Chapter 32: Dark Guild

AVA's POINT OF VIEW

NAPABUNTONG-HININGA ako nang natapos ko na sa wakas ang tent na tinatayo ko. We are staying outside the abandoned building here in Screzine. Malapit lang kami sa mga naninirahan sa bayang ito. We chose to use the tent we've got — ay, ako lang pala ang nagdesisyon. Ang creepy kasi doon sa loob ng building!

Lumabas ako sa tent matapos kong inayos ang loob. Darkness enveloped me as I got out of the tent. The crescent moon above the sky was togethere with stars. They gives light to the whole place despite of being dark. You can never appreciate the lightness without the dark.

Napayakap ako sa aking sarili nang umihip ang malakas na hangin dulot ng panlalamig ko. From where I am standing right now, the calm sea was directed to my eyes. It is described as a calm and serene surrounding.

Ngayon lang ulit ako nakakita ng dagat.

How I wish I can swim here without thinking the mission we need to fulfill. Idagdag pa ang bagong elemento na nadiskubre ko sa aking sarili. It's hard to accept this, lalo na't mahirap itonf gamitin tulad noong nakita ko si Jane na nahihirapang magensayo sa iba't ibang teknik para sa apoy.

"Anong iniisip mo?"

"Oh my, Fire!" gulantang kong sigaw. Agad kong nilingon ang gumulat sa'kin at sinamaan ng tingin. "When did you reach that place?"

Tumawa siya ng hilaw. "Sorry! Nagulat ata kita," aniya at nagpeace sign pa.

Umismid ako at inirapan siya. "Zoe, is there a book about the Gods and Goddesses?" bigla kong natanong. I don't know what gotten into me but I wanted to know about them. Bakit ba kasi wala ako noong tungkol sa kanila ang lesson?

"Huh? Bakit?" she curiously asked. "Pero, oo, merong libro tungkol sa kanila na nandoon sa library."

"Thanks, that's all what I wanted to know." naging sagot ko. I don't want anyone to know what I'm really thinking. Kahit pa ang mga malalapit kong mga kaibigan. Bumuntong hininga ako at pumasok na sa loob. I need to rest and use the energy I'd store for the mission for tomorrow.

THE TWO entity in front of me was my friend's parents, Sofia's. Hindi pa rin sila nagbabago at nanatiling mga mababait. They even let us eat first before going to place where the Dark Entities resides. Sofia is with them the whole time we're eating, probably missing each other. Pagkatapos naming kumain ay agad na kaming naglakbay papuntang hilaga ng bayan nila. Nandoon raw kasi ang mga kadiring nilalang.

We are together with the Mistry's knight to lead us the way. Akala ko mahihirapan pa kami sa paghahanap ng lokasyon sa kalaban. Turns out, they already know about this last week but didn't take an action.

They're afraid for the people who lives in this town to get involved. But little did they know, some of the villagers here went missing and when found only their dead bodies appeared. They think that the Dark Entities were behind those abductions and killing while absorbing their mana. There are rumors that they are doing some experiment with something.

I sighed again, thinking about the dream I had earlier instead of the mission we've facing now. Sino ang lalaking iyon? Hindi ko talaga siya kilala pero may nagsasabing dapat ko siyang kilalanin.

"Pansin ko lang, ah, madalas kang napapabuntong-hininga. May problema ka ba, Maureen?" rinig kong tanong ni Sofia. I noticed that all of them were looking at me with worried faces, except for Harrison who is just looking straight at the route.

"It's nothing. I just feel a little different with this mission. Pakiramdam ko may mangyayaring kakaiba," pahayag ko. I didn't lie, though. It's true that I felt that way, kaya ginawa ko na lamang iyong dahilan.

"Yeah, I felt that, too," sabat ni Andrea. Tumango naman kaagad ang mga kasama namin, indicating that they felt it, too. So I'm not the only one.

Huminto kami sa isang masukal na gubat at napansin kong wala ng buhangin sa parteng ito ng lugar. We continue walking until we stopped our tracks into the depths of the forest. Malalaki na ang mga puno rito at natatabunan na nito ang araw kaya hindi masyadong maliwanag.

Isa sa mga kawal ay pumunta sa harap at hinawi ang mga nagtataasang damo. Sa kaniyang paghawi, isang puno ang sumalubong sa'min. Akala ko ay doon na ang tirahan ng mga halimaw, but the knight take the left route, and so we followed.

Napanganga kaming lahat nang tumambad sa amin ang isang malaking imprastraktura sa aming harapan. A voluminous black dome surrounded with black mists all around. Napakamapayapa ng lugar kung hindi lang magpapakita ang dome at ang madilim na aura nito.

"Creepy," naisaad ko. Negative energy surrounds us and I barely breathe because of that. "Let's finish this mission in an instant. I still have to do something after this." I said as I stepped my foot beside Harrison.

