I went immediately to the Main Gate, seeing as I already had all of my gear and supplies. My little pass out earlier only lasted for about 20 minutes, and I still don’t know what that all was about. I blame myself for bending my head over to much. I sat in a tree close to the gate, where I was concealed by all eyes. Later on they all started to come. Sai was first and he made himself comfortable sitting under the tree I was at. I tried concealing my chakra, even though I’m not very good at it, but I have a feeling that Sai might know I’m here and the others not. Not even Yamato. I had heard that he has bad sensing abilities, but a strange chakra form. Yamato came next and just stood at the gate, not even greeting Sai. Naruto and Sakura came together. Sai stood up and went to stand next to Sakura. Both Naruto and Sakura glared at him and his closed eye smiled. You couldn’t compare Sai’s smile with Kakashi’s, because there is a big difference.

“Okay people, this is it. Team Kakashi, we’re moving out.” Yamato said and they started to walk out. As soon as they were out of my sight, I jumped down from the tree, surprising Izumo and Kotetsu.

“Ah! Who are you?!” They yelled as they took out their kunai. I removed my hood to show them my face.

“Kaiya?” I nodded.

“Yeah, I’ve got a mission. So, bye!” I said quickly and ran out the village. I jumped into the trees and started to run from there, and not the obvious dirt path. I later caught up to the team. They were all uneasy by Sai still, but Yamato hid that fade.

“Well what is?” Sai asked, finally angered by their staring. “If you keep staring at me like that, I will hit you!” He said finally opening his eyes and glaring at them.

“Where did that come from? Where do you get off saying things like that?! Listen you!” Naruto said, forming a fist.

“I really have nothing personal against you.” Sai said.

“Yeah?! Then why’d you say it!”   

“You don’t understand, I was only trying out a certain personality type. That’s all.”

“A personality type?” Sakura asked, finally jumping into their conversation.

“Hm? If you were trying to do that that means you meant it!” Naruto said, angry once more, but Sai only walked passed him. “We don’t need someone like you on this team!” Sai stopped, and Yamato as well. There was tension in the air.

“You really rub me the wrong way.” Naruto said, glaring at Sai. 

“Ok, that’s enough. That’s no way to talk. Especially not in front of me, your team captain Naruto. Mutual respect and trust are essential elements of teamwork. Wasn’t it Kakashi that talked you that? You were part of the team led by the great Kakashi. Loose the attitude.” Yamato said, with a slight glare at Naruto.

“He’s not a part of team Kakashi! Not now, not ever! The fourth member of our team is and always will be Sasuke Uchiha!” Naruto said, pointing at Sai and bearing his teeth. “This guy…he’s just a fill in for Sasuke! That’s all he is, he will never be a real member of our team!” Sakura seemed surprise at Naruto’s outburst, while Sai just smiled that fake smile of him while placing his hand on his hip.

“Well…I’m glad. I’m glad that that’s how you feel. Sasuke is a traitor. He betrayed the leaf, and joined Orochimaru. Yes, you’re right; I’m not him at all. I’m not a traitorous cockroach. I can’t fill in for someone like that.” Sai said.

“I’ve had it with you, Sai!” Naruto was about to charge but Sakura held her hand up.

“Remember what’s important, Naruto. It’s teamwork. Calm down. Sai, Naruto was out of line. But it’s just because he doesn’t know you well enough yet.” Sakura took down her arm. “I’m sorry. I hope you can find it in your heart to forgive him.”

“But Sakura..!” Yamato sighed in relief.

“Glad we have one levelled headed person on the team.”

“Oh don’t worry; he doesn’t bother me in the least.”

“Good. That’s a relief.” Suddenly, something unexpected happened that if I hadn’t recovered quickly I could’ve blown my cover. Sakura hit Sai! So hard that he was sent flying and landed on his back. This surprised Yamato the most.

“I don’t care one bit, if you forgive me!” Sakura said, kind of scary. From the distance I was from them I could just feel the tension radiating off of them. Naruto was confused at Sakura’s actions, Sakura felt confident and wanted to murder Sai, Sai was just emotionless and Yamato was worrying.

“You fooled me quite fell. That smile of yours looked so sincere.” Sai commented.

“Sai. You don’t know a thing about Sasuke. I won’t stand for you talking as if you do!” She hissed. “Just keep bad mouthing him and next time, I won’t hold back.” I know it’s scary, but Sakura’s voice seriously sounded like a man’s here.  

“Hm. Fine then. I’ll keep my mouth shut in front of you. Well, it appears I just learned another use for a fake smile. I’ll remember that.” Naruto got angry and started shouting at Sai. I didn’t pay attention to the word specifically because I was now more concerned on Sai and Yamato. Sai seems as if he’s angry, but really he’s just amused. Yamato is wondering what he was possibly going to do with his team, and probably if he should exterminate Sai. After a small conversation which I could probably guess it was all about, Naruto was going to charge again but Yamato interrupted by dong hand signs.     

“Four pillar prison jutsu!” He yelled and suddenly wood came from the ground to form a cage. My eyes widened and my mouth dropped. This is what they meant. He has the jutsu of the first Hokage! It surprised everyone, even Sai. He warned everyone that he would toss them into the cage if they didn’t sort it all out now. All of them gave up and followed Yamato again, seeing as they didn’t want to spend the night in a wooden box. They made it to an inn with a hot spring where they all went to the hot springs. I settled myself in a tree that was next to the inn. But I must say, the owners are kind of stupid. You could see both hot springs from here. Perfect place for a certain perv-meister I know. I couldn’t hear their conversation, except for the time where Naruto yelled about ‘balls’ and all the girls laughed. I actually kind of felt bad for Sakura; luckily I wasn’t on their team. Later that day I ate some bread and fruit I brought along and fell asleep high in the tree, where no one could see me. I woke up early the next morning and watched as Sai disappear somewhere. I followed him of course, only to see him paint abstracts. I was surprised. I guess he does live up to his name. Talented and paint. I just smiled and sat back in a tree and examined him painting. Sakura came out later and commented on his art work. Naruto also examined from a distant. I sighed and stood up from the branch I was seated on and started running towards the Tenchi Bridge. It seems that they won’t have as much problems as before. I went ahead for a simply reason. It can’t be this easy.
