The biking plan evaporated into the thin air as soon as Nicolai entered the big toy store. He couldn't decide which one to buy. I felt so overwhelmingly happy and contented to see my son and Adriana as they both happily talk and make a decision on what to buy.

Nicolai would agree and then seconds later he would change his mind as soon as he sees another interesting toy.

"Daddy, how many can we buy today?" Nicolai asked giving me his puppy dog eyes as he tilted his head upwards, a little bit backward so our eyes meet as I hovered over him.

"Anything you would like, son!" I smiled widely and I tousled his hair. Nicolai's smiled widened and excitedly bounce back to the toy shelves.

I look at Adriana she was glaring at me.

"There's no room in our house once he brought all this toys home!" Adriana stressed out in exasperation, reminding Nicolas in a smooth sarcastic way, cracking an awkward smile but her eyes says different.

"I will find a way to fit all those!" I grinned to Adriana as I pulled her closer to me. She yelped and her protest muffled and died in my mouth as I crashed her delectable lips. Nicolas didn't care about the eyes glued to them.

When Nicolas and Adriana pulled themselves away, they realized their son was watching them with a toy box in his hand. He was grinning broadly.

Adriana felt embarrassed and some shoppers were shooting them a deathly glare while others an envy stare.

Nicolas seemed not to care. He squatted to his son's level.

"Daddy can I buy this?" Nicolai asked as he showed Nicolas a big box of hot wheels, which he struggled to carry.

"Alright, help daddy to go find a trolley so we don't have to carry it. Will you help daddy?" Nicolas asked smiling brightly to his son. Nicolai nodded his head furiously as he kept bobbing his head, with his body tense and shakes in excitement.

Adriana just shook her head absentmindedly as she watch the two spitting image in front of her. It still surprises her how the two looks so identically alike.

"That's a good idea daddy, and I could fill it up with toys, right daddy?" Nicolai said gleefully as he bounce down the hallway with Nicolas holding his hand. Adriana waited for them and she notice two man in their suit a good distance from her, looking like a stoic statue.

She can't be wrong, they are Nicolas' securities. She absentmindedly rolled her eyes.

She averted her eyes to her son and Nicolas and her heart was filled with love and happiness as the two was heading to where the trolley are. Almost every eyes in the store was glued to Nicolas.

Why not?

He was looking so perfect and hot in his gray jeans and white top, with his muscles buffed up. I felt so proud walking beside him. But, the thought of not knowing where she stands in his life took that happiness away from her heart.

Suddenly, she felt empty.

She shook the thoughts away and tried to focused on just today and enjoyed it. Savour every moment with them.

Adriana saw the two heading back to where she is with a big trolley. Nicolai was pushing it forward, while Nicolas was trying to help him direct the trolley not knocking the shelves over.

"Now, go pick some more!" Nicolas chuckled at his son and Nicolai bounce to the Lego aisles, looking very excited.

"Don't spoil him too much!" Adriana told Nicolas as she took the trolley from his hand since it look awkward, him holding and pushing a trolley.

"I'll take it, moro mo." He smiled and stole a kiss again before I could react. He's getting so comfortable in kissing me even in public area.

I look around and saw a few eyes giving me an envy look. Some are staring at Nicolas probably imagining something explicit with him.

I heaved a sighed and I know, I have to get used to it. Wherever we go, he always gets this looks from the opposite sex.

I myself can't stop swooning over him, even though I promised myself not, but my traitorous body is not helping me at all.

Nicolas was very happy. He just let his son picks whatever he likes.

Adriana was smiling as she watch her son and Nicolas picking boxes of legos and deposited it in the trolley.

Not long, they are all heading to the cashier and indeed the trolley was filled with toys. Some kids was staring at the trolley with envious eyes.

Nicolas remembered to call his manager, David.

"I'll just make a quick call moro. Here," Nicolas gave Adriana his black premium card. Adriana shook her head and insisted to pay the toys. Nicolas stared at her grimly.

Adriana then apologized, realizing Nicolas wanted to make up with his son. So Adriana took the card and Nicolas gave her another quick kiss, after whispering her the pin code for the card, before he moved to one corner as he pulled his phone from his pocket.

Nicolas shot his securities a look that sends them to help Adriana with the toys.

Adriana saw the driver/security came to her side.

Adriana watch the girl in the cashier scanning all the toys, with another girl beside her helping to put the scanned toys in a big bag.

Alessi the driver/security took the bags.

Adriana glanced at the black card she was holding and she gulped audibly. She has seen this before from Francesca, it was her father's unlimited credit card whom Francesca used.

The card says everything. It looks sleek and screams luxury. Sleek black, giving you the thoughts of suit and tie. Only for super rich people.

