in an irritated tone.

"I don't believe you."

"Fine."

"But if you kiss me, I'll believe you."

"Oh gosh. This again? Nobu, you're already my husband and you still act like this." I said with a look of disappointment.

"Well, it's not everyday that I can just tease you like thi—"

I just cut him off by grabbing his collar and pressing my lips onto his. I feel so blessed to be living with him. He's definitely the one for me, cause I know that his love for me... it will never change.

We were strangers just back then,
We were friends afterwards.
After that, we fell for each other,
And became lovebirds.

I will never forget the first time you said that you loved me.
