Epilogue

POV Belle

I’m running on castle’s outer walls. There’s nightmare horses everywhere around the city and I ran to first house. A child is crying as I climbed up from the window.

“She’s afraid of performance tomorrow at school’s play,” I heard a familiar voice whisper. I see how Marco steps out from the dark with a grin on his face.

“Marco, you have keeping me really busy lately,” I groaned and he winked his eye.

“See you at home darling,” he laughed and touched my shoulder as he left from the window.

The child woke up from her crying and she was breathing heavily. I sat on her bed. She startled when she saw me.

“Bad dreams?” I smiled to her. She nodded her head slowly, her brown curls bounced in the movement.

“My name’s Belle I’m the Guardian of Courage. You know.. I’m friends with Santa Claus, Easter Bunny and so on. You are? What was the dream about?” I asked softly.

“Giselda. I’m scared of the play tomorrow.. Everyone laughed at me,” she sobbed.

I smiled to her,”Are your parents coming to watch it?” Again she nodded her head.

“Well then, I’m sure that they wont laugh unless there’s a funny part,” I chuckled and crossed my legs.

“Yeah. But what about everyone else?” She whispered sadly and I look into her gray eyes.

“Just care about enjoying the play. I’m sure that it’s fun!” I cheered and she smiled a little.

“A hug?” I smiled.

Her thin arms wrap around my waist and I hug her back.

“You’re warm,” she giggled and I chuckled a bit. Then I see her eyebrows narrowing, she’s like thinking of something.

“What?” I grinned.

”Are you having a baby?” She squealed and my eyes flash open.

“Umm.. why?” I asked.

“It’s like you have a small bump. Like mum does and she is having me a sister or brother six months from now,” she smiled widely. My cheeks feel like they’re bursting out some flames soon.

“I don’t think so. My sister, you know her as Mother Nature,  is excellent cook so maybe I’ve eaten too much before at dinner,” I laughed and patted my stomach.

“If you say so,” she smiled and yawned.

“Time to sleep, you have a big day tomorrow,” I smiled as I tucked her in. Once she was asleep I left.

I watch at the city. There’s still much to do. I wish that Marco wouldn’t go into every house in a city where we’re supposed to work.

“Let’s see who wins.” I startled when Marco passed me. He whispered to my ear.

I laughed and I ran after him. It took me whole night to visit the children that were afraid.

When I finally got home at my log cabin in Arendelle’s woods I saw smoke rising from the chimney. Marco was already there.

“Wow it took you long time to finish,” Marco laughed as I stepped inside the cabin.

“Okay. Horse. Out. Now,” I said blankly as I pointed at the doorway.

“Sorry Night Prancer,” Marco whispered to his Nightmare horse when he patted it’s back. I see how the horse passes me.

“You named your nightmare horse,” I sighed.

“Yeah I did,” Marco grinned and then came to me. His arms wrap around me and he kisses my neck.

I started gasping for air, I’m seeing a flash of myself being in trouble with ten children. All of them are calling me a mum and making a mess.

Suddenly Marco lets go of me. His cheeks are red and he seems confused, as confused as I am. He looks at me, his face filled with questions.

“Bel, why would you be afraid of being a mother?” Marco gulped out and was breathing heavily.

I shook my head, “One girl this evening. She said that I might be expecting.” I whispered as I embraced myself.

Marco is glancing at me, I turn my head away and I felt tears in my eyes.

“Well.. it’s sort of possible, I think?” Marco whispered. He took step forward and before I could say anything he grabbed my wrist. His fingers go under my hoodie, his expression is blank.

“No! What are you doing!” I yelped as I felt his hand pressing over my abdomen. Marco closed his eyes and pressed his forehead against mine.

“I’m focusing Bel,” he whispered. His fingers are brushing against my skin. My head feels like exploding as I see the fear of being the worst mother in the world goes into repeat mode.

“Calm down Bel, you’ll be perfect mother. I would not want anyone else as the mother of my child, our child. Sshh.. you can figure out a solution and your child will love you like I do,” Marco said softly and kissed me.

Marco kisses my neck and his hand is pressing my abdomen still. My breath is calming down and I feel relaxed.

“Good,” Marco whispered and inhaled deeply. His fingers are exploring my abdomen.

“What are you doing?” I whispered as I tried to press his hand away.

“Our baby is sleeping peacefully,” Marco whispered.

I gulped. “What did you say?” I whispered.

Marco took his hand out and embraced me. ”We’re having a child,” he laughed and held me tightly.

A baby?

Then Marco tensed up. ”I need to ask your father’s permission to marry you again.”

Oh no.

Marco rushed outside from our cabin. He whistled and his horse galloped to him. He swayed himself over it’s back and offered me his hand. He pulled me on the horse too.

“Are you crazy?” I whispered and Marco started laughing.

“Crazy about you,” he said quietly.

I groaned as I saw us closing North Pole. He landed in front of my parents ice castle. I moved restlessly on my feet as we waited outside the door. Marco had knocked the door.

My mother opened up the door and she startled when she saw Marco.

“Belle?” my mother asked and I laughed nervously.

“Who is it?” My father yelled and then I saw him walking from the living room. He got irritated looking when he noticed Marco.

