Five days later...

Since they arrived in Athens, Nicolas has been so thoughtful and caring. He was acting like a real, good husband and father. Adriana felt that Nicolas was making up for his shortcomings and Nicolai was so happy being with him.

And Nicolas's parents comes to visit us almost everyday and sometimes, they takes Nicolai with them, leaving us alone and Nicolas most of the time.

That time we work together to find the house we wanted to live in. And now, we are here.

The house or mansion Nicolas bought is ridiculously big for just the three of us. It has seven bedrooms and ten bathrooms with a built-in aquarium.

The mansion has that classical pillared look for its main entrance, and the mansion sits on a generous 2.8 acres with perfectly manicured grounds, lush landscaping and outdoor kitchen.

There also is a sunken tennis court, a large cobblestone motor court and twelve cars parking on the grounds.

The mansion bloviated a wonderfully grand marble entry with stunning stained glass skylights that lead to the formal living room, wine and dining room, grand family room, game room and huge eat-in kitchen. The estate includes a large pool and a cabin.

The estate also features a top-notch home theatre that includes a concession stand and advanced sound system.

Moving to another house is not as bad as what Adriana thought it is.

Well, the perks of living with a billionaire. All their stuffs were moved by his crews. Everything were also been put together, again- by his employees.

Adriana's parents were also picked up by Nicolas' private pilot, Christian to joined then in their house warming, so as Adriana.

It still surprise Adriana how billionaire's life works. It's all spoon-feeding and hand-holding.

Adriana's parents thank Nicolas countless times for his gifts to them, the big house he bought for them. Nicolas just told them it was a thank you gift for helping Adriana raise their son.

Mikaela and Sergio was also grateful that they are present in their house warming, tonight. She was happy that her parents are there. Giuseppe had reasoned out that he's busy, althought Adriana thought that Giuseppe hasn't find in his heart to forgive him completely.

Adriana heaved a sighed.

It's almost seven and everyone is dress for tonight. It wasn't as formal as how billionaire's throw their parties. Since, it's just close friends and families, the party is non-formal. Anyone can wear any type of clothing as long as they are comfortable.

Nicolas parents will be coming and his two sisters, Nicolas friends too with their wives, and my parents. And, I'm glad that none of Nicolas mistresses is coming, including Phoebe. After that encounter, she didn't showed up.

I hope.

Adriana was wearing a green hugging fitting silhouette, feminine floral print body-con midi dress paired with  three inches open toe heels.

She just let her hair loose and let is cascaded around her shoulders and back. Completed it with a small pearl earring stud and her rose gold watch.

Adriana look around the big master bedroom and again she felt overwhelmed. The room is as big as four bedroom, with two walk in closets for her and Nicolas. The room has chandeliers and it's own fireplace and sitting area. It's like a dream for Adriana.

Just as she splashed herself a little of her Dior perfume, she decided to find her son. Nicolas also hired a helper to help them with Nicolai, which she thought was absolutely absurd.

He doesn't want her to work to look after Nicolai, but he also hired a nanny for him. How is that make sense to Adriana. And as usual, he won.

Adriana walked out of the master bedroom and to her left hallway, then to her right, where her son's room is. He has his own adjacent toy room and walk-in closet, with an ensuite washroom.

Adriana knock once and she didn't hear anything from behind the door, so she assumed they must be in the washroom or the walk-in closet.

She decided to open the door and she heard Michelle helping him from getting ready. He looks like he just came out from the washroom.

"I'll help him, Michelle." I smiled to her. She's in her mid-forties and she used to be Briana and Victoria's nanny.

"I'm sorry Addy. I tried." Michelle apologized and I just smiled and nod.

Michelle left us and I face Nicolai. "I hope you're not giving Michelle a hard time, honey. She's so nice to help us." Adriana told Nicolai as she help him puts his blue collared top on.

"I want to do it, but she's not letting me." Nicolai whined, glaring at the door.

"Then tell her in a nice way. Don't use your tone you just used me Nicolai. Please be nice to her." Adriana explained.

