After that trip to the amusement park, Masuda brought me home. It turns out I fell asleep when we rode the ferris wheel. Stupid me.

I really couldn't help but think if I should tell him that I like him or something.

I mean, I guess I like him for him, not for his tactics that he uses to win me over.

After getting ready for bed, my phone suddenly beeped. It was a text from Masuda.

Congratulations, you were right. I couldn't change your point of view. I'll leave tomorrow at 10.

What? But he did change my view. I don't think lowly of all guys now. I don't think he's lowly.

He's a nice guy. He's a great person. Anyone would be lucky to date him. Plus he's famous so girls always fawn over him.

Ah, that's right. He's famous so girls always fawn over him. I've got no chance with him even if I fall in love with him for real. He's probably just using his voice acting charm on me like he does with his fangirls. That's right.

There's nothing I can do.

I didn't reply to the text and just headed to sleep.

The next morning, I couldn't help but think... would I be okay with him leaving? I mean, he and I like, used to go out everyday. Could I miss him? Wait, what the heck am I saying?!?

My phone then suddenly rang.

"Hello?"

"(Nickname), are you just going to let Toshiki go?" [Random Friend of Masuda from hometown] said.

"Well, yeah. He has tons of girls." I replied.

"You idiot! He only has eyes for you!" He yelled.

"How do you know that?"

"Because he never talks to women! Scratch that, he rarely talks to girls! He's already stressed so much with handling obsessive fangirls so he's afraid of most women and don't want to converse with them for too long. But then he spent already almost half a year with you! Can't you see? He loves you! He's been pursuing you for this long! This isn't about your stupid deal anymore! Now go! Run to him!" He yelled then hung up.

I immediately got ready to go to the airport and tell him how I really feel.

A few minutes later...

"Thanks, mister!" I said as I handed the taxi driver my pay.

I then hurried inside to find Masuda.

I searched for Masuda everywhere but I couldn't see where he was.

I stood in the middle of the waiting area to see if he already got aboard.

Ah crap! I can't see him anywhere! Am I too late?

"(F/N)?"

I turned around to see if he face matched the voice.

"Masuda!" I yelled as I ran over to him and hugged him.

"Uh, (F/N), what are you-"

"Have you forgotten our deal? You told me that you'd leave first thing in the morning when I reject you. How could you take a step on your own and act up without my command, huh? You're breaking the deal.." I said.

"(F/N), look,-"

I hugged him tighter then hid my face in his chest then said, "I love you!"

"Uhm, (F/N), could you please look at me?"

I slowly lifted my head and directed eye contact with him. He then leaned forward, making our lips connect. Okay, this finally made me cry.

"Let's go somewhere, okay?"

So Masuda and I went out of the airport hand-in-hand. I wasn't sure where he was heading but I didn't care.

We walked quite a long way then arrived at a nostalgic place.

"Do you remember this park?"

"Of course. I've lived in Hiroshima my entire life and I've been coming here since I was a child." I replied.

"Really? The first time I came here was my first 'date' with you." He admitted.

"Really? Isn't this your hometown?"

"It is but I used to live on the other side of Hiroshima."

"Ahh, I see."

"You know, I'm glad I met you. If I didn't, I wouldn't be able to see a calming place like this."

"I-I'm.. glad I met you too." I said.

"So, uhm we're dating now, right?"

"Uhm, I guess..."

"Ah that's good. I thought I'd still have to hold back when I'm with you." He said then hugged me.

I shyly hugged back.

"I'm glad you didn't leave." I said.

"(F/N), actually you're the first girl I ever-"

"Took interest on? Yeah, I've heard." I cut him off with a laugh.

"What? Is that one of your hunches or something?"

"Nope, [random friend's name from Masuda's hometown] told me your story."

"Oh, haha! That's pretty embarrassing.." he said then scratched the back of his neck.

"Well I find it cute, and I'm glad you have such a supportive friend like him. I wouldn't have run after you if he wasn't so supportive of our relationship." I admitted.

"Aww, I'm glad he enlightened you about your feelings for me haha!" He said then kissed my forehead.

I was really glad that I've been enlightened. I'm glad to know that Masuda actually loves me and so do I.

It's great to finally know that she feels the same way. I looked her in the eye and said, "I promise I won't leave you." Then slowly leaned in to close the gap between us.
