They both pulled away from each other , his hands still on her face and her face now streaming with tears .

"No" he said wiping her tears "you'll never cry again... Never cry because of those who left you ... Never about the wasteland ... You'll only cry tears of happiness now .." He said .

Rey sniffled a tad as he wiped the remainder of her tears. "And someday when there's no more war you'll see everything and I'll take you there -"

"Stop Kylo" she said . He looked at her strangely and she stepped back "you can't ... " she regained her breath . "It doesn't all go away" she said .

"But Rey -"

"One simple kiss ... How is one kiss going to take back me being alone ? Or almost being raped ? Or Hungry ? Or all the lives you've taken?" She wondered "how is one kiss going to bring back your father?"

"Rey if -"

"I don't want this Kylo" she sniffled "I don't want this bond ... I don't want these feelings ... I don't want you"

"Rey you don't mean that-"

"I do... It's the only thing that can keep me safe -"

"Let me keep you safe" he pleaded.

"How can you keep me safe from you?" She asked with pain in her eyes .

"Rey please" he begged and threw his arms around her . "I need you" he said into her ear.

"No... No you don't" she tried to break free of his grasp. "You just want to get out of here"

"Please Rey" he begged again.

"You're a monster ..." She sneered and he then pressed his lips to hers .

"Please Rey" he begged once more . "I need you ... I need you so badly... I find myself going crazy thinking about you... What you're doing... Who your with ... If you're eating... Oh every day since you've been with the resistance I worried if Organa was feeding you... Giving you the food you so very much deserve"

"You worried about me eating?" She asked with a hint of suspicion in her voice .

"I worried if you were sleeping... If you had nightmares anymore ... If you dreamt of the island ..."

"I didn't" she said .

"I know" he ran his hands down her hair . "When Luke told you that you were a Kenobi you wondered who they where and why the left"

She nodded with a sniffle again and he continued to pet her hair . "You wondered what your mother looked like... What color hair and if she sounded like you" he said "and if your father was like his father ... And if you had any siblings"

She nodded into his chest and he kept his hands around her tightly . "Rey... Please ... Let me be there for you... Let me take care of you" he kissed the top of her head "let me need you"

She felt tears spill out of her eyes onto his chest , damping the tunic shirt he was wearing.

"Rey... If you let me... I'll be the man you deserve ... I swear to the maker -"

"How ?" She asked.

"I'll return to the light" he said and kissed her cheek. "Please"

"Actions speaks louder than words" she sighed and let go of his grasp . "I need to go be alone ... I'll see you ... Sometime" she said grabbing her bag and walking out .