Not long, Nicolai is all dressed with his black jeans and blue top. His tousled thick hair was already cut a bit shorter making his cheek a bit chubby, but he's still adorable and he's still Adriana's baby.

His sea green eyes, prominent nose, his almost develop chiseled jaws was so gorgeous.

Moments later, Adriana watch her son while he's playing with his new lego set, completely drawn to him. She didn't heard Nicolas footsteps coming towards them.

Nicolas leaned on the doorframe of the adjacent room, which is Nicolai's toy room, as he watch Adriana in her midi dress and his son, animatedly playing with his new lego set.

"Are my important people of my life ready?" Nicolas grinned as he stood up and slowly paced to their spot. Nicolas stops to where Adriana was sitting.

Adriana was sitting on the floor mat while her son was building his lego set on the lego table.

Adriana smiled as she discreetly skimmed Nicolas' body. He was wearing a white buttoned down shirt, with the sleeves rolled before his elbow, neatly tucked in his gray jeans, showcasing his buffed thighs or legs. His crisp white shirt didn't also hide his rippling muscles.

He just looks so yummy and Adriana is starting to feel hungry.

Hungry for him.

"Are you ready?" Nicolas asked Addy as he extend his hand to help her up on her feet. Addy took his hand and as soon as she's on her feet, Nicolas quickly snake his hands around her slim waist.

"You look so beautiful tonight." Nicolas murmured on her lips before taking her briefly.

"Thank you," Addy smiled shyly as she recollect her haywire thoughts.

"Let's go." Addy bob her head and pulled herself away from Nicolas' hold and instruct her son to leave his toys for now.

Nicolai protested as usual, but with just one word with Nicolas, he finally move and we all headed downstairs, where the party is going to be held.

Mikaela, Sergio, Melaina, Brianna, Victoria, and Lachesis was waiting in the hall, and they all looked at our direction as we walked down the sweeping staircase, with Nicolai on Nicolas' arms. As soon as Nicolai saw Mikaela, he quickly wriggled out of Nicolas' hold and ran down to meet Mikaela, almost tumbling down the stair steps.

Everyone congratulated us and one by one, of Nicolas' friends arrived. Yvonne and Demetrio arrived first, then Stavros and Alessandra. Minutes later, Rafael and his wife, the duchess, Tatiana and then Zandros and Lauren almost at the same time.

"Congratulations, buddy." Stavros grinned mischievously and Alessandra greeted us too. Stavros hugs Addy briefly.

Soon, Rafael with his wife, Tatiana approached Adriana and Nicolas. Rafael was holding her possessively on the waist. And Addy noticed that all of them were holding their partners on their waist. She thought, it's too possessive.

"Welcome to the club, amigo." Rafael chuckled as he hug Nicolas briefly. Nicolas chuckled and hug him back. Then he kissed Tatiana on her cheeks briefly. Rafael's eyes turned dark and Nicolas pat him in the shoulder. Rafael gave Addy a brief kiss on the hand and Nicolas almost hit him in the face.

"She's all yours, amigo." Nicolas grinned forcefully and Rafael grinned too when he saw how Nicolas' face disgruntled after that brief kiss on Addy's knuckles. Rafael pulled Tatiana on her waist to his side. Tatiana giggled and told him to stop being so jealous, but Rafael just brush it off.

Zandros soon came next to congratulate them and they all shared pleasantries. Adriana watch them all and they all look happy and excited. The only tension created when one of the wives is being touch or held by one of their friends. Adriana thought it was ridiculous.

Obviously, the billionaires are completely whipped ass.

Lauren, Alessandra, Tatiana and Yvonne thought it was also absurd, but at the same time, they felt really good. They know they don't have to worry for their partners to cheat on them. Their past was left behind and now they are living with the same principles.

Happy wife, happy life.

Everyone was introduced to Adriana's family and their son. Nicolas' friends was gawking at Nicolai and couldn't believe their eyes that they are seeing a younger version of their friend.

