I arrive at the department only to see the Rookie waiting for me at the entrance door.

I park my car, cut the engine, and got out. I started walking to the Rookie.

I got close for him to hear what I had to say.

"You have some fuckin nerve to pull that stunt Rookie" I said to the Rookie.

"First off the name is Ryder, so can you please call me by my name." He said.

"I though I mention this before.... I don't give two shits what your name is." I stated.

"Why?"

"Because I don't care" I said to him

"So if my name was your old partner name you would have give two shits right?" Ryder stated

I stared at Ryder... Him know what he said upsets me big time, before I knew I was going off on him.

"Who the Fuck do you think you is, Thinking you can say those word in front of my Fucking face, Bitch Fuck no. Say those Fucking Words again and I'll End Your Shitty Ass Career. Got that You son of a bitch." I shouted at him

Knowing me I'm not the one he want to fuck around with.

Ryder walk up close to me and said something.

"You think your strong but your not...Deep down your upset at yourself for what happen to your partner and you know it." He said.

He was right I was upset at myself for letting my partner die, that's why I need to act hard on every partner chief give me so the same thing won't happen.

My smart mouth made a comeback that shock him and me.

"Haha... Me .... Upset... At myself... Quite Fucking playing. I would never be Fucking mad at myself for what happen to my old partner get that threw your head." I said

I turn to walk off when Ryder said.

"Your lying... You care"

I turn around to say something when all of a sudden he snap.

"STOP FUCKING LYING... YOU NOTHING BUT FULL OF FUCKING LIE'S. YOU CARE FOR YOUR PARTNER. IN FACT YOU LOVED HIM. SO DON'T GO SITTING HERE, LYING IN MY DAMN FACE. YOU SHOULD GO TO HELL FOR SAYING THAT ABOUT YOUR OLD PARTNER!!." He scream at me

I started to speak

"listen here Ro...." Didn't even finish what I am saying because he interrupt me

Ryder grab me by my collar.

"MY NAME IS FUCKING RYDER... IF YOU DON'T KNOW HOW TO SAY MY FUCKING NAME, THEN DON'T SAY IT AT ALL" he scream at me again.

I never seen this side of him.... Well its not like I cared anyways.

Ryder walk inside the department, all I could have done was stand there shocked.

"Like...Wowww... What the fuck just happen" I said

I snap out of it and walk into the department and into the chief office. When I arrive Ryder was there with the chief waiting on me for the news.

I stared at Ryder considering what he said is still in my mind.

"Uhmm.. Earth to Zyan" chief said

"Hmmm" I said

"The news" he said

"Oh right... I got him off the street in fact I told him I never want to see him in the street again." I stated

"After he threatened him" Ryder said

Chief look at me in confused mode

"You threatened him" chief asked

"Not at all chief... Why would I threatened my own brother" I said to the chief

"If I recall you said *Tyler if I have to chase you then shit going to go down. If I catch you, your ass is mine and I'll never stop beating the shit out of you. If I don't catch you...well.. My car going to do the talking, so you choose.* yea that what you said" Ryder told chief

Chief look at me like if I was crazy

"Zyan!"

"Chief!"

"Zyan!" 

"Chief!"

We look at each other for awhile until I decided to take my eyes off him and look at Ryder.

Ryder look at me, deep down I felt like he saying that's what I deserve in his mind.

"Zyan.... I just can't believe you did that" chief said

"Listen chief he's my brother I got to lead him to a great path not a bad one" I said to the chief

"Hmm...A great path...Oh please... A Great path to getting him killed... The way you handle things back there was not a great path." Ryder said

I clench my fist and teeth together and look at Ryder.. He saw that I was pissed and stared me down

"You think you know your shit now.. Don't you" I stated to Ryder

"Zyan!, we don't use that language in here" chief said

"No Chief I'm getting tired of his smart ass mouth.. Maybe I should remind him who he's fucking with." I said angrily

"Go ahead I want you to, I'm ready when you is" Ryder said with his smart ass mouth

"Zyan don't you even think about it" chief said

"Sorry chief but this order I got to disobey... This son of a bitch thinks he smarter then the whole world.... But he not... The real question is who the fuck is you to tell me what's a great path for my brother and what's not" I said angrily

"I know what's a great path for your brother and almost killing him by choking him from the throat is not a great path nor choice for him" Ryder said with confident

"Shut the fuck up, you don't know nothing of what me and my brother been through to survive in this world" I said

"You right I don't know nothing about you and your brother but from what I observe today you know nothing about your brother either...hmmm" Ryder said

"For your fucking information I do know everything about my brother.. Just because I mess up on his favorite color doesn't means I don't know nothing about my brother." I stated

"You just gave yourself away you mess up on your brother favorite color.... Come on man." Ryder

"Okay smart ass what you know about your sister?... Huh.." I glared at him

"I know she light skin, have honey blonde hair, 16 year old, she like boys, have a boyfriend, favorite food is pizza, favorite color is purple and neon pink, and her favorite number is 17..Does that prove your point" Ryder glared back at me

"Whatever.." Is what I can only say

"Exactly.. Point prove in" Ryder said

"Listen I need you both to pull y'all self together... I don't know what happen at the crime scene....but I don't need this kind of nonsense taking place in my office so if you both would excuse your self please." Chief had said to both me and Ryder

Ryder walk out then I did, I turn around and saw chief waving his hand at me. I turn back around and walk out while closing the door behind me.