“I would like to discuss with Jack Frost,” Marco said.

“Well I don’t like to speak with you,” my father groaned. “Why are you with my daughter anyway?” My father added angrily.

“Because I love her. This is actually why I need to speak with you,” Marco bowed my father who seemed confused.

“Okay,” My father said and walked outside. “The king of nightmare’s is not going inside my home,” my father said bitterly.

“I honor your decision,” Marco said gracefully.

“I’m coming with you,” I said as I walked after them. I gave Marco an angry glare when he suggested me not to come.

“So what is it? And take few steps away from my daughter right now,” my father hissed.

“It’s too late for that,” Marco laughed and my father raised his eyebrow. I buried my face in my hands.

“What have you done?” My father snapped.

“I would like to ask her hand once again. Permission would be good but I’m going to marry her in any case,” Marco said proudly.

Oh god.

“Marrying a demon? No way,” My father roared.

“DAD! He is not a demon!” I cried.

”For me he is,” my father replied coldly.

“Mr. Frost. I would like to point out that the nightmares of children have been different ever since I started as the Guardian of Fear. Don’t you agree?” Marco smiled.

My father started wondering. “Well, yeah but--,” father said.

“I don’t want to make the children suffer. I just want them to overpower their fears,” Marco said.

“Mmhmm.. well that’s true,” my father calmed down.

“Please. She is bearing my child,” Marco begged.

Oh no.

I see my father’s eyes harden up again. ”Excuse me?” he hissed and clenched at his staff.

“Dad, I’m having a child,” I told him. “Your grandchild,” I laughed and wiped away my tears.

“Grandchild? Little Belle?” My father grinned and lowered his staff. Then he flew to me and picked me up while embracing me tightly. Marco smiled slyly next to us and held his arms behind his back.

Then my father glanced at Marco. “Alright but if you ever hurt her in any way, I’m going to hunt you down young man,” my father said blankly.

“I understand it Mr. Frost. Thank you,” Marco nodded his head. His eyes were shining brightly.

My father invited Marco inside their palace. I went to get Emma and her family from their cabin.

“Emma!” I cheered at their door and I dodged Lionel. He had learn to run and tried to catch me.

“Nice try Nelly,” I grinned and the little boy pouted. Then I lifted him up on my arms.

“Hey Belle,” I heard Emma saying.

“I’m engaged!” I exhaled and laughed happily.

“Finally. It has been a year since Marco joined in the Guardians. How’s your pregnancy going?” Emma raised her eyebrow and smiled mischievously.

My eyes widen, “I didn’t tell you that I’m—.”

“No but I kinda helped you out with getting it started. You know that it’s almost impossible for immortals to have children.. but since I’m mother nature and good friends with Manny and so on… Well,” she grinned.

I groaned and slapped her shoulder.

“You’re welcome,” Emma smiled slyly.

When we got back at the ice castle I felt shocked. My father was actually having a real conversation with Marco. They were laughing.

“Umm..” I mumbled as I walked over to them. I noticed that Jackson was with them and Fern was next to him, holding their almost one year old daughter Cinna.

“Bel!” Marco cheered and started standing. Quickly he walked to me and took my hand.

“I was just hearing how you tried to burn your brother’s hair when you were a toddler. So cute,” Marco whispered with his teasing voice.

“No you guys didn’t!” I gasped.

”Marco deserves to know what kind of child you could have,” Jackson grinned.

“Really troublesome child,” my father sighed and stood up, going to my mother. I joined with my siblings at the table and I laughed with everyone.

POV Elsa

I was in the kitchen when Jack walked in. He wrapped his thin but strong arms around me.

“Hey beautiful,” he whispered to my ear and kissed my neck.

“I’m cooking,” I laughed.

“I’m glad that you learned to cook during the years. Your cookings are the best,” he said quietly with his husky voice.

“Mmhmmm.. So you finally accepted Marco as part of the family?” I laughed.

“Well, you know me.. I’ve sort of liked him as a person for months but I needed to be sure that he isn’t evil as Pitch was,” Jack chuckled.

“Yes,” I told him while he let go.

Jack is sitting on the counter as I finish my cooking. A family dinner is nice to have, to celebrate Belle’s engagement.

“I’m glad that I came to Arendelle that day,” Jack said all of a sudden. I glance at him.

“I’m happy too,” I smiled.

“Yeah but you thought that I came to murder you once you met me for the first time!” Jack laughed aloud.

“That’s what you get for sneaking around mister,” I grinned.

“Yeah, well.. I saw you when you was a small child, when you used your power and wasn’t afraid. I’m glad that you love your powers again,” he whispered.

My cheeks flushed as I turned around.

“Come here,” I urged him as I smiled warmly. He hopped down from the counter and had dreamy gaze in his eyes.

“Yeah?” He smiled.

“I love you more than my power,” I whispered as I wrapped my arms around him.

“I love you too. You made my life full,” he said lovingly and leaned forward.

His thin lips were as soft as ever. Every kiss of ours felt like our first kiss always. The way he started shyly, slowly experiencing and feeling my lips against his. The way his breath hitched as he began to want more and how he deepened the kiss. How his hands crawled up on my back and his hand sank into my hair as he was kissing me more lustfully. Our love was full of passion, after all these years.
