Gregory's POV
I woke up and it seems to be around evening as I sneak out of my room for a drink of water and I come to the depressing realization that the only way to "help make a difference" or whatever I have to leave to help everyone in the long run and I realize that she never showed me the basement so that's probably a way out so after drinking a glass of water I went downstairs and I saw her about to do something but she quickly spoke and said "my child please go upstairs while I destroy the only exit because I can't afford to lose another innocent soul!" But I simply shook my head as a "no" so she quickly turned to me and she seems so heartbroken as she speaks "please don't go!" But I softly replied I have to if I'm ever gonna help others but even I was sad about this but something that seems like a realization appeared in her eyes as she spoke gently "if you leave there's a nearly 100% death rate and I don't wanna lose you but I realize how sad and lonely you would become here even if you had me to keep you company so you may go but when you do please do not return here!" She said tearfully but she kept herself together for me as I gave her one more tight and warm hug and she gently patted my head before I walked out the door and waved goodbye to her for the final time and as the door closed I knew I would never forget about her no matter how hard I try!
