Not a dream
(Y/N)'s POV:
Math class was my first period. Jayden and I were partners and we were working on a project.
"Sorry about last night" I managed to break the silence.
Jayden smiled and remarked,"Don't worry about it too much. It was only a nightmare."
I nodded and got a pen from my backpack.
I tried to draw a straight line on a paper but failed badly.
"Oops...." I whispered when I realized I drew a line across a math problem.
"I'll be right back." I stood up and went to the teachers desk to get another paper.
There was a long line of people ahead of me.
Guess people didn't really understand the assignment.
In front of me was my crush.
He was smiling.
I tapped his shoulder and he turned to face me.
"Hey (crush's name)! You seem happy today."
He nodded and said in a high pitched voice that I'd never expected to hear from him,"Course I'm happy! I have a girlfriend!"
I froze when he said that last sentence.
After a while of choosing my words carefully, I had the guts to ask who his girlfriend was.
(C/N) pointed at a girl who I didn't really know.
I was about to ask him another question but he ran to the girl and hugged her.
Right in front of me.....
Forgetting about the paper, I made a run to the door.
Jayden saw me and went over to me.
Before he could catch up, I left the classroom and went outside of my school.
I ran as far away as I could until I found a tree.
I sat down beside it and tried not to cry.
Jeff's POV:
It was a boring afternoon. I didn't really feel like killing people so I took a walk around town. I was walking normally until I saw a girl who was crying. She was sitting by a tree.
Familiar I thought.
I snuck behind the tree she was leaning against.
"I don't like it when girls cry out of the nowhere," I started. "Tell me,what's wrong?"
The girl didn't bother to look up, she just shook her head.
"I don't want to talk right now Jayden..." She mumbled.
"I'm not Jayden" I said in a unsure tone.
The girl looked up and when we saw each other's faces, we both gasped.
The girl stood up and started backing away from me.
(Y/N)'s POV:
It was that dude that stabbed me in my dream.
He looked less creepier at day than at night.
If I hadn't had that experience last night, I would actually think he looked cute.
I backed away slowly.
"It wasn't a dream?" I asked curiously.
The guy just laughed.
He laughed just like any other normal guy would.
"You thought it was a dream???!" He snickered.
"Who are you?" I questioned him.
He adjusted his hoodie strings then he said," I'm known as Jeff The Killer. But you can call me Jeff."
Killer... The word kept repeating itself in my head.
"Killer???" I asked nervously.
"Relax will you" He dried my tears with his hoodie sleeve. "Don't be suprised if I show up at your house again."
I nodded.
I blinked and he was gone.
Hmmmm....
Jayden's POV:
I hid behind a fence as I watched
(Y/N) talk to herself.
She's crazy, that's all I can say.
She was smiling, then, she saw me.
"Hey Jayden! Guess what?" She told me once she saw me.
She ran to where I was hiding and stood face-to-face with me.
"What?" I asked stupidly.
"It wasn't a dream! He's coming back to see me tonight!" She yelled.
Then she ran back inside the school.
What she said didn't really creep me out, it was the tone of voice she was using that creeped me out 24/7.
She sounded happy.
That is not very likely of her....
After school....
(Y/N)'s POV:
I sat down on a bench with Jayden.
Jayden walks home, but he likes to spend some of his time sitting on the school bench.
We were just sitting down until my crush's girlfriend barged in.
"Jay! If mom and dad come back home tell them that I'm at Jessica's. Oh also, mom called and told me to tell you to stop leaving the house at midnight." She said to Jayden.
"They're not coming back until September! And it's not as easy as it sounds..." Jayden replied angrily.
The girl scanned the room until she found what might be her friends.
She went over to them and started talking casually.
"You know her?" I asked Jayden as I pointed to the girl with the side braid.
"Abby Rivers, my sister." He responded.
Sister?! No that's impossible!
