Guys, I was so lucky to have this picture saved in my draft. I'm glad that Kakihara-san's feature didn't end with a blank visual. I feel so relieved.

I'm just disappointed that Okamoto-san's start won't have any visual T-T

Two years later...

"Wow, so you're our Tetsuya's girlfriend? I'm glad! Thank you for taking care of him for the past three years!"

"Mom, she can speak Japanese! And you're embarrassing me by speaking in English!"

I laughed.

"No problem, Mrs. Kakihara. Your Tetsuya has been a good boy! Haha! Now I know where he picks his English up from. You're really good at English, Mrs. Kakihara! You've raised your son so well!" I said.

Right now, Tetsuya and I are at his parents' place. Yes, we're here at Germany. A year ago, we moved to Germany. Yes, we're living together. It's been a good year, but we'll be goimg back in a few months since Tetsuya still works there. No, I didn't get a job here at Germany since he wouldn't let me so I did all the housework instead.

"Really? I'm glad you think so, haha. Hey, you're pretty good at Japanese. You were born and raised in LA, right?" His mom asked.

"Yes. Ah, really? Thank you. Yes, but I studied college at Japan and majored in Japanese." I said.

"(F/N), I like you. Why haven't you married my son yet? You're both almost in your forties. Did you bust him? Is he not good enough? I can groom him into a better man-"

"Dad!" Tetsuya whined with an embarrassed look.

"No, no, it's not that, Mr. Kakihara." I said with a flustered look.

"Then what is it?" His mom asked.

"Well,.. I haven't really asked her that.. yet... formally." Tetsuya embarrassingly said.

"Oh,.. I see.. my bad! Haha!" Tetsuya's dad said.

And so after having a weird visit to Tetsuya's parents' house, we had a weird atmosphere at home.

"(F/N)?" Tetsuya called from the bedroom of our apartment as he was walking.

"Yeah?" I said as I continued washing the dishes from our kitchen.

"You know,.. if you ever think you're ready or you finally want to, I still have the ring in my dresser. I'm not forcing you. I still don't know yet either if I want to get married, but as you said, I won't wait for my future, I'll let my future wait for me." He said with a smile as he wrapped his arms around my waist and rested his chin on my shoulder.

"Yeah, yeah. What do you want for dinner?" I asked.

"Cup ramen, please. I don't want to see any dishes in the sink because they keep torturing your soft hands. I'm gonna take a shower." He said as he walked to the bathroom.

After washing the dishes, then boiling some water for instant ramen, I sat on our bed and opened Tetsuya's dresser.

"Is this the life I want?" I asked as I opened the small box and stared at the shining piece of jewelry.

I was already pouring the hot water into the cups when Tetsuya got out of the bathroom.

"Hey. Looks like I got out on right timing." He said as he walked to the kitchen.

Oh, yes he did.

"Ow!" I said as I let go of the kettle that I boiled hot water.

"Hey! Are you okay!?" Tetsuya panicked and immediately touched my hand.

"No. Ah, it stings!" I faked.

"W-Where does it hurt!?" He panicked.

"Here. Ow!" I said as I pointed at my pinky finger.

"Let me see.." he said as he took my left hand.

I immediately saw his expression change after seeing it.

"Hahaha! Gotcha! Hahaha, I'm sorry! I thought it would be a good joke." I said.

"Y-You're wearing the ring!" He said as he backed away from shock.

"Uhm, yeah.." I awkwardly replied.

"S-So you're marrying me?!?" He asked.

"Tetsuya, you really sound like the girl in the relationship right now." I said as I crossed my arms and gave him a weirded out look.

"I promise I'll be really really good to you." He said as he hugged me.

"Mhm. You should." I joked as I hugged him back.

"But you should promise me one thing too." He said.

"What is it?" I asked.

"Depend on me. Completely."

Tears flowed from my eyes, but I nodded as I hugged him tighter.

"Promise me another thing." I said in between tears as I pulled away from the hug.

"Anything." He said.

"Our new home should be a good home.. a place of no regrets.." I said.

"I promise.. you won't ever regret living with me. Hey, stop crying. If you don't stop, I'll kiss you." He said as he wiped my tears.

But I couldn't help and just cry because I was really glad that Tetsuya was still thinking of me before himself even until today. He's really the best guy I know.

"Alright. You asked for it." He said then placed his right hand on my cheek then wiped away my tears before pressing his lips against mine.

Your presence is by far,
the most important thing to me,
When I'm with you,
there's nothing else I need.
