Meet.
Red glared at the duo as they dragged him over to Viridian City. They were apparently going to meet someone that he didn't want to meet. Blue had this laugh like she had lost her little mind while Green stayed behind him so he couldn't escape. Great. They arrived at the city as he sighed.
"As I said before and that I'll say again. I don't want to meet whatever therapist you're taking me to." Green spoke with confusion while Blue's hysterical laughter filled the air again.
"When did we say therapist?"
"I know this person is-" Red then stopped. "We're not going to a therapist?"
"Red, you made the last one cry. We're sparing the others. This isn't going to be a therapist." Red paused as Blue almost lit up.
"There she is! Green, go go go!" Green rolled his eyes before going over to a crowd. Oh, did the person not know? Or was there something he was missing? He sighed before ripping his hand from Blue's grip and sitting down.
"You know what? I'll let you guys humor me. But do not touch me until you've regained a part of your sanity."
While Blue went hysterical and Red got ready to no doubt beat her for whatever she did, Green went over to the center as the blonde rushed to it. He held the door open for her since her hands were full, which got a thanks before she snuck a glance back. Ah, she knew he wasn't from there. He then waited by the door as she settled the things down before going over.
"Yes?" He smiled as he spoke.
"My name's Green. I'm from the nearby town. I was wondering if you could help me and a friend with a... problem?" She paused.
"What kind?" He took her outside and gestured to the exchange, which had led to Red finally slapping the hysteric female that got her to snap out of her insanity. They were having a little standoff as Green sighed.
"Our friend, Red, is... mentally not there. That's the most lively he'll ever be, but-" Green sighed. "I knew the old Red. He was so kind and gentle... I want to fix this. Me and Blue saw your impact on the City and were wondering..." She seemed to piece his words together before smiling.
"Sure. I can try." She paused as the standoff broke off, leaving Red to sulk and Blue to find something to do. "Many of my friends are just friends because of what I can do. But maybe I can have a real friend." She marched over as Green smiled. Red had drifted off before a voice touched his ears. "Excuse me?" He looked up to meet her eye. He seemed to pause before finally answering.
"Yes?" She smiled as she knelt down, his eyes seeming to scan her as she met his eye level.
"My name's Yellow. Can I join you?" He paused before nodding, which seemed to be an accomplishment. She shifted to sit down beside him. "What's your name?" He scanned the area before speaking.
"Red..." He finally found Green and Blue. Blue had gone back to her hysterical form and since Red was busy, Green had become the target. Seeing him drop into a panic to avoid her was probably better than whatever yelling he would do, so he decided he'd be left alone. Blue maybe not. Yellow continued the conversation.
~
Red made sure Blue got yelled at, not that the hysterical girl heard him as she went home. Green stayed where he was until he heard Red sigh, which meant his yelling was done.
"I'm not going to get yelled at?"
"Blue was terrorizing you while I was busy. You took more than you needed to. I'm going to bed." Green gulped as he left. He forgot to ask how it went.
Meanwhile, Red was lost in thought. Yellow was gentle, but he still wasn't sure.
~
Yellow sighed. She had just gotten home and was sore. Dealing with Red was actually the most relaxing of everything she's done. She slumped on her bed and sighed before her thoughts went back to the conversation. If Red was gentle and kind before, then maybe that could help her. She never had someone who was just gentle to her. Always rough, needy people. She sighed as she fell asleep.