"Tutto è venuto a 463,15 Euro , maam." (It all came to 463.15 Euro, maam.) The young lady cashier said as she smiled broadly.

Damn, that was too much for just the toys.

I gave the black card to the girl and she looks surprised staring at the black card like it was the most enticing thing in the world. Probably she haven't seen it in her entire life before. The same reaction when I first saw it too.

"Sei così fortuna di avere un marito come lui !" (You're so lucky to have a husband like him!) The girl giggled softly as she shot Nicolas a dreamy look. I almost rolled my eyes.

I force a fake smile even though my heart swelled with happiness and proud.

"Grazie," I mumbled and waited for her until she's done and gave me back the card after I punched the pincode.

I was surprised I have memorized the four digits when my head just went haywire after that brief kiss from him.

Nicolai tugged Adriana's top and Adriana look at her son.

"Tuo figlio è così adorabile e molto bello!" (Your son is so adorable and very handsome!) The old lady behind us said and I thank her and gave her a very warm smile.

"Mommy, can we go home now?" Nicolai's excited voice dragged Adriana's attention back to him.

"We have to ask daddy." Adriana smiled to Nicolai and walk to the direction of Nicolas, while the two securities carrying the bags exited.

"Mommy, my toys..." Nicolai whined as he followed the back of the two securities. He was close to tears.

"Honey, they are your daddy's minions. They won't take your toys away. They just help us to bring it to the car." Adriana explained to Nicolai's disgruntled face.

Nicolas saw Adriana and Nicolai coming towards his direction. He called his manager David to find an agent. He needs a big house for his family and Adriana's parents to live when he will bring his family with him in Athens.

His manager agreed and promised to find a big house before they will leave to Greece.

"Let me know ASAP if you found one. I want my woman to see and approved it." Nicolas responded with his free hand tucked in his pocket.

Nicolas saw the gloomy face of his son and wondered what made him so upset.

"I'll talk to you later, David." I dismissed and ended the call before the two reach him.

"What happened, figlio?" Nicolas ask as he squat to face his son, holding him closer to him.

"Those two big guys, took my toys." He cried and Nicolas realized what he's talking about. He chuckled and pick up his upset son.

"Ok, let's go find those big guys and get your toys back!" Nicolas chuckled and Nicolas wipe his eyes with the back of his hand.

"Really?" He said in his wide eyes.

"Si, daddy will get your toys back." Nicolas chuckled and Nicolai excitement was back. Nicolas hold Nicolai with his one hand effortlessly, while his son curled his one hand on his neck.

Nicolas laced his other hand on Adriana's hand and they all headed to the door. Adriana felt so happy. She ignored the negative thoughts running in her head and just savor the moment with him- her family.

A lot of envious stares shooting in her direction, she just ignored it.

Then, she remembered the black card.

"Oh, I have to give you this back before I forget it." Adriana pulled her hand off of Nicolas and pulled the black card from the pocket of her purse.

"Keep it moro mou. It will be convenient." Nicolas responded nonchalantly.

"No, I have savings Nicolas." Adriana protested and she felt overwhelmed.

Nicolas put Nicolai down as soon as they reach the limo and face Adriana. "Keep it. You will be living with me and I want you and Nicolas to have whatever I have. I hope you will let me this time! I want to make up with both of you!" Nicolas stared into Adriana's eyes and she felt being drowned in his sea green, bluish eyes. He looks so sincere and happy. Adriana felt the need to just agree with him.

She doesn't want to take those happiness away.

She nods her head absentmindedly and Nicolas pulled her to his chest. The two was oblivious with their son, demanding his toy back from Alessi and Lorenzo. Alessi chuckled and gave him one back of his toys before carrying him inside the limo.

"Thank you!" Nicolas whispered and pressed his lips on Adriana's head.

"No, thank you!" Adriana responded and she looks up on him locking her eyes on his. Adriana stood on her tippy toes and kiss him on the lips briefly. Nicolas grinned and his heart swelled with happiness.

This is what he always dreamed.

Adriana just then realized what she did and she felt embarrassed. She wondered where did that boldness came from.

Nicolas smiles plastered in his face. Nicolai was already oblivious around him, too focused on his new toys.

Nicolai was already entertained with his new toys as he talks to himself. Adriana was just listening to him, as she smile occasionally.

"Can we visit Miranda tomorrow? Nicolai can also play with Amadeo, Miranda's son. Guiseppe will be there with his wife Samantha or Sam and their daughter Lowella." Nicolas doesn't suit him well the idea, but he knew he can't say no, especially if he doesn't have any plan for tomorrow. It would look unreasonable. He hated to see Paolo being too close to Adriana, and her brother Guiseppe haven't forgiven him.

