*Hermione POV*

I slowly opened my eyes as light filtered through the windows. Expecting to see my normal dorm, I was very shocked when I was in a very unfamiliar place.

Everything around me was red and gold, every single piece of furniture. I was in a king size bed and the sheets were red with gold trimming, see?

I sat up quickly and yawned, stretching my arms.

"Where am I?" I mused aloud.

Memories from yesterday came flooding back. Malfoy. Seducing plan. Step one accomplished.

I smirked to myself, after I walked off, I just about made it to room 394. I was trying not to get lost because the others had Professor McGonogall to take them but I just had to follow a gaggle of students.

__________Flashback________

When I finally made it, Ginny was waiting out in the huge common room, smirking. I assumed everyone went to bed and grinned at her.

"I done it!" I whispered feverishly.

"What did you do? You didn't even tell me!" She whisper-yelled.

I narrated everything from the beginning and as the story went on, her smile became wider.

"I can't believe you actually did that!" She gushed.

"I know right!" I said, eyes wide.

"But...what now?" She asked curiously.

"I-I don't know... yet" I said, deciding I would just go with the flow and carry on seducing him.

"Alright then but you better decide soon" she said coyly.

"I will" I yawned.

"Oh! I better show you your room! Look. On that side" she said pointing to the wall behind us.

There were 4 doors on the wall.

"Those are the girls rooms. Yours is on the far left side. Mine is the one next to yours. Luna's is the one next to the bathroom. The bathroom is the last door" Ginny explained.

"Oh Luna! Where is she?" I asked.

"She went to sleep before you came, talking about how okra sprites will come out at night and that it's not good to run into them" Ginny said breezily.

"Classic Luna" I laughed. "Anyway, how about those doors?" I asked, pointing to the wall in front of us.

It was identical to the wall behind us. 4 doors, spaced out evenly.

"Well those are the boy's dorms. The door at the far left end is Theodore Nott's. The door after that is Draco Malfoy's. And the last door is Harry's. The one next to Harry's is obviously the boys' bathroom" Ginny said.

I nodded and smiled at her gratefully.

"Thanks Ginny, goodnight" I mumbled, exhausted.

I walked to the door at the far left end. Imprinted on the door, was my full name.

I slowly opened the door, not really looking around at my new surroundings because I was so tired.

I groaned as remembered that I forgot my trunk in the Gryfindor dorm. I walked forward but tripped on something, giving a small shout of surprise.

"Wha-?" I said.

My trunk was there. I saw a piece of paper on top of it. I picked it up and on it, it read: You're welcome- Harry.

I smiled widely at the thought of my thoughtful best friend. I quickly opened my trunk, pulling out my pyjamas. I quickly wore them, not paying attention to anything else.

Once finished with my pyjamas, I hopped into my new bed. It was so big and soft! I grinned and buried myself under the covers, snuggling into the warmth of them.
_______Flashback over_______

So that explained why my curtains weren't closed! I was so tired, I literally forgot to close my curtains.

I chuckled and hopped out of my bed. I pushed my trunk to the corner of my room and walked over to it. I pulled out some clothes.

I decided not to go too fancy today and I ended up wearing a black skirt that stopped at my mid thigh and a baby blue T-shirt that said: Can you not? The T-shirt clung to my figure quite nicely and I decided to leave it on despite my hatred of skimpy clothes.I wore a pair of baby blue flats to accompany my outfit.

I grabbed my tooth brush and walked out of my room. I skipped to the bathroom, hoping it was vacant. Fortunately, it was.

I entered and locked the door behind me. When I turned back to the bathroom, I gasped. There was a bathtub in one corner and a shower in the other corner. Next to the toilet, there was a sink.

On top of the sink, were 3, kind of, cupboards/lockers. Our different initials were engraved on each one, letting us know which one belonged to us.

I guessed that it was for keeping make up and other stuff in. I smiled, very handy. I quickly brushed my teeth and left the room.

Ginny, Luna and Harry were already out in the common room, chatting to each other.

