Just Dance

"You look hot with pink hair," Jack grins as he draws his hands through Marks hair as stand in line at McDonalds.

"Well I think people with tattoos are sexier,"

"Since I have green hair and tattoos does that make me doubly sexy or what?" Jack jokes and laughing Mark hits him in the arm. Turning his attention to the menu he immediately knows what he wants, fries, strawberry milkshake and five piece McNuggets.

"I can't believe we're only eleven hours away from Oklahoma," Mark comments as he pulls Jacks hand in his, running his thumb along his knuckles.

"Doesn't seem like much does it huh?" Jack says nonchalantly even if his heart races. No doubt it take them at least one day but maybe Jack could milk two. Casting a sideways glance at Mark he knows he doesn't want to leave him. He wants to stay by his side and start a life with him. Traveling. Smiling. Just being. He wants to be happy.

"Hey you okay?" Mark asks nudging Jack and snapping back to realty he gives a smile.

"Perfect," No he wasn't really perfect but the closest to perfect he's been in forever, so he counted it.

"I don't believe you," Mark tells him before stepping up in line to the cashier.

"Welcome to McDonalds. What can I get you?" They asks flashing a unenthusiastic smile.

"Two Strawberry Shakes with two number fours," Mark says ordering for Jack.

"You want fries with that?"

"Of course," Mark answers and Jack turns to Mark as they walk away from the counter.

"Why'd you order for me?"

"At a place like this you can't order for yourself,"

"What? I only said that because it was a diner! This is McDonald's," Jack says faking a angry expression even though he's grinning inside. Laughing Mark gathers the food and sits down at a booth.

"Well I know what to order that's the best," Mark grins as he digs out two burgers and hands one to Jack. "Come on," he encourages. "As the person who ran away from home way before you I think I've got the right," he says and Jack rolls his eyes taking the sand which.

"Mmhm. Okay pretty boy,"

"So," Mark starts as he shoves a fry in his mouth. "I saw a club on my way in this town and-"

"Uh no club," Jack interrupts.

"Uh why?"

"Sweaty people. Crappy pop tunes. People grinding on everyone. It's gross,"

"Yeah you aren't wrong but we only have so much time together..." Mark sings as he bats his eyelashes.

"Err fine," Jack mumbles as he digs in his burger. They do only have so much time together.

"The musics really loud in here!" Jack later screams as music pumps through the air and Marks laughing as he holds a drink, guzzling it down in one swift drink.

"You're right Jackaboy but ya' do need to let loose! Have some fun before we get back down to business," Mark calls as he yanks Jack into the crowd of grinding body's and it as completely obvious he was not into this, not one bit.

Now clubs were never Jacks things. They had a few in Ohio but they were mostly just for shots and they ID'd stricter than a liquor store so Jack never found a point. But, here he was, being dragged along to a song he particularly hated as his boyfriend danced in front of him. Completely drunk, which only made him flirter.

"Come on these are your people! Dance Jack. Dance like no ones watching," Mark says as he giggles uncontrollably, if that'll help. Gay club or not, he still hated clubs.

"I'm not really a dancer Mark," Jack complains as Mark swirls him around. His Irish accent coming out since he was a small bit uncomfortable.

"But darling we only have some many nights left! Live with me Jack," and then it truly struck Jack. He would be leaving Mark in a day or two. A honest to god day and he might never see him again. Swiftly turning his head back up to look at him Jack realizes something. Its now or never. He either dances with Mark now or never ever again. He gets these memories now or he never gets them. And suddenly, dancing in a sweaty club doesn't seem so bad anymore. Forcing a grin he allows Mark to dance him around.

"I got this feeling, inside my bones. It goes electric baby, when I turn it one," Mark sings as he slides a hand down his waist. Clapping his hands Jack cheers him along as more people join Marks singing.

"So just imagine, just imagine, just imagine!' The club cries and Jack laughs. Finally letting go of that tension he lets loose. Moving his arms around as he sings along with everyone and he realizes that this is really fun.

"Just dance, dance, dance," Jack sings and everyone's clapping and singing and laughing. The whole aurora of the place is shining. Yanking Jack over to the sidelines as the song ends Marks practically beaming.

"I can't believe this!" Mark screams and laughing Jack flashes him a smile.

"What? That I'm such a sexy dancer?" Throwing his head back in laughter Mark shakes his head.

"That you and me are dancing..." Mark looks around, "Here!" He grins and rolling his eyes Jack shakes his head.

"You are really hammered,"

"What!? No," Mark accuses and Jack laughs before looping his arm in his.

"You need to sleep this off,"

"No I don't! I need to dance," Mark whines as he tries to pull Jack back to the dance floor.

"Mark you are drunk of your ass and we need to get to Oklahoma. We had our fun," Jack says as he tugs his away to which Mark pulls back fully and crosses his arms.

"I'm not even sure I want to make it to Oklahoma," He says defiantly. Jack stops and walks to Mark, narrowing his eyes.
"What do you mean?"

"I wanna spend more time with you goofball and when we're at Oklahoma you leave," Mark says and smiling Jack brings him in for a hug.

"You know what? We can dance pretty boy," To which Mark cheers as he pulls a semi reluctant Jack to dance and watching him dance Jacks heart sinks because Marks right. At Oklahoma he leaves...

And it's gonna hurt.

A/N
OH MY GOD I'M SO SORRY! I CAN EXPLAIN! I haven't posted in six days!! I'm so ashamed (Especially since its my spring break), but I do have reasons. First, I had literally no idea what would come next. No idea. I would sit down at my keyboard and be like 'I feel it this time' and then an hour later I would be like 'not feeling it no more'. No joke rewrote like six different types of this chapter. Second, I injured my knee. I was running up a step and busted my whole knee open, never seen so much blood and it hurt like hell. I had to go to the ER and get an X-ray and see if I needed stitches (Thank god I didn't) but it still hurts three days later and I had to do college visits for my sister so I've been busy and with my knee... it helped nothing. BUT now I'm on good terms with this story and my juices are flowing and with a two week break this story will hopefully have update after update. So be ready and as always thanks for reading and keep going!!