"Is she a new student or something? Why haven't I seen her in any of our classes before?" I kept asking Jayden.
Jayden sighed and replied with," She moved classes because she said she wanted to be with (C/N)"
I scoffed when he said that.
Of course she wanted to be with her boyfriend.
"What does she mean by not leaving the house at midnight?" I asked with curiosity.
Jayden stayed still and silent for a minute until he said in the creepiest whisper,"It's better you don't know."
I stared straight and saw my mom's car.
I tapped Jayden and pointed at my mom's car.
"Run!" I yelled at him and grabbed his wrist. I dragged him to the forest and hid behind a tree.
"I don't want to go back home," I whispered to Jayden so my mom wouldn't hear us. Even though she was back at school not in the forsest.
After a bit of arguing and complaining, Jayden finally agreed to let me stay at his house.
At 11:55 p.m.....
Jayden stood by the guest bed.
The windows were closed and the doors were locked.
"Jayden," I started,"Will you tell me that story about the alligator in the woods?"
Jayden sighed and turned off his laptop.
He checked the clock that was dangling from one nail clipped on the yellow painted wall.
"I don't have time, I'm sorry, but I have to go" Jayden said.
He got a head start to the door and began opening it, but I caught his wrist.
"Where are you going?" I asked while holding his wrist firmly.
"Somewhere!"
"Where?"
"I have to go! Please?"
I slowly let go of his wrist, which allowed his to open the door and go run outside.
I didn't hear the front door open, but I know that he left.
He'll be back in an hour I said to myself, trying hard not to worry.
I layed my head over a pillow and started to drift off to sleep.
Later at 2:30 a.m.
Jeff's POV:
After a couple of hours, I finally took a visit to that girl's house.
I opened the window and saw that the girl was awake.
I squinted, only to see that the girl was crying.
Crawling inside the room, I placed a hand on her shoulder.
She flinched at the sudden movement.
"You see, this is why you don't have any friends." I teased her.
The girl wiped her tears away and said,"I have friends. I have Jayden!"
"And where is this Jayden that you speak of?"
"I honestly have no idea...."
"You call that a friend?!"
I tried my hardest not to laugh.
The girl was so stupid, thinking that everyone is her friend.
She's never going to get any real friends if she keeps being depressed all the time.
The girl seemed to chose to not look at me on purposely.
Am I really that ugly?
"He never told me where he was going or when he was coming back," The girl sniffed.
"Well that's your problem," I told her.
"You don't care a bit about me, right?"
"Not if you're always going to be a baby crier."
"Do you know when Jayden is coming back?"
I faked a cough when she asked when her friend was coming back.
Whistling and looking nervously around the room, I responded in what I hope sounded like a lie,"How should I know?"
The girl finally had the courage to face me.
She stared at my eyes.
"What?!" I asked her awkwardly.
"Just gonna see if you're lying..."
I somehow couldn't hold my laughter in.
"Okay okay! I know when he's coming back!" I snickered.
The girl arched an eyebrow, telling me to continue.
"Let's just say, you shouldn't provoke him."
The girl stared at me confusingly.
"I'm sorry,what?"
"Dont bother your friend! Understand me now? Ugh!"
She rolled her eyes.
I annoyed her.
I should be on the world guinness record for most people annoyed in a day!
"I'm (Y/N) by the way," She said sweetly.
"(Y/N)...hmmm....the name doesn't really suit you...." I mumbled.
"No one asked for your opinion!"
I snickered.
"So (Y/N), you're not scared of me?"
"My heart is beating rapidly, I look like if I've seen a ghost, I feel like if I'm talking to a ghost. Of course I'm scared!"
"You should be." I reminded her before jumping out of the window and running into the forest.
(Y/N)'s POV:
The guy seemed to make fun of how I worry about everything and cry mostly all the time.
As I watched him jump out of the window, I kept thinking of what he told me.
"Let's just say, you shouldn't provoke him."
