It was hot, hotter than yesterday and the day before that. It was silent just like it was yesterday, mom was yelling at dad but I couldn't hear what she was saying just like when she talks to me. My world was filled with silence and no worries. I could only scream when they took me away or what I thought was a scream I couldn't hear myself. My mother said something that day but I couldn't hear her so I continued to do what I thought was a scream. The kids around me spoke but I couldn't hear them I could only see them. Was I different , why did I feel alone when I was surrounded by people, why couldn't I hear them. Can you hear them?
