Two years later..

"Wait, wait. So you've been dating for three years?" My mom asked us for the hundreth time.

"Yes. We've had our ups and downs and took the relationship with our pace and it brought us here today." I said.

"Son, have you no plans of marrying her?" My dad asked and I just face-palmed.

"We just want to enjoy being single adults for the while. Hehe. But I have had that in mind." He shyly replied.

Apparently, my parents are putting us on the spot. Especially Shouta.

We really have thought about marriage, but we decided that it's not yet time.

Currently, Shouta's a very very very famous voice actor now. He's had so many roles and as many auditions as well. He's released quite a lot of singles and albums as well.

As for me, I've been touring. Yes, you heard right. I requested a tour since I wanted all my fans worldwide to be able to experience seeing me live.

We're both really busy. Today was one of the days that I had a concert in Tokyo so by chance, we were able to meet up and head to my parents' place.

Tomorrow is my last day at Japan, I go back to touring other countries after that.

After we visited my parents, we went back to his apartment.

"I really can't believe that you'll be out of this apartment again after tomorrow." Shouta said with a pout.

"Sorry. I promise I'll but lots and lots of souvenirs for you when I get back!" I said.

"But I want (F/N)!" He exclaimed.

"(F/N) wants Shouta too, but (F/N) is working to earn money so she and Shouta will have enough funds for future use." I said as I placed my hands on his face.

He sighed then replied.

".. I don't know how much longer I can handle this." He said as he placed his hands on mine.

Shouta and I have been in a long-distance relationship almost for the past two years. It's been really hard for us.

Even now that I'm with him, all I can do is say sorry and cry.

By the time I realized that I actually fell asleep, it was already dinner time.

Shouta actually carried me to his bed.

When I stood up, I accidentally stepped on a small box.

I picked it up. Shouta then walked out of the bathroom at that moment.

"Is this yours?" I asked.

"Nope." He said as he walked over to me.

"Then whose is it?" I asked.

"I don't know. Try opening it." He said.

As instructed, I opened the dark velvet box. There was a small piece of paper on top. I opened the note.

Tears streamed down from my eyes as I read what had been written inside.

I don't want to be separated from you ever again. (L/N) (F/N), please, just marry me already.

I looked back at the velvet box to see a beautiful silver ring. Shouta gently took the ring out of the box and kneeled in front of me.

"Of course I'll marry you, you idiot!" I said while tears were still falling from my eyes.

He slid the ring onto my finger and hugged me tight. Then planted kisses all over my face.

"I won't let you go anywhere without me." He said as he nuzzled his face into my neck.

"I have no plans to go anywhere. My place.. is next to you." I said.

That night, I found a bright new beginning to experience with Shouta.

From this day forth, you shall never be alone.
My heart will be your shelter, and my arms will be your home.
