Jake POV

Pacing around the bedroom I couldn't settle, that man had thrown a massive spanner in my plans and I needed to get him out of the way.
He wasn't supposed to be there, he's supposed to be on the road with his other meathead friends.

"Baby relax" Liv says "you know who is now, that's what you wanted"

"Yes I know" I sigh "but I wasn't counting on it being someone like him, the guy is built like a fucking mack truck it's not like I can fight him for her"

"Who is she dating? The incredible hulk?" She laughs

"Might as well be" I say shaking my head "It's Roman fucking Reigns"

"Oh now I see the problem" she says "Good looks, great body, money, fantastic ass. You can't compete with that"

"Excuse me?" I say shooting her a look "what are you saying exactly?"

"Nothing, your gorgeous of course you are" she says "but come on it's Roman Reigns no man can compete with him"

"No you're right" I say "so I just have to switch tatics"

"Ooh keep talking" she smirks

"We find out everything we can about him" I say "find something we can use against him, everyone has a skeleton in their closet, there has to be something that will make her walk away from him"

"And what if there isn't anything?" She asks "what then?"

"Then we make something up" I smirk "if all else fails I'll tell her he's done the one thing I know will make her leave"

One way or another I was going to get that man out of the picture.

Sam POV

Laying next to Joe on the couch my head resting on his bare chest I honestly don't think I've felt happier than I do now. I truly loved this man, and it's shown me that what I thought was love I felt for Jake wasn't even close.

"You ok baby" he asks running his fingertips gently along my arm

"Never better" I smile snuggling into him

"Can I ask you something fiesty?" He asks and move my head to look up at him "would you consider coming on the road with me for little bit? I just don't feel comfortable leaving you here with fucknut hanging around"

"That's a really sweet offer but he would still be here when I came home" I say reaching up and stroking his beard

"You don't have to come home" he says "you could stay with me"

"No absolutely not" I say sitting up "I can't leave Hannah and Tyler"

"I know I'm sorry that was stupid of me" he says kissing my shoulder "forgive me?"

"Of course I do" I say pecking his lips "I love that you want to protect me but I'll be fine"

"I don't trust him baby not one bit" he says wrapping his arms around me "will you at least think about coming with me?"

"I'll think about it" I smile "but no promises"

Admittedly the idea of more time with Joe was very appealing but running away wasn't going to make Jake disappear, and knowing Jake the way I do following me wouldn't be beneath him, he's done it before.

The last thing I wanted to do was bring my personal problems into his work life, he doesn't need that and it wouldn't be fair. I couldn't help but wonder what exactly Joe was worried about.

"Big man?" I say and looks at me "what are you worried about? What he'll do or me going back to him?" I ask

"Honestly? A bit of both" he says

"Don't you trust me?" I ask

"Of course I do, it's him I don't trust" He says and I take his face in my hands.

"Why on earth would I pick him over you" I say "I mean have you look at yourself lately I would have to be plum out of my mind" I say and he laughs "and besides anything else, I love you, you're the one I want"

"I love you too baby" he smiles "now can we forget about him, I'm sick of giving him space in our minds"

"Ok let's talk about what you want to do while you're here" I say turning to face him

"Well I'd like to take you on a proper date" he says "and just spend time with you, find out everything I don't know about you"

"Well there are no more big secrets I can promise you that" I smile "but a date sounds lovely"
