I nodded and walked out of the kitchen into the main room, still in my cloud PJ's, and yawned to announce my presence though I figured  they had  known I was there.

"Good morning princess." Dad said.

I rubbed one of my eyes "morning Daddy..."

Yoshi POV

I looked around and used chakra to pinpoint our two guests. Lord Hokage was simple to find, the other man however was A bit harder. He seemed to be actively hiding his chakra deep in his core.

As a matter of fact the only reason I could see him is because, unlike most sensors, I uses my chakra to see whats around me instead of just focusing on the chakra of others. Like how bats know where things are through sound waves, and Dolphins through a built in sonar. I send my chakra into the air or ground and get a message back whenever something is in my range.

I created the whole chakra in the air idea so when I'm in kunai throwing practice I don't get  accidentally hit when one of the other students misses.

As Dad got out the shogi board and set it up for us to play, I quickly gave a greeting to our guests.

I sat down criss-cross on the floor facing them "good morning Hokage-sama "

"Good morning child, I heard you had a rough night." I nodded

"Ya, I had a nightmare that seemed to have triggered... something or another" I said honesty. Then I turned to our mystery guest "who are you"

He seemed startled for a second, before regaining composure. "Ahh, smart child, I'm supersized you can sense me. When I was informed you where blind and just use chakra to see; I was, however, unaware your ability was to such an extent..." he trailed off as if talking to himself.

"Its a work in progress" dad said as he finished setting up the board. His quick short answer, which had interrupted me opening my mouth to explain, told me he did not want this man to know anymore than necessary  "its no substitute for actual sight but she has made some creative solutions, Lord Danzo"

Danzo? That must be his name. I wonder who he is, and why dad docent seem to like him in our house.

Before I could ponder on this anymore Lord Hokage addressed me "now Yoshi would you like to play a game." He asked motioning over to the shogi board dad has set up.

"Sure!" I said happily rubbing the sleep out of my eyes I crawled over to daddy and he pulled me in his lap. Now that I was positioned in front of the board we began our game.

The adults continue to talk and I listen in with half my focused on the game. Danzo seems to just be watching it play out, as he hadn't said a word. Lost in his own thought if i had to guess, which i kind of do...

"Shikaku, are you sure you only just started teaching her how to play?" The Hokage, dare I say, pouted as I took his Rook with one of my Silver Generals putting a halt to whatever plan he had of breaking through my defenses and capturing my king.

"Yes I'm quite sure, she's only been in the leaf for just over a week" Dad smiled and ruffled my hair.

"Yes, yes well..." he noticed that his King was now being threatened by my Knight just in time and quickly positioned a pawn in the line of fire. Now if I were to move and take the pawn, his king would take my Knight out in the next turn, darn. "..  you Naras always have been naturals."   

"Ya you should see what happens when I go up against Nii-san" I smiled happily as i moved one of my pieces across the board "I haven't beat him yet but daddy says I'm getting better"

"Is that soo?" Hokage-sama asked as he sent his Gold General to take out my Lance.

At this dad nodded "yes, it's quite interesting to watch." He shrugged lazily "Shikamaru always wins but she gives him reason to sweat. There strategy styles are quite different However, that's what makes a good game. It forces Shikamaru to use that brain of his instead of slacking off because he knows he is going to lose against me."

"Yes I've noticed. I know you've always been quite offensive unless situation requires otherwise, Shikaku" the Hokage commented his knowledge of Nii-sans constant defeats at the hands of my father.

"As is my son. He plays quite similar to myself, though he is still working on seeing when he should or should not hold his ground and when to retreat, identifying traps has always been a struggle for the boy." dad said casually "Yoshi on the other hand, plays a more defense game. Figuring out her opponents strategy and breaking it before it ever comes into play as a threat"

I had a feeling he was only half talking about the Shogi game anymore. Yet i could feel the pride rolling off him in waves for both me and my Nii-san. However at this statement this Danzo guy seemed to lean a bit farther into the conversation. 

"That's a good ability to have, best way to win, is to avoid the brunt of the conflict and reroute them somewhere else." Danzo commented, "If only there where more people out there who realize this. Taking the opponent out before they even have the chance to strike." the air suddenly got heavier but i wisely pretended not to notice, i was a child after all i could get away with being oblivious to the direction the conversation was going. 

"Now Danzo we have talked about this, " the old man said calmly, keeping his voice level as to not alert the ears of the young child in front of him that this was anything serious. I moved my pawn to take his second Rook, approaching it from the side so he never saw it coming.

PEOPLE I NEED YOUR HELP!!!!!! THIS IS AN EMERGENCY! I DONT KNOW WHAT TO DO.

Readers, fans, fellow Naruto enthusiasts, i have come across a LARGE case of writers block. What should happen next? should i do a time skip, should i continue on like this for  few more chapters, what do you want to know about Yoshi? 

also, do we want Yoshi to figure out about the fact that she is betrothed to... someone i will not say as of yet...soon (like when she is still little), just before graduation from the academy, after they have been ninja for a bit but before the chunin exams, during the chunin exams, or after the chunin exams?