"No need for DNA test, buddy. He's your spitting image." Zandros whistled, with his eyes looking stunned on how so close their looks alike.

"I can't believe it." Zandros added.

"I don't need one." Nicolas nodded and the whole gang agreed.

Nicolas gathered his friends to the loggia where they could resumed drinking while chatting. Adriana also led the girls to the living room and give the men a time for them to chat and catch up, which the girls agreed.

At the loggia...

Rafael was sitting beside Zandros and Demetrio, while Nicolas beside Stavros, across Demetrio.

"So what is your plan with Adriana?" Stavros asked.

"It's good you ask. I'm planning to proposed tonight." Nicolas told his friends with excitement and at the same time, anxious.

"Really?" Demetrio exclaimed looking unsure.

Nicolas doesn't know if Demetrio is genuine or mocking him.

"So finally, you came into your senses." Rafael mocked and he sipped his beer as he lightly chuckled.

Nicolas glared at him and he just brushed it off.

"I don't know if how am I going to pop the question though. Anyone has an idea?" Nicolas asked them warily.

Stavros and Zandros guffawed and Nicolas doesn't know which part of his words is funny to make his two friends laughed loudly.

"Just ask her, whenever you get chance. It doesn't matter if it's romantic or not. Asking her to  marry you is already romantic." Rafael remarked and Stavros glared at him.

"Girls always wanted a romantic proposal!" Stavros objected, as he shot Rafael a disapproval look and Rafael just shrugged his shoulders.

"Why don't you put it in a wine glass and pretend to give her a wine." Stavros suggested and then Demetrio shook his head.

"No, buddy. I already did that. Find another way to proposed." Demetrio objected and all of them look at him in disbelief.

"It doesn't look like you can do that. I thought you just slip the ring in her finger before asking her to marry you." Nicolas chortled and Demetrio's smile vanished and glared at Nicolas playfully.

"Any idea Zandros?" Nicolas asked Zandros, who looks like he was contemplating.

"Just popped the question." Zandros replied noncommittally.

"Don't asked him. As far as I know, he didn't have any plan when he proposed to Lauren." Demetrio laughed and everyone soon joined him including Nicolas.

"Anything you could think of, Nicolas. It should work. The important thing is, you ask her to marry you. She's going to love it, no matter what it is, or how it is." Rafael piped in.

Nicolas nods his head still unsure, but he wants to end this night engaged to Adriana. He needs to end his misery, his longings to hold, touch and have her, body and soul. He can't wait to grow his family.

Meanwhile at the living room....

Yvonne, Lauren and Alessandra was sitting on the L-shaped couch, while Addy and Tatiana sat on the leathered armchairs across them.

"So how's being married to the most elusive bachelors in the world ladies?" Addy started as she plastered a smile in her face.

Alessandra grinned. "It was like a fairytale, where I found my true prince." Ali giggled and Yvonne and Lauren nodded in agreement then chuckled after.

"Indeed it's a happy ending, but sometimes, I still feel paranoid. I know Rafael had done a lot of mistakes and also had done a lot to win me back, but there are times those bad memories comes by, and it's pretty scary.

"Right.." Ali agreed momentarily.

"So far, I have no problems yet with Demetrio, but I'm hoping it ends that way until we both grow old." Yvonne remarked and everyone nodded.

"Well, so far Zandros has been a good and loving husband and very protective and he tends to get jealous in every guy who talks to me and sometimes, it's annoying. He feels like every guy I talk to was a competitor or an admirer. If he could find a good security of the same sex, probably all the helpers in our house are all women." Lauren rolled her eyes and everyone laughed.

"I have the same situation as you." Ali piped in as she shook her head in disbelief.

"Same with me." Tatiana butted in with her disagreeing eyes.

"I bet Yvonne has the same fate as you ladies." Addy chuckled, and at the same time she felt envious. Yvonne just chuckled and the room soon filled with giggles, laughters as they all share their stories.

Moments later, while Ali was telling about her son, Yvonne's phone beeps and she excused herself as she checks her phone. She looks up at Addy and smiled.