"Morning guys" I chirped.

They all turned their heads and grinned at me.

"Hello Hermione" Luna said dreamily.

"Hi Luna!" I said.

"Mione, are you ready to get breakfast yet? There is only 40 minutes until first period so we night as well" Harry said.

I nodded and smiled. "But Harry... how about the others?" I asked.

Harry shot me a confused look as to why I was concerned but still answered.

"Malfoy and Nott are still sleeping. I figured that they could wake themselves up... when the school day is probably over" he said with a wicked grin.

We laughed and walked down to the hall. We entered and the hall was loud with chatter coming from everywhere. We smiled and took our seats, our house tables still the same, thank merlin.

I grabbed some toast and began munching on it, joining in with Harry and Ron's conversation about charms.

Not 10 minutes later, the ferret and Nott walked in, looking like they had woken up an hour ago, judging by their hair and clothes.

They smirked at everyone and strut off to the Slytherin table, throwing winks at nearly every girl and looking like they bloody owned the place.

They sat down, looking smug at the attention they were getting. I rolled my eyes but I took the opportunity to look at the brown haired, green eyed wizard sitting next to Malfoy. Theodore Nott.

Nott and Malfoy were the sex gods of slytherin and I could see why but I chose not to.

I believed there was more to a boy then just his sexual appeal.

Just then, Theo looked up and saw me. He offered me a small smile which shocked me deeply. I looked behind me, checking if there was anyone there but there wasnt. I smiled back, furrowing my eyebrows a little, obviously confused. He grinned and then went back to talking with his friends.

Woah. Today was a strange day.

I suddenly felt a pair of eyes on me and I looked up. My eyes clashed with blue ones. Damien Gray.

Damien Grey was a Ravenclaw. He was in the same year as me and constantly pestered me.

Remember how I said that no boys liked me? Well I told a little lie ;-; ...
He had a crush on me and made no attempt to keep it a secret.

Everyone knew that he liked me and he tried multiple things to try and get me to go out with him. It was like Lilly and James' story all over again but it was anything but cute and romantic.

He tried asking me to the Yule ball but I refused, he tried asking me out in fifth year, I refused. In sixth year, he wanted me to be his 'date' to Slughorn's party, I obviously rejected him. During the war, when me, Harry and Ron were hiding, he would constantly OWL ME! Long story short, this moron would not leave me alone.

He had black hair and blue eyes, talked like a snob, had a bigger ego than Malfoy and Cormac combined and looked down his nose at everyone.

I sighed and looked down at my plate, shaking my head.

"What's wrong 'Mione?" Ron asked.

"Gray" I said.

Harry and Ron face palmed, having too many encounters with him and hating all of them.
Ginny just chuckled at my misery.

"What's so funny?" I asked.

"Your misery" she shrugged, repeating my thoughts.

I just rolled my eyes, smiling. I was just glad we didn't have any lessons with the Ravenclaws today.

I felt a pair of eyes on me again and assumed it was Damien. I scowled and looked up, ready to glare at him but instead, I was met with a pair of grey eyes.

Malfoy.

Our eyes locked on each other's for a minute. How did I never realise how mesmerising his eyes were? You could just get lost in them...

I quickly snapped out of my trance and scowled. He winked at me flirtatiously and I rolled my eyes at him, like always.

Once we had finished breakfast, we walked to Transfiguration with Slytherin... groan.

When we got to transfiguration, we all sat down in out usual seats, waiting for Professor McGonogall to arrive.

Me and Ginny talked to each other while waiting. We took a seat at a random desk.

"Attention class" Professor McGonogall said from the front of the class.

We all fell silent and started at the aging witch.

"Now I want you all to sit down in your seats. Any seat will do. Today we will be learning how to transfigure an animal into a mirror" She said.

Everyone obeyed, sitting down at different desks. Professor went through the spell in front of the class, showing the hand movement and incantation.

When we were all allowed too try it for ourselves, I mastered it straight away. Nothing I didn't learn before anyway.

