Bailey

We all stood in the living room waiting to greet the new kids and their carers.

Nearly a minute later there a knock at the door and everyone crowded around Remy trying to have the first look at our visitors. 

After a few minutes of them struggling to get through the crowd they stood in a group near the kitchen. There was nothing particularly noticeable at first but if you looked closer you could see how most of them were nervous. However two of them stuck out because of how confident they seemed one was a girl with blue highlights in her hair, the second was a tall boy with dark hair who was admittedly quite good looking.

Remy clapped her hands together.

"Guys, these are our guests from England. I'll introduce you all and show you who you're sharing a room with, then you can all get ready for a dinner at Spago"

The British kids all looked shocked.

"Isn't that really famous" the girl with blue hair asked. 

"I heard that Dylan O'Brien eats there" said a girl in all pink.

"That might be a bit much" an older man says, he's probably the care worker. "It'll be too expensive."

"Don't worry" Justin smiles. "Our funds cover treats for the kids, and whatever isn't covered by funds by the government we make up by doing fundraisers."

Both of the care workers smile at that and help the smaller children with their bags.

I go up to my room with Cordelia-Connie, not Courtney. Justin got mixed up, but she told me to call her CeCe rather then her full name.

We took turns changing, one of waiting outside the bedroom in turn. I let her go first and when she comes out a long last  I see she's wearing a long black dress with stars on it and has her hair curled. No wonder she took so long.

I quickly straighten my hair, grateful that I'd washed it this morning. Changing into my pink blouse with a matching  white skirt and pink ballet shoes I apply some basic make up, just concealer, mascara, highlighter, lipgloss, blush and eyeliner.

By the time we're all in the minivan and ready to set off it's almost 7pm which is when the reservation is.

We arrive on time and are seated at a long table adults on  one side and children on the other. I'm next to Avery and Zach and across from me is Cory who's in between Elektra, the girl with blue hair, and a tall dark haired boy called Liam.
