Chapter Three ~ Jenni
Mithrikal slammed her fists on the desk as she got the 'Knocked Out' screen. One thing she hated about the game was that. She thought it was useless and dumb. Though it never stopped her curiosity from wondering where she would end up. The same place, buried by snow, or just a completely different area. Mithrikal had not made friends in the game, but she made allies. They sometimes helped her out in the game when she was knocked out, or just really injured. Anyways, she had some more questions on her mind. That boy- Magix. Why did he help her? Did he know her? Was he watching her? Was he somebody she knew? Or maybe he was just a nice guy? She sighed. She had to log off anyways. For a small break.
She logged off, got some Doritos and Gatorade, and came back up. The 'Waking Up' screen came up once she glanced at the screen. She sat back down, and put her complete focus on the screen. She woke up in a house- definitely not hers- and looked around. It was overground. There were many bookshelves, a bedside table, and a few chests, under a window that looked off a cliff. She got up, off the bed, and fell over. Ugh. Another thing she hated in the game was when you were just knocked out, you were clumsy. It made sense to her, but she still hated it. It didn't seem like anybody was home. She reached for her bow, but it wasn't there. Hm. They must of taken it. She got up, leaning against the wall for balance. She walked out the doorway, and looked around. "Well..." She murmured to herself. "This house has got a lot." She looked for her bag and bow first. Her bow was in a hidden cabinet, and her bag was with her bow. "Okay..." She said. "Where's Syrilth?" She looked around for Syrilth, and took a few thing along the way. Once she found him, she picked him up, and headed for the front door. But it was locked. Must of been a protection enchantment. She suddenly heard footsteps. She turned around, and a girl with brown hair, a black shirt with two blue stripes, and blue pants with a wand in her pocket came back out. "Where are you going?" She asked. Mithrikal squeezed Syrilth, and stepped back. "I'm leaving." The girl sighed and looked at Mithrikal's bag. "Can at least give back the stuff that you stole?" Mithrikal sighed and emptied out her bag, only kept the money. Syrilth hissed silently at the girl. "My name is Jenni." She snapped at Syrilth. "You... can understand him?" Mithrikal said. Jenni looked at her. "Yeah, and right now he's not so fond of me." Mithrikal looked at Syrilth. "Well, we have to go now. Bye-" "Wait!" Jenni said. Mithrikal turned around. "Whaaaaaaat?" She said impatiently. "Do you remember what Magix looked like?" "Yeah." "Could you go get him for me? I think he's at the Tavern." Mithrikal rolled her eyes. "Why not." She walked outside, with Syrilth flying behind. "Well, she was okay..." Said a voice that sounded like a kid. It came from Syrilth's mouth. Mithrikal let out a small yelp and stared at Syrilth. "Did you just talk?" She said, a bit scared. Syrilth slowly smiled. "You can understand me? Awesome! I can finally tell you things! Thank you Jenni!" Jenni was watching from her doorway, laughing a little bit. "You did this?" Mithrikal said. "Yeah..." Jenni said. "While you were alseep, he was going on and on about how he wished you could understand him. So when you walked out, I put an eternal enchantment on you so you could understand him. It's called Hiryō." Syrilth lokked at Mithrikal eagerly. "Can Jenni come with us?" Mithrikal sighed. "Fine." Syrilth smiled. "Jenni! She said you could come!" Jenni walked up. "Thanks." Jenni said. Mithrikal gave off a small smile. "Your welcome."
When they finally got to the front of the Tavern, Jenni offered to go in by herself, and Mithrikal and Syrilth waited outside. Mithrikal looked around. She found a few boxes, and a railing. She got up and went towards them. "Wait up!" Syrilth said. "What are you doing?" Mithrikal climbed on the boxes. "You'll see." She got on the railing, and climbed on the roof of the Tavern. Syrilth flew up there with her. Mithrikal stood up as hight as she could. "Hey... " She said. "What's that?!" Syrilth flew up higher, and saw something huge, and pitch back by the Castle. It looked like a huge shadow, and it seemed to be getting ready to make an enchantment. Syrilth came down. "We need to get Magix and Jenni and get out of here."
