Joe and I had arrived at the hotel after a long flight, we were both tired but I was the only one with the option to go to sleep. Joe on the other hand had to get straight to work. I watch as he places our bags at the end of the room before placing his gear bag by the door.

"Come here" he says opening his arms out to me, without hesitation I walk straight over to him and into his embrace "I just wanted one last hug before I go" says holding me tightly "are you sure you'll be ok here alone?" he asks and I look up at him.

"I'll be fine" I smile "I have some work to keep me occupied and then I will watch your match later"

"Alright but just know that I will be missing you all day" he says pecking my lips "I love you feisty"

"I love you too big man" I say giving him a longer kiss "and I'll miss you too, I'll keep the bed warm for you"

"See now I don't want to go" he groans "now I want to get in that bed with you and hold you"

I'm about to answer him when there is a loud knock at the door followed by "yo big uce". Joe sighs resting his head on my shoulder for a moment.

"And it starts" he chuckles "you better get used to them, they are never quite, the whole damn hotel needs to know they are at your door"

Reluctantly letting go of me Joe answers the door and greets his cousins with hugs before stepping aside to let them in.

"You ready to go big uce? Jey asks and then notices I'm stood next to him "Hey Sam, what are you doing here?" he asks giving me a hug

"Joe wanted me to join him for a while and here I am" I say as Jimmy also wraps me up in a hug

"Where's little uce?" Jimmy asks looking around

"At home with his mum" I smile "but we will be video calling him at some point if you guys want to say hi?" I ask

"Hell yeah we do" Jey smiles "that kid is great, he's our buddy now"

"He sure is" Joe smiles "he's started calling me Uncle Roman" he says smiling proudly

"For real?" Jimmy asks and Joe nods "That's great man, hey Sam do you think he'll call us Uncle too eventually?"

"I'm sure he will once he spends more time with you" I laugh at the three men going gaga over a little boy, and then I realise that Tyler is incredibly lucky to have these men in his life.

"Alright let's get this show on the road" Joe says "I'll see you later sweetheart, I love you"

"I love you too" I say giving him one last kiss, only to hear Jimmy and Jey start humming the wedding march, Joe turns around and smacks them both upside the head.

"Get your asses out of this room" Joe says jokingly "damn fools"

Later that night

I had just got done with my work and had turned the tv on ready for Joe's match when I heard a knock at the door. Getting off the bed I answer the door and find a woman standing there.

"Hi I'm Trinity, Jimmy's husband" she smiles "I wasn't needed tonight so I thought you might like some company"

"Hi I'm Sam" I smile back "and thank you, that would be nice" I say stepping aside and letting her in the room

"So how has your first day on the road been?" she asks "missing your man?" she smiles

"It's been good, I got some work done" I say "Yeah I miss him, but that's to be expected I guess"

Trinity looks at me for a moment and smiles before wrapping me up in a big hug which I gladly return.

"I'm glad he found you" she says "You are exactly what he needs, especially after her"

"Her? you mean his ex?" I ask and she nods "he doesn't really mention her"

"He won't, she hurt him" she says "he did everything for her, gave her everything and nothing was good enough for her, he was gone too long, she never saw him, he was always too busy, if she came on the road with him she would complain about never seeing him and being bored and lonely. Joe ran himself ragged trying to find a happy medium between her and his job, trying to keep her happy but it just wasn't good enough"

"Wow what a bitch" I say "Did he ask you to come and keep me company? not that I mind but I just have a feeling he did"

"You got me" she giggles "between you and me I think he's worried that you'll get fed up too"

"I understand that he's busy" I smile "My job keeps me busy so I get it, I'm grateful for anytime that I get with him"

"Girl he needs to wife you up" she laughs "you are perfect for him"

"We're taking things slow" I laugh "we are no where near that point yet"

"You've together what? A Month?" she says and I nod "he's brought you on the road and he wants you to meet his family that is anything but slow"

"He wants me to what?" I say panicking slightly

"Oh he hasn't mentioned that to you yet has he?" she says and I shake my head "just act like you don't know when he mentions it" she says

This was definitely news to me, Joe had not mentioned this at all and I wasn't sure I was ready for that. I mean what if they don't like me? Would that be a deal breaker for us?