He could stay in the hotel, but leaving his son especially Adriana alone with Paolo just doesn't really settles him.

"They are a good family friends. And, Nicolai likes to-"

"Of course," Nicolas responded forcing a smile, not wanting to piss her off. He already did this morning and she treated him coldly. Without Nicolai she wouldn't talk to him.

"I'll call him then, let them know we are coming tomorrow," Adriana smiled and about to pulled her phone, but Nicolas stop her.

"Call him later!" He snapped not realizing his sudden change of tone.

Adriana looks at him in curiosity. But, his face was impassive.

Adriana thought he is a bipolar. He was warm and then one second, he's cold.

So she tried to brush it off his sudden change of mood and went on her phone texting her best friend Francine instead.

Adriana waited for her reply. She looks out the window not wanting to see Nicolas brooding face. There's no time they didn't bickered.

She wished they could talk like other normal couple.

But you're not couples! Her inner self chided.

Adriana ignored her inner thoughts and heaved a sighed.

Nicolas' temper is starting to prick his system. He doesn't know if she's texting that gorilla since she was quiet and kept on checking her phone.

Not long, the limo slowed down and pulled over by the curb right in front of their apartment. Just as everyone was off the limo, Nicolas phone rang. Nicolas excused himself and accepted the call thinking it was his agent.

"Speak,"

"You son of a bitch! Where is my grandson!!!" my angry father yelled in my speaker and I cringed with the tone he uses me and his words. Dad was used to be very calm, even how cold his tone is.

"How did you know?" I asked shocked how the news spread like a plague.

"Dear son, there's nothing in your life that's hidden with the media. Now, where is my grandson? We have been here waiting for like two hours!" Dad impatient voice resonated in my ears and my eyes whipped to the apartment and heard a loud commotion- or noise created by my family.

Damn! They are all here!!

Nicolas quickly ended the call and briskly walked into the apartment where Nicolai and Adriana already inside.

"Oh my god, my grandson! It was Nicolas when he was like your age!" I heard my father's said sounding so excited and happy. Nicolas eyebrow puckered. This is his first time to hear his father tone like that. Even when he earned his first billion.

Nicolas saw his complete family crowded the room. Dad and mom was looking excited as they talk to Nicolai. Awed written all over their faces.

Adriana was stunned to see Nicolas complete family in their living room sitting comfortable as they waited for us.

When they saw Nicolai entered the room, and I was following him they all got up and Nicolas dad who was on the phone ended the call and hastily walk to where my surprised son's direction.

"Oh my god. You and Nicolas are so much alike." One of his sisters smiled full blown with her wide eyes full of excitement and thrill.

Nicolas dad approached my son, not noticing me walking to my sons direction. Their attention was all focused to him, with happiness and excitement printed in their faces.

When Nicolai look around for me, I smiled at him for reassurances that they are not a bad people. Nicolai looked back at the man squatted in front of him still clutching the toy box in his chest. Then he realized I was behind Nicolai he stood up and face me with a big smile.

"You must be Adriana De Luca, who captured my son's heart! I'm his father, Lachesis Petrpoulis and this is my wife, Melaina and my two daughters, Victoria and Brianna." Nicolas' dad introduced and he stretched his hand for handshake. I noticed my parents standing behind them.

Brianna, Victoria and Melaina approached me and gave me a hug and kissed in my cheeks. Everyone seemed very warm.

After a few pleasantries they were back on getting Nicolai's attention and affection.

"Lego toys. I like that!" Lachesis smiled at Nicolai. Nicolai's eyes lit up and he grinned.

"Daddy and mommy bought it for me. It is really cool. I still have lots in the car." Nicolai responded shortly with a big smile as he looked around for his other toys.

Nicolas walked in, not liking his family all here like a flocking birds around his son.

"You, mister Brooding, you didn't tell us we have a nephew! My God, we have been waiting for this!!" Victoria exclaimed as she pulled me for a hug. Victoria was next to me then Brianna.

Brianna approached me too with the same accusing eyes and I shrugged it off. Pulling her for a hug and kissed her cheeks, I glared at her to stop whatever she wanted to say. She just rolled her eyes and stepped back as she also wanted to talk to her adorable nephew.

Adriana squatted and took her son's attention.

"Nicolai honey, I want you to meet your other nonno and nonna and your zias," Adriana started and Nicolai look at her in confusion.

Adriana smiled to his son.

"Nonno and nonna? But, I already have nonno and nonna!" Nicolai responded too innocently as he roamed his eyes to find Mikaela and Sergio who was teary eyed watching them.