After a while, a frustrated shout came from the back of the classroom. Everyone turned around to see Theodore Nott glaring at his budgie, looking defeated.

"Ms Granger, it seems as though Mr Nott needs some help. Would you please help him out?" Professor asked.

Luckily, Theo was at the back on his own and not with Malfoy or something. I nodded and walked over to him. He was now sitting down, glaring down at the floor.

"So Theo, what do you need help on?" I asked, addressing him by his nickname.

He didn't really seem to care as he carried on glaring at the ground. "I don't need help" he grumbled.

I cocked my eyebrow up. "Are you sure about that?" I asked.

"Not really, no" he groaned, putting his head into his hands.

"Well then, show me what you got" I said.

He looked up, a playful glint in his eyes and his lips twisted into a playful smirk.

"Ew! Get your mind out of the gutter!" I laughed.

He laughed as well and we found ourselves having a good time, weirdly.

"Anyway, let's get back to the task at hand. Show me" I asked.

He said the incantation and flicked his wrist to the left. The budgie turned reflective like a mirror and we could see our faces clearly but it was still alive and moving.

"See?" He sulked, crossing his arms and pouting.

I smiled a little at him. "Here" I said.

I showed him the movement again. "Your flick needs to be a little more defined" I instructed.

He grumbled and I showed him how to do it. The Bird instantly turned into a bronze mirror with a pretty trim on the outside.

His eyes widened and he sat up with a 'humph'. I turned the mirror back into a bird and I gave Theo an encouraging smile.

I had no idea why I was calling him by his first name or why I was even being friendly to him but I guess I just wanted at fresh start with everyone.

He flicked his wrist like I showed him and muttered the incantation. The Bird immediately turned into a mirror with a slytherin green trim. Snakes twisting around the frame.

"You did it" I smiled.

He beamed for a second before regaining his posture and putting on a moody face. He ran a hand though his brown hair and shrugged.

"Yeah whatever" he said carelessly.

I rolled my eyes, always the same. I got up to leave but he quickly grabbed my hand.

"Erm... well er t-thank you?" He said more like a question.

I smiled at him a little and nodded.

"W-wait!" He said.

I turned back to him with a curious face.

"I just need to say that... I'm ssssss-ssorry!" He stammered.

"For what?" I asked.

"Because. I'm just sorry for what my father did, being a death eater and all. I'm sorry how much pain he caused all of you. Forgive me?" He asked sincerely.

I smiled broadly. "Of course. I forgave everyone already. I believe everyone deserves a second chance (except Malfoy)" I said, not mentioning the Malfoy bit.

"Thanks" he gave me a goofy grin which looked so out of place with his bad boy image, being grumpy and all that jazz all the time.

"So... This year? Truce?" He asked me.

"Even better. Friends" I said, thinking it was so strange.

Befriending a Slytherin in one day! Never thought I would live to see the day...

He smirked at me and held his hand out. "Hi there. I'm Theodore Nott, you can call me Theo. Let's be friends" he said.

"Hermione Granger, nice to meet you Theo and sure" I smirked, shaking his hand.

"Class dismissed" Professor McGonogall announced.

I shot one last smile at Theo before walking off to my best friend's.

They all looked at me weirdly.

"What?" I asked.

"Are you friends with Nott?" Harry asked.

"Mm yeah. He seems nice so why not? After all this year is about new beginnings for all relationships" I reasoned.

My friends all shrugged, finding my response pretty reasonable. We all walked to our next lesson together. Just like old times.

A.N. Hey! Okay before you start coming at me with pitchforks, this time it wasn't my fault!! Honest O-O. I started writing this a few days ago. I wrote like half :) the next day, Wattpad decided to be AN ASS AND DELETED IT ALL XO. OMG. Then the next day, I started a little again and today I come on and guess what?! WATTPAD DECIDED TO DELETE MY DRAFT!! A REAL PAIN THAT IS! A PAIN IN THE ASS!!!

Anyway, ranting aside, how are you all? Hope you are well :) I'm so excited *giggles* my summer holiday starts this Friday!!
