"You're with this monster ?!" Finn shouted .

"My husband is no monster" Rey said standing in front of Ben . "He's treated me better than any of you three or the resistance have ... Kylo Ren was a monster ... Ben Solo Amidala is not"

"Solo? What makes you think you deserve Han's name ?!" Poe asked angrily.

"It is my legal name and for protection of Rey and myself we went by the Amidala's"

"The only thing that Rey needs to be protected from is you Kylo !" Finn snapped.

"He's not Kylo... Kylo Ren killed all those people and hurt the resistance ..." Rey grabbed his hand "my husband Ben Solo Amidala isn't like that"

"How can you actually be married to this monster ? Rey he kidnapped you ! He tried to kill you !"

"Kylo Ren did all those things -"

"Rey he's brained washed you" Finn shouted and walked to him "you should be dead... You're a fucking monster"

Ben looked at him then down at Rey's hand that was holding his . Ben dropped her hand and walked out of their home .

"That's Enough Finn... You and Poe go back to the ship... Now" Luke instructed them .

Rey and Luke were sitting at the dining room table , a small yellow overhead light and cups of tea in their hands .

"You love him ? Genuinely "

"With all my heart master Luke... I didn't choose to love him ... He didn't choose to love me -"

"'Twas the force ?" He asked and she nodded .

"He's felt it ever since I was born... He was able to recall all the important moments in my life... From my birth date to the day I was left on Jakku... The day of my first menstruation ... How old I was when I was first almost raped ... How many times I was hungry ... How often I wanted my family to come back ... How many times I've felt for him as he's felt for me ... And that I've never wanted to actually kill him"

"A force bond ?" Luke asked.

"I believe so" Rey said stirring her tea.

"How did you two get here ?" He asked.

"It was the day that Poe had kissed me ... Ben and I were in his cell down in the basement talking and ... I finally told him I loved him... I knew that our love would not be embraced at the resistance nor was I about to join the first order... We fled to Ach-To and took your old home as ours ... We were married a couple of days after we left... We don't use the force anymore , and ... Our lightsabers are locked in a chest that hasn't been touched since we put them there"

"Will you two come home ?" Luke asked.

"No" Rey shook her head "as much as I want to... Ben ... He can't... He can't face those people on the resistance bases ... He can barely face you let alone his mother" Rey took a sip of her tea "I wouldn't put my husband through that..."

"Rey... How did you even get to Kylo?"

"Him and Leia ... He wanted to spend time with me , talk to me ... Kiss me ... And Leia said I would stay with him for a while each day if he gave us information on the first order ... The weapon they made ... That you all destroyed ... It was because he told me"

"Leia ?" Luke asked quietly.

"She brought us together in a way..." Rey smiled . "We told the resistance that he killed me then took his life and the first order I killed him then took my life ... No one ever came to look for us"

"And you're just living here ? "

"Ben works at the ship supply store and I work with spices and herbs healing ... We're happy"

"You don't want to come back?"

"I do... But Ben ... He doesn't and love is putting that person before yourself ... And I love him so much it physically hurts to see him upset... I couldn't do that to my husband"

"I understand ..." Luke said and the door opened , in came Ben with a soaked hood and muddy boots . He looked at Luke then Rey then back at Luke .

He sighed and walked off . "I should be going... I'll see you perhaps before we leave" Luke said .

"Of course " Rey said and closed the door behind him.