I smiled back. Then, she texted something before placing her phone back in her small clutch. Just a few minutes passed, Alessandra's phone beeps too. She looks at it, then tap on it after. And so Tatiana, then Lauren.

Addy waited for hers, but nothing arrived. She thought it was weird how they got text with synchrony.

Addy shook the thoughts off and listened to Tatiana's story. It was heart melting to find that the black hearted billionaire had fallen madly in love to Tatiana and how he crossed his abhorred limit to win her.

After a while, Adriana's butler showed up in the living room, announcing the dinner is ready. The girls stood up with exuberance and Addy joined them. They all headed to the dining table as they all chatted. When the butler opened the double door room to the dining room, Adriana's forehead furrowed in confusion.

Why there's no light?

Then all of a sudden, a dim light went on and a soft music. Then, the girls dispersed to her side, then Adriana saw Stavros was approaching her with a wide smile holding a rose.

Okay, this is weird. This is supposed to be a house warming.

What is going on?

Adriana was so lost, but she managed to smile back to Stavros as she took the single rose. Then, out of nowhere, Zandros walked to her direction with the same smile with a tinge of wickedness in his eyes.

Adriana raised her eyebrow and her confusion rises.

"For you," Zandros smile broadened and he hug her the same gestures with Stavros.

Then, as she expects Rafael was walking down to her direction with a single white rose, same as the two and smiled wickedly.

"For you," he said and he kissed the back of my hand and winked before following the other two who was now besides their wives.

Adriana felt like she's having her debut party.

What is this?

God, the suspense is killing her. Her heart was pounding loudly in her chest.

Then, Demetrio came out from another door with a rose like the others and starting pacing to my direction.

Okay, this is the debut party that I had dreamed of, but my family can't afford to throw one for me.

Adriana calmed her nerves and thought of enjoying the moment although she has no idea what is going on.

"For you, finally." Demetrio said and Addy's eyebrows pressed tightly together.

Finally?

Demetrio handed her the fourth white roses and she took it and returned his smile, but with confusion.

Then the lights went a little brighter, and the music changes to "The Prayer".

Okay, if while ago she felt like she's in a prom, now she felt like she was getting married. Only that, she was supposed to march not the other way around.

After like a decade, Nicolas came out from behind another door with a bunch of white roses and a single red rose in the middle of it.

As soon as he reach me, he handed me the roses. I was staring into his eyes and so he was. I felt like my world just stops and all that is matter is him. Everything seems to shuts off. Our eyes locked.

"This flowers cost so much, I hope you like it.." Nicolas grinned and Addy's forehead furrowed as she looks down on the bouquet of flowers to check what is so special about the flowers that is so expensive.

Her eyes widened when a shimmering stone caught her eyes.

Her one palm suddenly landed on her mouth as she gasped with her eyes widening and tears brimming under her eyelids.

She was speechless.

The diamond ring was sitting on the red roses, sparkling through the dim light. When Adriana looks on Nicolas, he's already on his knees.

Adriana look down on Nicolas holding her tears, as she waited for Nicolas to speak.

"Adriana moro mou, I know I had been a jerk to you, for running away from you. Now that I found you, I will never ever make the same mistake again. I want to spend the rest of my life with you. Will you marry this jerk?" Nicolas asked in his glistening eyes.

"Yes, yes..." Adriana croaked as she let the tears streamed down her cheeks. Everyone applauded and Nicolas stood up and held her close to him. Then, he took the ring and slid it on her finger.

"Oh-oh..." Nicolas said because the ring was a bit loose. Well, it's big.

"You thought I'm fat?" Adriana glared at Nicolas. The ring fits Adriana's thumb.

"Sorry, moro mou. I fitted it in my pinky." Nicolas chuckled and then kissed Adriana's lips.

"We can go to the shop tomorrow and get it resize." Nicolas grinned and kissed her again.

"Let the party begin!" Demetrio said loudly and Stavros proposed a toast.

Adriana waited for him to say the three words, but it didn't came. She just comforted herself with the thought that they are already engaged.
