A few moments ago, Kakihara and I arrived at a cafe to enjoy a nice cup of coffee and chat. By chance, we stumbled upon our siblings who were actually on a date. And this is what's happening right now.

"I'm sorry. You can't date my sister." Kakihara flatly told my brother.

"Tetsu-nii-"

"Mister, how come you never told me any of this?" I asked as I crossed my arms and looked at my younger brother.

"B-Because I know you'd never let this happen.." he said.

I shook my head in disappointment.

"I am taking you home, right now." Kakihara said as he grabbed his sister's hand.

"You're going back to your apartment too, mister." I said as I grabbed my younger brother's hand.

After letting our siblings get into our own cars. We stood outside to talk for a while.

Kakihara slammed his car door then sighed.

"Why the heck would you let him date my sister?" He asked.

Wow. Is he seriously picking a fight with me? Right now? When I'm so mad at my brother?

"Look, pal. I didn't even know that he was datimg someone, I didn't know about the blind date, I didn't know anything! How was I supposed to stop him?" I asked.

"You could've locked him in his apartment to avoid him from picking up someone like my sister."

"Excuse me? He did not pick up your sister. Your sister was the one who picked him up."

"Do you think someone as innocent as her would do that?"

"Do you think I would so much as do something that bad to my brother to shut his freedom? I'm just overprotective, but I have a heart. You probably have your sister locked up in some dungeon."

"You know what. This argument is pointless. I'm never talking to you again." He said as he got inside his car.

"Fine! Neither will I!" I said then got inside my car and drove off.

"Uhm, sis-"

"Not now. I'm going to give you a fully furnished lecture when I get you back home." I said.

He then sighed.

"Have you forgotten what I told you about voice actors? Ugh! Why did you even think of seriously asking her out? Geez!" I said as I slammed my hands on his dining table which freaked him out.

"Sorry! But you were the one with a voice actor. I was just with his sister-"

"But was I dating him? No! Darn, [younger brother's name]! You want another older sibling to die?!? The look on his face says that he was so mad! If I fought back more, he might've killed me!"

"S-Sorry, (F/N)-nee.."

"Geez. Do you really like this girl?" I asked.

"I don't know.. I think so."

I sighed.

"I'll give you options. If you like her, I'll let you be with her, but be cautious. If you're unsure, stop now rather than hurt her later. That's all I can say." I said as I headed to the door.

"Wait! What if I do really like her, but I want to be sure that what that seiyuu did to [older brother's name] won't happen to me?"

"Do what you wish. Trust yourself." I said then left his apartment with a slam.

Days, weeks, maybe a month passed. Kakihara and I never talked again. I never thought of talking to him either until I had an unexpected visitor.

I was lazily sitting on the couch of my apartment. Waiting for something exciting to happen. Even work is boring nowadays.

Knock knock!

I lazily walked to the door and opened it.

"Hey.. oh, it's you."

"Onee-san, uhm, hello. I'd like to talk to you."

"First of all, I would like to apologize. Please don't get mad at your brother. It really was my fault for agreeing to go on the blind date. Second, please make up with Tetsu-nii. He's not a bad person. Please start talking again. He was so happy when the two of you were hanging out. Please, onee-san." Kakihara's sister begged.

I sighed.

"It's alright. You did nothing wrong. Please take well care of my brother. And about your brother.. I'll think about it." I said.

"Thank you. Please give it some good consideration." She said with a bow.

A few moments after she left, I sighed then grabbed my phone and texted Kakihara to meet me at the cafe where we fought.

I patiently waited for him to arrive.

"(L/N), hey." He said as he arrived and sat across me.

"Hey, uhm, about last time.."

"We said some stupid things." He said.

"Yeah. Sorry. That was my sibling complex getting the best out of me." I said.

"Sorry, I guess mine was getting the best out of me too. Let's just forget about that." He said.

"Yeah, we should." I said.

A few moments later, we bursted out laughing.

"I can't believe how overprotective we were that we made a huge fuss about it! Hahaha!" He said.

"I know! I mean, most older siblings would say Congrats! But then we gave them a stern look then scolded them! Hahaha!" I said.

After chatting and snacking, Kakihara suddenly asked me about a serious matter.

"So, I heard you hate voice actors. Mind telling me why?"

"Maybe next time. It's quite a long and deep story. And I don't hate all of them. There's just one particular voice actor actually." I said.

That sibling complex thing almost cost our friendship. If I tell him about my hate for voice actors, this time, our friendship might really be over. I better stay cautious.
