I been out of work for probably like 2 month, chief is probably mad, but I felt like I need those month's off from what happen to my partner.

I pick up my phone to look who it is. Something told me this was chief calling me,I look at the caller ID.

yup just as I thought chief, I answer the phone.

"Hello" I answer

"Zyan I said you can take sometimes off from work not months" chief said.

"Chief I know what you said but I needed those month's to get myself back together." I answer back

"You better be at the department by 9:45 am asap,no if, then,and because." Chief said.

*sigh* "Okay chief" sounding sad

"9:45 am Zyan" chief said.

"Okayy" sounding annoyed

*call end*

Welp look like I have to get ready. I think I'll take a 2 hours and 45 minutes shower,then get something to eat as soon as it hit 9:00 I'm out of here.

Yup that's definitely the plan for today. Alright first thing first shower. Soon as I got into the bathroom I turn on the water.

Since I had to wait for the water to turn warm I'll brush my teeth. I turn on the sink water, and put toothpaste on my toothbrush and started brushing my teeth.

When I was finished I rinse out my mouth and went straight to the shower to check on the temperature.

It was a okay temperature to get in, I started to striping my clothes off so I can get in.

After the 2 hours and 45 minutes shower it was 8:45. I put on some freshly work clothes and went to the kitchen.

From there I took out a sausage croissant and put it in the microwave to heat up as soon as it was done it was 8:59.

I took the croissant out of the microwave and headed to the door. I lock the door and went straight to my car.

It should only take me 10 minutes to get to the department. I'm not in no rush.

I arrive at the department at 9:10. I walk in and went to the chief office. When I got in there, there was somebody standing in front of him.

"Chief" I said

"Ah Zyan you arrive early as usual" chief said.

"Yea, so what's up? who this?" I asked

"Oh yes this here is your new partner go ahead and introduce yourself son" chief said.

"Uhmm okay,my name is Ry.." My new partner said.

"You don't have to tell me your name because I don't care what it is." I told him straight up

"ZYAN! LET HIM FINISH!" chief yelled.

"For what chief I really don't care what his name is." Stating the truth

"Oh you will when I take out half of your money from your pay check and the car I will give you won't be as nice as the SRT hellcat challenger" chief said.

"Okay okay I'll hear what he got to say" I said

"Go ahead and finish" chief said.

"Okay uhmm my name is Ryder McCrary nice to meet you" Ryder said.

Ryder held his hand out but I knew damn well I was not about to touch that boy hand.

"Yea okay you should already know my name since chief been saying it for the past few minutes, and don't ever stick your hand out to me again. I don't give people hand shake at all" I told him

"Yes Mr.Zyan" Ryder said.

"Chief what's today case?" I asked

"This is it right here" chief said.

He slap down a file on his desk and open it.

"Tyler Gonzalez"

I rolled my eyes and cursed under my breath.

"Where was he last seen?" I asked

"The same place we caught him before" chief said.

I shook my head

"Idiot" I said

"Uhmm may I ask who is Tyler?" Ryder ask

"No you may not ask" I told the Rookie

"I'm sorry"

"Zyan!" Chief said

"What?"

"Ryder, Tyler is Zyan younger brother" chief said.

"Oh uhmm what did he do?" Ryder ask

"Say uhmm one more time see if I won't punch you dead across your face" I told him sounding irritated from him saying uhmm all the time.

"Uhm sorry.. I mean uhm... Sorry.. Without the uhm... I should just shut up now" Ryder said.

"Definitely"

"You have your case Zyan so hit it" chief said.

I walk out his office along with Ryder behind me.

I stop and turn around to tell Ryder what I don't appreciate.

"Hey Rookie" I said

"The name Ryder sir"

"Whatever I need to give you a little piece of my mind okay" I told him

"Okay"

"1. Stop calling me sir

2. I don't appreciate people who think they know what they are doing and they don't

3. Don't try to impress me because that's not going to happen

4. I don't let rookies like you ride in my car so you ride your little Volkswagen to the scene." I stated

"Uhmm...Sir I have a Camaro" Ryder said.

"Boy! What did I tell you about you saying uhmm or sir!" I said sounded angry

I walk up to him with my fist clenched.

"I'm sorry...Its a habit." Ryder said, while backing up.

"You got one more fucking time to say those words. Next time I'm not going to hesitate to punch you... Got it?" Telling him in a serious tone

"Yes Mr.Zyan"

"And not Mr.Zyan either so cut that shit right now" I said

"Yes...Zyan"

"Good now get the fuck out my face and go to the scene" I told him

Ryder walk off to his car and I walk off to mine. I open the driver side of the door and got in.

I started the car and drove off to 147 SW Ave. When I got there....there he was my little brother Tyler.

I walk over there. When he saw me he started running. But considering I didn't feel like chasing after him. I started thinking.

Should I get in my car and have a lift fun with him? or should I scream out some threatening word? I thought to myself

*sigh* I'll just shout out some threatening words.