The knights serve as the lookouts. Nilusob namin ang kopula at tinahak ang iba't ibang daanan. We separated ways in order to destroy the dome easily and kill all the Dark Entities. I've taken the right path and to the way towards it, several of gross creatures comes in my way.

"Eww, my Gods, ilan ba kayo lahat? It's tiring to fight all of you when you are retaining a black smelly blood," I said as I conjure the sword made of wind through my power and added a poison made of poisonous plant, Psoxic.

Kung masusugatan ka gamit ang espadang ito, poison will invade your soul and can disrupt your magic and ability. And without magic and ability with your being, means you are dead. My wind sword is simple yet deadly.

Iwinasiwas ko ang aking espada at nagsimula ng umatake. Black blood with an ewwy smell comes in my clothes as I let my sword get into my rhythm to wound this noxious creatures. Kahit pilit kong pinaliit ang kanilang mga makukuhang sugat, hindi ko pa rin ito mapipigilan kaya tumatalsik sa'king mukha ang kanilang nakakadiring dugo.

Natapos ko na silang kalabanin kaya nagpatuloy ako sa paglalakad habang hawak-hawak ko ang espada sa kanang kamay ko. May nadadaanan akong mga Dark Entities pero napapatay ko sila sa simpleng sugat lamang.

Nababalot talaga ang luga ng negatibong enerhiya at ang hirap huminga dito sa loob. Purong itim ang aking nakikita pero mabuti nalang ay may elemento ng apoy upang makatulong sa'kin na makakakita sa gitna ng dilim. I lit a small ball of fire and let it float in front of me. I also put some of my conscience on it, in order for the fire to have my instincts of way.

I stopped from wandering around this creepy cupola when someone appeared in my front. My eyes widen upon seeing a two Succubus and a Daemon.

The Succubus improves their costumes because they are now wearing a sexy velvety armor and bringing a black sword within their hands. Nakatupu rin ang kanilang mga pakpak na pinaglihi sa paniki at may mga sungay sa kanilang noo. They are beautiful but the horns in their heads made them ugly.

Ang Daemon naman ang siyang mas nakatataas kaysa sa Succubus. In our academy, they are the professors and the Succubus are the students. The Daemon has the appearance of a bulky body man with horns in his head while wearing a black cloak and a scythe in his right hand. He looks like Grim Reaper if it's not with his bulky body and horns.

"Oh, what do we have here?" nakataas ang kilay ng isa sa mga Succubus habang sinasabi niya iyon. "A fierce lady who is brave enough to fight us, eh?" Iginulong ko ang aking mga mata. Fierce nga, eh! May fierce ba na matatakutin?

"A gorgeous one, perfect for our experiment," nangingiting saad naman no'ng isa.

My brows furrowed. What experiment is she saying? Kaya ba kami ipapunta rito para sirain iyon? Iyon ba ang dahilan kaya nawawala ang mga mamamayan dito at parang inubusan ng mana sa kanilang katawan kung matagpuan na?

"She's mine, Ladies," saad naman ng Daemon. Napakunot muli ang aking noo. Inaangkin niya ba ako? No way! Harrison is the only one who can touche me!

"Shut up, Ugly Creatures, fight me so I can get out of here already." It's suffocating. Nakakaubos ng hangin dito, mabuti nalang at ang hangin mismo ang kapangyarihan na meron ako. I already sent breathing and refreshing air to my comrades because I know that from now, they are already having a difficulty in breathing.

"What an airhead," komento ng Daemon. Sinamaan ko siya ng tingin na mukhang nagpainis sa kaniya. What now? Tingin pa nga lang ang ibinigay ko sa kaniya, eh.

Ibinagsak niya sa marmol na sahig ang kaniyang scythe at mula roon ay may itim na usok ang lumabas. It is more than suffocating than the air before! I concentrated and let an air surrounded me and gives me enough to breath properly.

Nauna siyang sumugod sa'kin gamit lamang ang kaniyang sandata. I smirked as to my sword sways on my will. We both exchanged some attacks and I think he felt that I wast just playing with him.

"Fight me with all your strength!" pagalit na sigaw nito. His face suddenly becomes all red. Nagulat ako dahil doon. He is really serious, huh?

Ngumiti ako at nakita kong saglit siyang natigilan. I used that advantage to move on his place. Hindi na niya naiwasan ng nagawa ko siyabg sugatan sa braso niya. Ngumisi siya ta humalakhak. Pinanood ko lamang siyang gano'n hanggang sa nawala ng unti-unti ang panunuya sa kaniyang mukha at napalitan ng sakit.

Napatakip ako sa aking mga tainga nang sumigaw siya ng ubod ng lakas at unti-unti nang naging abo ang kaniyang katawan. Green vapor appeared down on the floor and takes all the ashes away.

Napalingon ako sa dalawa pang natira na parang gulat na gulat sa nakita. Hindi siguro nila inaasahan na mapapatay ko ang mas malakas pa sa kanila. Well, thanks to Plant Magic.
