Chapter Four ~ Fhamzal

Mithrikal started to get worried. It was just a game. And it was also weird because Syrilth seemed so... Alive. It was pretty weird, but she listened to him, and they went into the Tavern. "There they are!" Syrilth said. Mithrikal went up to them, they were talking about something. "Guys." She said. Magix and Jenni looked at her. "Mithrikal?" Said Magix. "Guys, Syrilth says we have to get out of here. There's this black shadow thing. And it's at the castle." Jenni looked worried. "Really?" Magix ran outside. "It's coming towards the Tavern!" Syrilth looked jumpy. "We have to get out. Now!" Mithrikal ran outside with Jenni and Magix, Syrilth leading them behind the Tavern. "I wanted a better place to do this, but I guess now's a better time. " "Huh? Syrilth? Where are you going?!" Jenni yelled as Syrilth flew into the trees. Magix thought for a moment. "He's coming back. Don't worry." He said. Mithrikal looked in front of the tavern. "It looks as if the shadow thing is heading towards the middle of the map." She said. Jenni thought. " That would be where most of the houses are." She replied. Just then there were sounds of wings flapping. And a HUGE dragon, that looked like a bigger version on Syrilth landed in front of them. "Who are you?" Mithrikal said. "Its me, Syrilth." The dragon replied. "No time for questions. Get on." They all climbed on Syrilth. Mithrikal had so many questions, but she thought of one. "When we were on the roof, and you saw that thing, you acted like you knew what it was. Do you know what it is?" Syrilth was quiet for a moment. "I'm not just programming. I'm actually alive. But I have to act like I'm not in order to keep this game from being shut down. That black thing... its called Fhamzal. Fhamzal was a hacker, and he tortured whoever he could. The developers knew we were alive, and they did it by accident. But they cared. They took him off the game, permanently. He was angry. He made another account, and soon found out about the secret of the game. He talked to the developers, and he said that he would expose the secret, if they didn't let him back onto the game. They let him back on, but only to set a trap. Since he knew, they couldn't let him tell anyone, or torture the animals. The found a way to banish him into the game. And trap him in an emerald, which they soon put in a dragons cave to be guarded. He must've found a way out. All I know is that he's extremely dangerous. You need to log off. All of you." They were all extremely surprised. "Okay... " Jenni said. Can we come back on? At all?" Syrilth sighed. "I'll let you know when. Just go." Mithrikal hugged Syrilth. "Bye guys..." She said. She tried logging off. It didn't work. "What?!" She said. "What is it?" Syrilth said. "Its not letting me log off." "Same..." Magix said. Jenni gasped. "Me too!" Syrilth started flying faster. "Oh Mikhal..." He said. He suddenly stiffened out, and started flying towards the groud. "What are you doing?" Magix said. Syrilth didn't reply. Once he landed, he collapsed. "Syrilth?!" Mithrikal said. Suddenly, a huge shadow came over them. It was Fhamzal. "You three are special ones, aren't you..." He said. "Well, since I'm at the center I might as well." He laughed maniacally, and a beam of darkness shot up. It was so loud, they all three covered their ears, and closed their eyes. "You can't handle it?" Fhamzal taunted. "Well, I guess I'll be a little nice." He touched each of their foreheads, and they all three passed out. In real life too.

Magix was the first to wake up. He felt his head, and opened his eyes. He didn't wake up in his house. In real life or in the game. He was where he left off, in the game. "I'm actually IN the game..." He said to himself, shakily. He looked around, seeing Mithrikal and Jenni on the ground. Maybe they're in the game too... He thought. He also saw Syrilth sitting up, facing the other way. "S-Syrilth?" He said. Syrilth turned around. "Oh, your awake." He said. "Are the other two awake yet?" Magix looked at them both. "No, not yet." Syrilth nudged Mithrikal, and she moved a bit but she was still asleep. "Syrilth, I'm actually in the game." Magix said. Syrilth sighed. "Yes, I knew you were going to be. So is everybody else." Magix looked shocked. "How?!" Syrilth looked up. "That beam Fhamzal shot up. He imprisoned everybody in the game."