Adriana smiled widely and shook her head lightly. "You know, you can have two nonnos and two nonnas. Don't you like it?" Adriana asked.

Nicolai just shook his head.

"Nonna Mikael and nonno Sergio is my parents, and here is your nonno Lachesis and that is your nonna Melaina, your daddy's mom and dad!" Adriana explained it slowly trying to make sense to her son who was also carefully listening as he ran his eyes to everyone.

"And who are they? They have pretty eyes like me," Nicolai said innocently pointing to Victoria and Brianna.

"I am your aunt Brianna," Brianna said cracking a sweet friendly smile. Nicolai smiled back.

"And, I'm Victoria, your other aunt!" Victoria grinned. "I will buy you more toys if you give aunt Victoria a kiss." Victoria negotiated as she smile broadly.

Nicolai was grinning broadly as soon as Victoria's words sunk in his head and understood what she meant. He walk closer to Victoria, as she squatted to his level and loop his hand around Victoria's neck and kiss her cheeks. He was struggling to keep the box with him.

Lachesis, Brianna and Melaina pouted unconsciously.

"How about nonno and nonna Melaina?" Melaina butted in giving Nicolai a wide smile. Nicolai look at Melaina and then look at his mom and Nicolas who was now standing beside Adriana.

"Go ahead!" Adriana smiled to his son encouragingly.

"How about we will go to the toy store today, only if you will give nonna a kiss and nonno?" Melaina grinned sweetly.

"But, we already went there" Nicolai pointed out making everyone chuckled with his smart retort. "Well, there must be another toy store around here, am I right?" Melaina thrusted her eyebrow up with a wide grin, trying to make a bargain.

Nicolai's smile widened and slowly he walk to Melaina's direction and as he did to Victoria, he loops his free hand around Melaina's neck and kissed her. Melaina hugged him and she was teary eyed. Then Nicolai, gave Lachesis a hug and kissed him. Lachesis carried him with close-tears.

Nicolai didn't protest.

"How about nonno can play with you with your new lego. Nonno,  loves lego." Lachesis cajoled to Nicolai and he nods his head in excitement.

"Put me down nonno." Nicolai squirmed as soon as he agreed and struggling to hold the box with one hand, he grab Lachesis other hand and pulled him to the coffee table.

Brianna pouted for not getting any kiss and Victoria grinned to her. "We have all the time!" Victoria smiled at Brianna reassuringly making Nicolas groaned in disapproval.

"How long are you guys planning on staying here?" Nicolas asked his family, and everyone looks at him like they just notice him.

"A week!" Melaina responded with the widest grin Nicolas ever saw in his life with her.

"You've gotta be kidding me!" Nicolas groaned loudly. His family was ruining his plan!!

Adriana nudge his gut with her elbow. Nicolas looks at her in confusion holding his belly where her elbow just hurtled by.

Adriana shot him a look of, be-nice!

Nicolas groaned inwardly. Then, his phone rang and every eyes whipped to his direction. Nicolas took the phone without thinking. He was still infuriated with his family who just showed up without his permission, ruining all his plan to spend more time to his family.

"Nicolas, Speak!" he snapped.

"Mr. Petropoulis, this is David. I found an agent and he had three 6-bedroom houses on the market today. He was wondering if you would like to take a look of the place," David explained and since the volume of the phone is on maximum, Adriana heard it all.

"Why are you buying a house here?" she looks at him incredulously.

Dammit David! Wrong timing to call.

David felt like he was caught stealing. Adriana's confused and at the same time furious eyes was staring at him, like scalding him!

Nicolas agreed and ended the call before facing angry Adriana.

"I thought we will need a bigger space," Nicolas responded anxiously, oblivious with all the stares inside the small space shooting to both of them.

Adriana grit her teeth. "We don't need a bigger space. This house is perfect for us!" she spat softly and trudge down to the kitchen. She felt her throat ran dry. She doesn't like the idea of Nicolas buying them a house. She hated charity.

"Don't be unreasonable Adriana. We will be a family soon!" Nicolas replied, making Adriana's head whipped to his direction. Confusion and at the same time, disapproval etched her face.

Confused as to why he considered them family, since he never told her. Disapproval because she doesn't like the idea that he got his way too easy!

Heck, I suffered for long years trying to get myself recovered of all the pain. And now, I have the ace, why would I let him get his way too easy? He has to suffer too!!!

Adriana's face hardened and Nicolas' saw it. He knew he was in trouble and that face Adriana gave him, he can't ignore it!

FUCK!!

A/N: I'm sorry guys! I didn't update last night. I was really sleepy and I couldn't continue the story. My head wasn't working and I don't like writing if my heart and head doesn't connect.. I needed the feel too...
