Nandini nervously made her way downstairs, looking
around for Manik . He was sitting on the couch nursing a glass of red wine while talking to someone's on the phone with a ever strict expression on his face .

She walked towards him and gaped at him She
looked him over, and realized she just couldn't look away

He was looking absolutely stunning in his 3 piece
black Armani suit, his broad shoulder and sculpted
abs concealed, making her want to rip those clothes
off him, his hair gelled perfectly.

As Manik heard the tapping of heels and he turned apruptly his gaze towards the staircase he hung up on whomever he was talking to as soon as their eyes
met, his eyes light up with happiness so did her s and His Mouth was agape taking in full sight of the breathtaking Greek goddess that had just appeared in front of him.

Her black eyes flecked with every shade of the colour and glossed over so they sparkled like a hundred diamonds; full lips and cheeks, both plump and rosy; and golden-red, perfectly curled locks that fell down her ivory skin to her elbows.Her ears with dawned with small diamond earrings .

No wonder she is called "star" -black eyes shining like orbs in the night.. She walked and spoke in that high class way, yet he admired her gentleness. Her face didn't have much make up but it was enough to steal anybody's heart.

Her hair were flowing in wavy curls , adding up to her beauty. His eyes travelled downwards. The black dress she was dawning looked perfect. She looked nothing less than a Queen. A Goddess.

Nandini was dawning a stunning black dress until her feet with a sweetheart necklines .The dress stuck to her body like second skin without much display,accentuating her ample chest and thin waist complying with her curvy figure The lower part of dress had golden intricate designs all over it.

He put the glass of wine on the coffee table
before making his way to her and taking his hand in
hers, caressing it before bringing it to his lips, his
eyes never leaving her face.

".. How am I supposed to keep others off you.You look way too gorgeous.." Manik nuzzled his face into the crook of her neck .."Looks like I'm going to burn in jealousy tonight ..".' He whispered in her hair.

Nandini chuckled at the dramatics , slipping her
hand into his arms, resting her head against his broad chest, smiling peacefully while she snuggled closer to him

"Um. I..I haven't told you something Manik " Nandini said nervously as he bit her lip in nervousness

"What is it Kapoor ."Manik questioned raising his pressing a quick kiss on her cheek before regaining his composure giving Nandini a questioning gaze

"Rmember the previous night when I told you I had to go to a party tonight?" He asked.

He nodded.

She sucked in a deep breath before continuing.

..I didn't tell you about who is hosting the part didn't I .."Nandini asked sinking in the chair beside "Manik ...He has organised the party to meet all his costars, he is going to be at the party."

"Who He ?? "Manik questioned his lips pressed in a thin line

"Rajveer ..Rajveer Khanna ..my ..my ex boyfriend."Nandini blurted out closing her eyes expecting a outrageous action full of anger but none of it came .Nandini opened her eyes to see Manik sitting on the couch as comfortable as ever a smile on his face which confused Nandini .

He walked towards the chair she was sitting went down on his knees and held out his hand.

"Ms. Nandini Murthy, do you realise how precious you are ?" He said, his voice soft, his eyes hopefully gazing into hers."It doesn't matter Nandini I like the fact that you've confessed to me "He let out a deep breathe and continued ."Ex boyfriend or not you'll be always Nandini to me .He was your past and I am your present and probably future and also I've got a good chance to make him jealous at the party haven't I ?.Nandini chuckled at Manik s last statement and looked at the man sitting on his knees .He was truly his name .Manik .A Gem

."Mhmmm now I atleast deserve a kiss don't I ."Manik questioned like a baby looking expectantly at Nandini to which Nandini shaked her head in dismay .

Before she could withdraw her mind from its far places, his arms were around her. She felt again the rush of helplessness, the sinking yielding, the surging tide of warmth that left her limp. And the quiet face of Manik Malhotra was blurred and drowned to nothingness.

He bent back her head across his arm and kissed her, softly at first, and then with a swift gradation of intensity that made her cling to him as the only solid thing in a dizzy swaying world.

And he's kissing me. Once, twice, until I've had a taste and realize I'll never have enough. He's everywhere up my back and over my arms and suddenly he's kissing me harder, deeper, with a fervent urgent need I've never known before.

Nandini stepped forward as he leaned down and pressed his lips against hers, caressing his waist with his hands, his mouth urgent against hers, making her lowly moan against his lips, their tongues doing a dance of their own. Manik pulled back when they
ran out of breath Both of them panting heavily

.."Nandini" He said panting, resting his forehead
against hers while they steadied each other's breath leaning to each other's warmth .

."We are getting late let's go shall we ."Manik kissed the temple of Nandini He forwarded his hand for her to take and he led her out of the comfortably elegant apartment .