"Tyler if I have to chase you then shit going to go down. If I catch you, your ass is mine and I'll never stop beating the shit out of you. If I don't catch you...well.. My car going to do the talking, so you choose." I screamed

He stop and turned around to look at me.

"your bluffing" Tyler said

"When was the last time you seen me bluff" I said

He thought to himself then started to walk to me.

When he was close enough to me I smack him upside the head and ask him.

"What the fuck is wrong with you?... I mean who come back to the same fucking spot that they got caught from the police. That's dumb." I shouted at him

"You don't understand" Tyler said

"I don't understand what? The simple fact that you want to be taking to jail.. Cause that I can do. I stated

"No my life have been a struggle. My own brother doesn't give two shits about me. He barley know anything about his little brother.

"That's not true I do give two shits about you" I said

"Okay but what do you know about me?"

"I know that your 16 turning 17 May 3" I started to tell him

"Okay what else" he said.

"That we have the same dad but different mother, and your favorite color is blue." I stated

"See that were your wrong my favorite color is a type of blue but it's not blue it's sky blue." He said.

"Same shit right they both have blue" I said

"No there not the same shit one dark and one light get that shit threw your head... See that exactly what I mean.. you don't know shit about me.. Wow Your own little brother." Tyler said.

For a moment he sounded like he was crying so I ask him

"Are you crying cause if you is I'm sorry."

"NO YOU DUMB BITCH I'M NOT CRYING I'M MAD AS FUCK!!!" he shouted at me

I grab his throat and push him against the wall and whispered into his ear.

"I don't know who the fuck your shouting at, and I just know its not me.. Don't get cocky now." I said to him

"Fuck you" Tyler said

"What you said?.. I dare you to say it again..I just dare you to." I stated trying to push him to the limit

"I said fuc..." He spoke

I push my hand tightly on his throat making it hard for him to finish his sentence.

"Zyan!"

I heard someone shout my name but I didn't look back.

"Zyan!"

I heard the person shout again. But this time the person put there hand on me and tried to tug my hand off my brother throat.

When I look I saw it was that rookie boy tried to get me off my brother.

"Zyan... For goodness sake he your brother... Brothers are never suppose to fight each other.. In fact there suppose to stand up for one another." The Rookie said

"GET YOUR HANDS OFF ME.. FUCK YOU THOUGHT THIS WAS." I shouted at the Rookie

The Rookie let go of my hand then I let go of my hand from my brother throat and he started coughing

"You could have killed me." Tyler said

"Your lucky I didn't" I stated.

I turned around and look at the Rookie. I started to walk up to him. Knowing for his own good he should stay put where he is.

Ryder P.O.V

Zyan started walking up to me I was about to step back but I knew that would only make the situation worst so I decided to stay put and look down.

I started thinking to myself *Maybe I should have never been in there business. I mean after all that's not my brother* when I looked up he was right there in my face.

He looked like he was ready to say something. I just stood there looking at his beautiful blue eyes, and that's when I notice that I'm starting to have feelings for him.

I saw his mouth open and he started saying.

"Just who the fuck you think you is.. Interfering with me and my brother nice conversation." He said

I answer back with my eyebrows raised "That was a nice conversation you was having with your brother?" I said

knowing he said at the beginning he doesn't like when people think they know what they are doing and they don't.

He gave me this mean ass glare like if it was supposed to make me watch what I'm saying to him.

He manage to come up with a comeback that kept me quite cause he was right.

"Why you so damn nosy... What ever was going on between me and my brother have nothing to do with you.. So next time you try to check me and put me in my place don't cause I'll shut you down real quick." he said with a attitude

After hearing what he said I didn't bother saying anything back. I believe he could shut me down real quick, so I keep quiet.

Zyan turn back around to look at his brother and started walking to him.

He started whispering something to him and I didn't bother to interfere after getting my ass check by him.

I simply walk off to my car and wait for him to say where heading back to the department.

Zyan P.O.V

I didn't know what Ryder was thinking when he was talking to me but he's lucky he didn't get punch the shit out of him.

I look at my brother and whisper to him.

"Since I'm not in a good mood I'm going keep it PG.... If you won't get the FUCK OUT OF THE STREET I'M GOING TO MAKE YOUR LIFE A LIVING HELL... As soon as I see you on this street or any street your ass is going to jail... You got that." I said

He nodded and reply

"I thought you said you was going to keep it PG" He said

"Well I change my mind its PG-13 now" I said

I started walking to my car, when i was near it I turn my head to see the rookie leaning on his car I told him

"Meet me back at the department Rook"

"Okay and the name is Ryder" he said

"Look at my face.. Does it look like I give a fuck" I said to him

"Your unbelievable" he murmured to himself

I saw him open his car door and got in. I open mine and got in, before I left, I rolled down the window and shout at Tyler.

"Go stay with grandma"

He nodded and left

With that being said I left heading to the department to give chief the news.