Now all Nandini could hope that everthing went well .

As the car engine sung to the Crowded Mumbai roads, relished the roaring winds that twirled in her long black hair and whistled in his ear

. Nandini was busy waving to some fans who were eating ice cream by the end of the road with a reminiscent look In her eyes. Manik decided to distract Nandini out of her reverie by caressing her cheek while keeping a eye on the steering wheel

He soon pulled up in front of one of the most posh
and expensive hotels in all of Mumbai, stopping
his car in front of the main entrance which was full
of paparazzi trying to catch a single glimpse of

Manik put his shades on and got out of the car,
buttoning his stunning black blazer in attitude,
Sparing a single smile to the cameraman and like a true gentleman Opened the passenger's door and giving her his hand.

Nandini s eyes shined like stars as she took his hand She set her black stiletto clad foot on
the red carpet followed by the other as she stood up,
giving him a stunning smile to the paparazzi as they roared in excitement getting a picture of them together

The paparazzi went crazy the moment she stepped
out of the car, as they got the spiciest topic for their
newspapers, tabloids ,magazines and TV channels.

Nandini s cheeks reddened at the look in his eyes .So full of love desire and affection that she felt that she could pass out any moment .Manik three the car to the valet while walking towards the media area where blazing questions were waiting for both of them

.."Sir you look really sexy ."questioned a female reporter jealousy evident in her eyes while Manik shaked his head in absolute amusement at the look of murder on Nandini s face .

"Thanks Miss can clearly see Miss Nandini Kapoor my girlfriend is stealing the spotlight from me ."Manik stated looking Nandini and everyone awed at this expression .Nandini stared at Manik who has efficiently dealing with everyone s answers while Nandini just kept gazing at me wondering how did she manage to get a gem all for herself

.."Sir Are you aware that the party you are attending with Ms Kapoor is organised by her ex .."A reporter stated and Manik s lips pressed in thin line but he quickly regained his composure and smiled at the Male reporter

."I am Sir it doesn't matter who was in Nandini s past all I know she is my present and future ."

Manik then did the unexpected

He pulled her into his arms, wrapping an arm around her waist, smooching her lightly on her lips claiming what's his infront of the media .
Everything came to a stand still as the world got a glimpse of what they felt for each other

He couldn't but feel proud to show off his beautiful girl.

They entered the party hall arm in arm to be greeted by grand chandeliers and flashy decorations, along with men clad in suits and women clad in expensive designer dresses , exquisite jewelry and limited edition clutches and purses, costly perfumes filling their nostrils.

Soon, many men in suits and blazers with their
partners wrapped delicately in sparkling dresses came forward to greet Nandini and Manik talking to them about various subjects including cricket ,politics ,business everything

Nandini indulged into the conversations her on Manik s arm never loosening on Manik s Nandini made sure that she introduced her boyfriend (even though it wasn't needed ) to every actor or actress she knew , as she made clear exactly what he
meant to her

Manik and Nandini mixed into the crowd sipping their respective drinks .

So What do you think?" Nandink enquires while flashing a smile to the waiter who was serving the drinks

"Mhmmm Kinda boring." Manik said, sipping his wine, trying to stifle a yawn from taking over his sharp features as he saw another girl checking him out while he just rolled his eyes at her

Nandini let out a low chuckle ."Where is your co star by the way ."Manik questioned irking his brow while Nandini shrugged but the peace of the moment was Ruined as she heard the devil s voice

"Manik!" They heard a high pitched scream as both of them to glance at the couple walking towards them arm in arm .Rajveer eyes checked out Nandini while Soha was busy battling her eyelashes at Manik

Soha glanced at the way Manik and Nandini were holding each other and threw her a very disgusted look jealousy flashing in her eyes,.

Nandini s eyes scrunched at the name sake clothes she was wearing Her dress had an extremely low cut neck line which alarming amount of her cleavage with a leg slit revealing the legit inner thigh.Needless Nandini didn't want to create a scene by pointing out her horrid sense of fashion and decided to keep mum .

.."Hello "Rajveer forwarded his hand towards Manik with a smug expression on his face ."I guess you aren't aware of who I am ,Rajveer Khanna ,Nandini s co star and ex boyfriend to which Nandini narrowed her eyes at .The nerve of this guy .

.."Oh it's a pleasure to meet your acquaintance Mr Khanna ,I don't need a introduction do I ." Manik stated smoothly a smirk on his face ."I am Manik Malhotra Nandini s current and future boyfriend ."Manik added sassily while Rajveer flustered due to embrassment and Nandini tried her best to stiffle her laughter.

.Come on join us in the private suite all the VIP s are there ." Soha stated smoothly a faint smirk on his face .Despite their protests they both were dragged to the private suite .
